Race Relations Act ( RRA )

Hello anybody out there can tell me what is RRA going to be and what will it do to help. Will it have a guide lines of what I can do and can not do when interacting with the opposite race. How are you going to include all the races in the world into this act? Some races will not like what is said of them and may run Amok. Indians and Chinese do not constitute as a race but as a Nationality and same with the Malays that not all Malays in the world are Muslims and not all Muslims are Malays. So where do we start. Let’s say start with the MIC, MCA, UMNO first and later on with other race based political parties in Malaysia.

M.I.C Malaysia Indian Congress – What does it means, it means you have dual Malaysian and Indian Citizenship. Please let me elaborate

M.I.C should be named as below and with good reasons

M.T.C Malaysian Tamil Congress or M.H.C Malaysia Hindu Congress. Why, please see the below reasoning

M.I.C only champions the Tamil race and language (Yes Tamil race) .Always the Tamil schools are endangered and need government assistance and help. What about schools which teaches the Telegu, Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, Maharathi, Mayalam Language and so on. Are these non-Tamils from the Indian sub-continent also part of the M.I.C.?

M.I.C only champions the Hindu religion. The people from the Indian sub-continents profess and practice Hinduism, Islam, Sikhism, Christianity, Zorasterism, Buddistism, and Jainism and so on. Why is the MIC on harping on the Hindu temples and not helping the People from the Indian sub-continents when they encounter problems with their place of worships i.e. churches, temples, gudwaras, etc.

M.I.C should rebrand itself to encompass all the races and religions of the People from the Indian sub-continents and not only the Tamils and Hindus. This is why the MIC can not attract the other races from the Indian sub-continents.

The Indians Muslim are so much neglected by the M.I.C and are too embarrassed to practice their culture openly that they had to adopt the culture of the natives of Malaya the Malays. They now want to be called as Malays. If MIC has been fair to all the races from the Indian sub-continent, Malaysia would not have been a mess like now. The poor deprived Muslim Indians who were barred by the MIC from practicing their culture are not creating havoc in UMNO. The havoc is due to proving to Malays that they are better and true Malays then the Malays itself.

I suggest that to end all this mess is for M.I.C do be dissolved and let every race to form a party to protect their interest. Like this everybody will have a place to belong to. As for UMNO, I suggest the native Malays resign enbloc from UMNO and form a new party call PMYBS Parti Melayu Yang Betul Sahaja and UMNO to be called United Malabari National Organization

Encik samy Vellu please need your input on this matter. This is an urgent matter and need to start the Debate on RRA and get is right.

Next will be on MCA. I guess the Chinese are not that fuzzy to what you can call them. They are all patriotic and look the same and are proud to be called Chinese and not Han. But remember the People from the Chinese region are also multi religious and multi-ethnic. They are Buddhist , Christians , Muslims , Confusis , Pagans etc and have different dialects as Cantonese , mandarin , Hakka , machus , hainamese , Mongolian , Tibetans etc.

See these so call Chinese do not have problems because all Chinese schools use Mandarin as this is the Chinese national language.

MIC need to have the Malaysia government to change the Language of the Indian schools in Malaysia to Hindi as this is the National language of India, if you still want MIC to be called the Malaysian Indian Congress.

Mr RRA

Ah, am glad to see that the "Word Verification" thing is no longer around - what a relief!

I think I should engage in my own small `crusade' of getting people to do away with it - unless spam at the blogs is THAT bad. As mekyam had mentioned, many people just don't know how to get rid of it!

BTW I see that your blog has gone "Web 2.0 Multimedia", with video clips, songs and all:-)

Unfortunately, I'll just have to pass by this post (and other media-centric ones). Why? There's this `small matter' of my GPRS 53.6Kbps Celcom connection - I wouldn't even think about clicking despite my curiosity.

In the early mornings (1am-5am), there are times when I do manage to get 3G. But the signal strength is only at one bar (GPRS is at four full bars).

I hope Celcom will get the 3G transmitter in my area up and running soon. Heck, I'll be happy with just around 150 Kbps - that's how easy-to-please and undemanding I am!:-)
