Answering a vermin

I don't normally answer comments or dispute other blogger's way of seeing and saying things. Sometimes, there is an exception.
There is this pesky vermin who keeps coming into my blog chiding me for being KJ's puppet and other indescribables. The way he/she writes, suggest that this person is a cerebrally-challenged person or if he has a diploma/degree, it must be one of those purchased from some degree mill operators. You can get an MBA or PhD for RM30-50,000 now. But when you open your mouth, your shortcomings and deficiencies are readily evident.
This joker who won't reveal his or her name is a testicle-less or if a female (don't know what term to use) anonymous who keeps saying that those who oppose his/their views are either KJ or Anwar's puppets. If these people are in UMNO, these are exactly the vermin that must be exterminated. It's a mark of intellectual maturity to hold on to your own and disagree with others in a civil manner.
But since he has brought up KJ's name, who, until today, I have never met in person, allow me to say a few things about this new leader. I hope the PM will consider appointing him as full minister after the sterling work KJ and his boys did in Hulu Selangor. The Pentas Pemuda is a permanent fixture of every election and has become a part answer to the opposition's speech podium. At the forefront of these oratorical onslaughts is KJ, our Ketua Pemuda whom we may say, won his post not any different from how WE won Hulu Selangor. He and his boys have worked tirelessly over the entire duration of the by election.
The manner, by which the pesky vermin pours out his feelings and thoughts, narrows the list of suspects. It's the telltale signs of a Mukhriz's bottom cleaner or soil-bucket changer. By the way, at Hulu Selangor, Mukhriz's performance was dismal as always.

Whoa! Be careful there, Dato'. Muhkriz is gonna be future PM of Malaysia. His father is pushing hard for that. If Umno won't annoint him, Perkasa will. Muhkriz can be just as unforgiving as his father...not that you need his forgiveness but that he makes for a bad enemy. Khairy is a loser, like his father-in-law. He has done good job but sadly, our country isn't into meritocracy.

I was just going to comment on this but it looks like you've beaten me to it with this posting.
I was in HS during the campaign and yes I give top marks to KJ and his boys for running a superb campaign.
KJ worked hard, he went to parliament (i know i follow him on tweeter)then he rushes to help out in HS.
Saya tengok dia bersungguh-sungguh, dia mesra dgn ordinary folk. Orang Melayu kata pandai ambil hati. The fact that he is good looking (according to my girl friends) is an added bonus.
I must confess I didn't warm to him (more truthfully resentful) when he first burst on the public scene as the famous sil. But now Pak Lah is no longer PM, i measure him on his own merits. And as far as I am concerned HE'S GOT IT!
He is articulate in both English and Malay, argues well, definitely intelligent and (my mum's bonus point) polite.
I can see him go far. In fact, I think, he is an asset to Umno.
To his detractors, cukup lah tu. Sometimes, kita baca you all attack dia mcm dia ni bukan orang Umno tapi musuh ketat.
How do we take Umno to a higher level kalau sesama kita ada phd?
There's something else you people in Umno need to know: KJ as a young leader can connect with the idealistic youth on the other side.
Masa kat HS kempen, and on tweet, so many of the young ppl on the other side say to him: KJ join us lah, why waste time in Umno.

As i said earlier, when pak lah was pm I didn't think much of kj. Whatever people like me thought of him then, I think he is working very hard to counter, and succeeding.
Dato' I think kj is still very young. Let him earn his brownie points a bit more. In a year or two perhaps. InsyAllah.

Dato'

As usual, there are always people who like you or what you wrote. Some may agree with you and some just won't. Some just decided they do not like you for what ever reason. As they say there are no chemistry.

You state your point, and as agreed by most of us, this is your cyberhome, you allow us to come in make comment, agree, disagree but most of all you allow us to come in, just like any home physically. the only problem is, some people for all it's do not understand manners. So as long as possible that you can tolerate you should, but in the end you will have to decide as to let certain people in or not.

As for KJ, to me he is one person who is disliked by most of UMNO members as one who took advantage of his FIL during his tenure as the 5th Prime Minister. Now at any opportunity, since FIL is not in power anymore, this people are much more braver.

So all in all, like it not, life goes on, if your focus is to help UMNO transform good luck to you.

Malaysia in general will benefit from you, however how much you can do if you are not within the administration is questionable.

Dato'

Yes, Either way, It seems that the only person who will listen to Mukhriz is his Dad and Vice Versa....

Still, the reality is that they both exist and will continue to cast a Pall over the Malaysian Landscape (similar to the Volcanic Ash from Iceland!).

Where DS Najib will head to depends on what he does within the next 18 months...Let's hope it's not going to be ALL TALK AND NO ACTION, for if that is the case it will be the cause of his Demise!

I second the motion on KJ. Give credit where its due and reward accordingly. He's got all the credentials. There are lesser persons in Najib's Cabinet.
Najib must be big enough to acknowledge KJ's intellect. Umno needs to weed some goons in the Cabinet like Rais.
Imbued new blood to groom them as future leaders. Najib had been groomed at a young age. Why not KJ?
Enough of punishing KJ just because of his dad-in-law. If you think deeply how can a person who lost the race for Pemuda Umno gets to be deputy minister but not the winner. Is this fair? No one in Umno is brave enough to admit it.

Bro

The attitude of such anons, very common in blogosphere, bespeaks much of our education system because they are the by products of 40 years of mass education gone wrong.

They do not know about "agreeing that we disagree" and move on or about "honourable debate"!!

Sad indeed!

That's why many support Pakatan, hoping for a great change, any positive change. I don't see this bunch of UMNO/BN Ministers changing anything for the better!

But we are not tied by our apron strings to anyone; it's performance which will determine who we cast our votes for. Unfortunately, that was not the case in HS!!

we are all of 1 race, the Human Race

umar,  26 April 2010 at 17:08

Tuan,
Mukhriz's bottom cleaner and the soil bucket changer are two different spicies.
Soil bucket changers are employed to do just that in every municipalities before the days of flush system and Indahwater. on the otherhand bottom cleaners are born to lick and suck and polish their masters. One is doing a service to society for a living while the other is stooping too low to cari makan !

Hi Dato',

Hope you have cooled down. No need wasting your V12 engine on these types.

"...At the forefront of these oratorical onslaughts is KJ, our Ketua Pemuda whom we may say, won his post not any different from how WE won Hulu Selangor...."

ahaha...dato sak; i really love your sense of humor!!!

Anonymous,  26 April 2010 at 20:02

Nice one Dato Sak,

Jangan bagi Muka bebudak ni - I rather not pass judgement on those who oppose KJ or not, but exactly your point - to obtain PHD or MBA and so on is easily possible nowdays but there is a thin line and basic civil manner need to be implemented effectively.

Yes. I notice that too - KJ this by erection, I mean election has mellowed down - this time around as well I didn't notice the "flashy" Toureng ala God Father entrance to the said Kampungs and during berkempen, ceramah

However I'm still sceptical accepting KJ to become full minister perhaps a less insignificant portfolio would do justice and to prove KJ is after all true UMNO BN material.

As for Mukhriz - Perkasa is his Umbrella-ella-ella-ella eh so being TDM son, it is evident for him to be a non performer anyways.

Well, thats the thing about UMNO BN
they failed to notice the one who are really hardworking and who are not - like Walla once said, UMNO BN
sucks in Managing basic human resources.

Flashing and throwing money pandai

Sibu would be a landslide for UMNO BN

i've met dato' mukhriz personnally, despite my utmost admiration for his father,he's disappointing..

as sakmongkol said, dismal as always..

Anonymous,  26 April 2010 at 20:41

no..no...no...Gong Tua Tai , Muhkriz is not going to be the future PM of Malaysia, no chance la, just take a good look at him...tong kosong aje la,cakap pon tak pandai, kempen kat HS pon pakai nama bapa, ciss !!

but for sure, he could be the next president of 'Perkasa' and most qualified too !!

sniper,  26 April 2010 at 21:42

Sir,

Politicians are like zebra, they are neither white nor black.

only god knows.

Abu Luqman,  26 April 2010 at 21:53

"Mukhriz dismal as ever"; proof that leadership cannot be inherited. Tunku and Tun Dr.Ismail's sons also did not even come close to their fathers' glorious attributes. Tun Razak's? While Najib may not have his father's conscience and integrity, he has become arguably more astute and cunning than his illustrious father.

Hey Dato',
Blog is where everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If you are challenged like Sakmongkol, then the testicles must show up, otherwise just ignore the "she male "

Ariff Sabri 26 April 2010 at 22:43

you still dont get it. of course everyone is entitled to his opinion provided its his/her blog. then write yr opinion in yr blog. if you go into other people's blog- that is a different matter.
everyone is entitled to live out whatever living style he wants- provided if its his home. you go into other people's home, its a different matter.
why? you cant string a sentence to do up yr own blog?

Kim Quek says 26 April 2010 at 23:12

Am I also a vermin to try to make sure you know what your fellow party members and leaders are capable of and how you are still associating with them?

Pyrrhic victory for Zaid-phobic BN "
1. The unprecedented money splashed by BN to kill off PKR and Zaid. BN ‘hadiah’,’ angpow’ and other goodies drawn from the taxpayer-ATM machines worked overtime.

2. The unprecedented low in character assassination and electioneering on the alcohol and gambling charges.

3. The array of dirty tricks of BN in unleashing prominent frogs, “mass defections” and exposes to discredit the PKR, Anwar Ibrahim and Zaid.

4. The Election Commission’s apparent de facto disenfranchisement of potential opposition voters

And your bare face liar double speaking leader and PM who on one hand tells the electorate to give him a chance to reform and on the other hand blatantly bribe the voters. Are you proud of your leader and PM?

Will you publish my comment? Will you be proud to be an UMNO member?

Ariff Sabri 26 April 2010 at 23:17

kim quek,

i am surprised you missed the point. i said the mark of intellectual integrity is to hold your own while disagreeing with others in a civil manner.
you have given yr opinions and reasons in yr blog where you are free to do so and have done so.
i am here responding to commentators from my own party who doesn't have an inkling how to differ.
unless you want to place yrself in this 2nd category- then yes, you are a vermin an di have no hesitation to blast you too.
so choose where you want to be

Anonymous,  26 April 2010 at 23:43

Dato
You are very articulate and intelligent. You write splendidly. But i am bit perplexed and stumped as well.
You only seem to see or hear things that you want to accomodate.Other issues are totaly ignored.Especially those which might be damning to your party
Mohon sedikit penjelasan. If u think its a waste of time kinda question then just dump it and if you feel its not a gud question let me know too.I will list a few not very good things happening in Our homeland which you have chose to ignore.

Not Kim Quek 27 April 2010 at 00:03

Sorry for the misunderstanding. "Kim Quek says" is not Kim Quek but my clumsy attempt to draw Datuk's attention to Kim Quek's article The Hulu Selangor by-election debacle: Is it worth it, Najib?

See - "To induce votes, Najib and his colleagues made innumerable on-the-spot grants of cash and promises of goodies (many were conditional upon a Barisan Nasional win) that run easily to hundreds of million of ringgit during that compact campaign period."

Those are our (rakyat's) money Najis is throwing.

"To induce votes, Najib and his colleagues made innumerable on-the-spot grants of cash and promises of goodies (many were conditional upon a Barisan Nasional win) that run easily to hundreds of million of ringgit during that compact campaign period."

What do you think will happen to your hope of doing good while remaining in UMNO.

Please publish this apology to the real Kim Quek
in the hope you would follow the link and in the hope of pricking your conscience in still supporting such corrupt UMNO. Just my clumsy attempt to help bring reform to Malaysia. My apologies to the real Kim Quek

Datuk, please listen to our plea to try your very best to help bring real reforms to Malaysia, not those insincere and fake "reforms" of Najis

Anonymous,  27 April 2010 at 00:55

kim quek ni apa hal sibuk kat sini? Preferred candidate awak kalah, live with it. Zaid is a good man wasted in a wrong place. Put him up in places like Batu or kepong or petaling, sure menang big time.

Anonymous,  27 April 2010 at 13:43

Bullshit!

KJ did nothing! It was Razali's. KJ's presence would have messed things up.

Hang Jebat Jr,  27 April 2010 at 14:48

hamba pun tumpang kecewa dengan Muhriz,. sikit-sikit adu kat bapak dia, kerja dia cuma usung bapak dia ke hulu ke hilir, nak 'serang' Zaid pun main baling batu sembunyi belakang bapak,. ape da punya pemimpin umno nia,.. wajar pupus pemimpin macam ni.. apa yang bagus tentang KJ, beliau berperang cara zaman dulu, dia yang dok pegang pedang atau keris depan barisan pemuda, bukan cuma bagi arahan dari menara kawalan sahaja. Tabik KJ!

Anonymous,  27 April 2010 at 16:30

"...KJ, our Ketua Pemuda whom we may say, won his post not any different from how WE won Hulu Selangor." Based on your "Just Du-it" article, I take that you abhore money politics in UMNO's (yes, UMNO's) win in HS. That sentence on KJ says he got to his present power perch through money politics - in fact the party did find him guilty but for some reason, in UMNO, there is small unpunishable guilt and the big punishable ones. How can you ask that KJ be made a minister? He's tainted (many ministers are tainted and should go as well). I'm not from UMNO, but its my country too, you know!? I certainly do not want a money politics practitioner (albeit unpunished) to be a minister in my country's government. You confuse me on where you actually stand on ethical standards of our 'leaders'

Anonymous,  27 April 2010 at 18:11

Do it with Du it! No expenses spared, by-election or buy election? A glorious victory or pyrrhic victory?

Kazman,  1 May 2010 at 21:27

We love KJ we do! Love him to see him silent his detractors.
