Warning letter, suspend or expel . Nazri's draconian panacea. Burn the whole mosquito net to get rid of one mosquito.

Don't be afraid to take action against ku li nazri tells umno

1. Herr Nazi, I mean, nazri is a lawyer. Not sure if he is in practice, though. But I am sure he has come across the legal adage-those who come into equity, come with clean hands

2. The court refuses to give relief to a complainant, if he is, himself, blemished.

3. In this case, nazri has violated good faith in the claim he has made.

4. We know that nazri himself played a prominent role in installing the leader of the renegades as PM. In deeds, nazri represents the not umno elements in umno.

5. Therefore, his call for umno to take action against ku li is a proposal not to strengthen umno but to get rid of the only sane voice in the party led by mad men.

6. Left to the machinations of the crazy lot, umno will self-destruct. Hurrah!

7. Fortunately, umno is intelligent enough to ignore the braying of a fifth columnist like nazri. The mp of the itchy tree, will remain a saboteur, umno should be wary about.

8. Nazri has no standing whatsoever to ask umno to take action against ku li.

9. He ignores the fact, that umno has only got a bloody 38 mps. Ismail sabri is pm at the pleasure of bersatu and pas and east Malaysian colluding parties.

10. Just what kind of action does nazri propose umno do against n ku li:? A warning letter? Suspend ku li? Expel ku li?

11. It would be interesting to know what the pontian gnome can suggest to the pliant mkt.

12. Suppose umno take any of these actions. Can we then expect ku li to support any resolutions umno makes in or outside parliament?

13. Umno isn't scared to take action against anyone, but it knows to do anything taken as a slight, will make umno implode faster. Ku li is not a person without support.
We salivate at the prospects of umno imploding.

14. Take la action, Mr umno -we are eager to see umno self-destruct.

15. But wait, let us humor vat Herr nazri said. He is asking for umno to take action because by being neutral, ku li opposes the government.

16. It's true that the pm is an umno man, but it's not an umno government. It's an umno plus government.

17. The umno man can stay on as the puppet pm at the pleasure of the ecclesiastical dictators, bersatu mensheviks and others.

18. Indeed, to stay on as part of the gado gado government which nazri supports shows that umno has no sense of self-worth. It has no amour propre.

19. The actions of ku li on the other hand, shows that he is inching away from umno.

20. The indisputable fact is, umno has no future. It is incapable of reforming itself. It's the umno we have lost.

21. Umno survives because it's supported by male and female Malay rednecks, Malay supremacists and the bigoted malays. It will be irrelevant in pru 15.

22. The most logical and foreseeable outcome is the total decoupling of ku li from an incorrigible and irreformable umno.

23. Leave umno and form a new platform. As for umno, go on ...shove the pillow to a sleepy person.

24. In the final analysis, to borrow the analogy from Dennis Skinner, a one time labour mp, 1/3 of umno are not crooks .

To Shape The Bamboo Must Begin With The Shoot

1. Many times, the dumbing down of the Malaysian public is exacerbated by clownish social media.

2. Sometimes I wonder how on earth did the head of the media entity employ such idiots.

3. These people are a bad influence on the public, especially on the younger generation who go to national type schools.

4. How exasperating when we hear UMNO being pronounced as "oomphno", Malaysia Gazette as "Gezatay", Nasution as "nasushion", DAP as "da-ap", dateline as "date-leener".

5. This bloke is torturing us. He should be permanently locked up and circumcised a second time.

6. I am not an Anglophile and take pains to suffer fools. But if you Google up, it teaches you how to pronounce words. Don't be lazy. Do a bit of research. Raise the public's intelligence.

7. Don't drown the minds of the public with your deliberate mispronunciations because a generation will grow up accepting the mispronunciations as normal.

8. You may think that this mispronouncing thing is trivial and not something to be fussed about, but there are more sinister implications.

9. By and large, the people guilty of mispronouncing are Malay youths. To me that may indicate mental laziness to look up, do research and all sorts of mental inertia. On the other hand, Chinese and Indian youths take the extra mile and try to pronounce nouns and verbs correctly.

10. That may indicate a cerebral gap between the races. The future favours the industrious and smart. Where will that leave most of the Malays?

11. It's also indicative of a failed education system. Teachers failed to correct the deficiencies early.

Why we need Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah as our next PM.

1. When we gained independence in 1957 no one thought we can become a bustling economy. An umno leader from Kelantan said how can we be independent when we can't even make a needle?

2. It was another kelantanese, cosmopolitan in outlook, who helped steer Malaya's economic growth.

3. The man's name is Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah. What did he do?

4. The first thing to do is to make the economy work. There's got to be the required infra, a bustling mercantile community, the strengthening of enabling institutions, liberalisation of the economy etc.

5. Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah understood these and single-mindedly helped develop these.

6. At every level, he helped develop these requisites, content to assist Malaysian PMs who were good at broad leadership.

7. That's where you see buildings, roads, railways, ships, ports etc. These were the foundations of a robust economy.

8. I remember him mooting the idea of constructing a railway service traversing west Pahang and linking remote areas in Terengganu and Kelantan.

9. The idea is for people and goods from these areas to get into centres of economic activities. People from the interior becoming integrated into the modern economy.

10. Ku Li understood the importance of spatial economics- with its centripetal and centrifugal forces.

11. What this means is to have administrative and commercial centres become the generator of consequential economic growth.

12. Take Gua Musang for example. It has kesedar, police field force complex, public housing, schools and a robust commercial community. It became a growth pole. Gua musang I think generates the germinal idea of a Putrajaya.

13. It is important to deregulate and liberalise the economy. After independence, the economy was by and large liberalised with little government interference. This I believed made it possible for Malaysia to become an Asian tiger. Tengku was a firm believer in laissez-faire economics. No doubt nurtured in an economics student in Belfast.

14 . Unfortunately, I think because of creeping bumiputraism, big government expanded in the economy in the form of increasing regulations. Instead of becoming promoters of economic growth, the government become fetters.

15. In a sense, what ku Li helped build, was hijacked by overzealous government functionaries.

16. In Ku Li's mind, business and economic growth must always be people centred. That is why he doesn't want the ordinary folks to be afraid of government officials, especially the political leaders. Leaders rise as a result of support from the people. As a result, they must always be humble. Humility promotes candour.

17. Ku Li has always pursued the greater good over the particular good. I have told readers about the story of a car importer asking Ku Li(who was then MOF) for concessions not to pay tax first. Ku li asked the man to come back after Friday prayers. After prayers, Ku Li approved the creation of bonded areas in car importer premises. For all. Many don't know that the idea of bonded areas in car importers premises is the idea of Ku Li.

18. Ku Li is behind most of the important economic institutions. Entities like Pernas, pnb, bbmb, bank pembangunan. And of course petronas. He took a salary of only RM4000 pcm after persuasion from Tun Razak.

19. I believe that Malaysia needs a steady hand as PM. I have no doubt that person is Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah. Not only does he understand the economy, we also need a firm hand in dealing with the deadly c19 pandemic.

Bolehkan kita dipimpin dan bangkit dari krisis sekarang ni?

Is there a credible leader to lead us out of the current crisis?

Seorang pemimpin yang sedia diterima oleh semua golongan di Malaysia....

KULI KITA :

In 1975, as the Chairman of Petronas, Ku Li single-handedly brought the oil & gas giants (Exxon & Shell) to the negotiating table to RENEGOTIATE the terms of their Agreement with the Govt of Malaysia.
Backed by the Petroleum Development Act 1974, which he had helped craft, (most of which he “stolen shamelessly” from Indonesia and then perfected) he made these giants, our ‘Contractors’ (versus being Concessionaires) and made them accept 41% of the profits versus 95% of the Production.

I was then a young accountant with Exxon and was only allowed to sit at the back, as an observer/notetaker at the negotiations.
I watched in awe as he literally told Exxon that they are free to walk away, if it did not make business sense to them and that there were many others in the wings waiting to step into their shoes.

Exxon & Shell decided to play poker and walked away BUT 18 months later they came crawling back and accepted Ku Li’s terms in full!

The rest is, as they say, HISTORY.

This single act, made Malaysia what it is today, economically.

This fact has been wiped out from our history books by you know who ...

The Sacking Of Mahiadin And The Interim PM.

1. Some people gleefully say that the king cannot sack the PM. It's not provided for in the constitution. Mahathir they further say, removed that right in the 1990s.

2. You can say no and feel smugly comforted because you have cited the coup de grâce that snuffed out the yes-Mahathir's 1992 constitutional amendments.

3. Then you can join the bandwagon and say padan muka ini semua mamak kutty punya hal.

4. He was the one who removed the right to sack. You think you have demolished the arguments that say, yes, the king CAN sack the PM. Blame it all on Mamu Mahathir for not being able to.

5. You are not wrong-if you are answering an academic exam paper in consti.

6. Similarly, if you had answered, YES the king CAN sack the PM, you are also not wrong. It all depends on how cogent are your reasoning.

7. In the end it's up to the examiner evaluating the cogency of your arguments.

8. Similarly, I say, it's up to the King to evaluate the noes and the yesses.

9. How do the two positions measure up to:-a) whether it's justiciable to sack or not sack. B) the reasons you adduced and C) the necessity of sacking or not.

10. In my mind, you are guided by the need to remove the source of the mess and the necessity to overcome the grim impasse.

11. Based on the need to remove and necessity arguments, you conclude that the source of this mess is Mahiadin.

12. In an earlier article, I have cited the cases of Gough Whitlam and Zambri Kadir. To show that sacking is justiciable and justifiable.

13. There is a more recent case. It involved Mahathir himself.

14. In April 2020, because of the clearest of vision, he resigned.

15. That event, should be treated as an object lesson. What happened?

16. First, when Mamu Mahathir resigned, the entire cabinet resigned as per the constitution.

17. Wan Azizah was the DPM then. She did NOT take over Mamu. As per the constitution.

18. So you landlubbers, banish the thought that 'il duce' Ismail Sabri will take over Din Pagoh. That thought exists in the mind of the primus inter pares man only. In others, it exists as a wet dream.

19. Secondly, the king appointed an interim PM. But the previous administration's PM must first resign.

20. That was what the king did. He persuaded Puff Abah to resign, but the latter stubbornly stuck to his guns. He refused to resign, believing that he can command majority support.

21. Mahiadin may not have majority support now,but I said he can. He can entice the froggies.

22. Persuasion it seems, is possible only with a reasonable person. With an unreasonable and bull headed person like Mahiadin, the only option is to sack him!

23. The King will be reluctant to sack Wak Din,unless there is universal condemnation and revulsion against Wak Din.

24. So continue to write to the King, demonstate and fly the black and white flags. Heeding the wishes of the rakyat, the King will sack Din Pagoh.

25. In theory, its possible fo appoint Ismail Sabri. But the fellow has to resign first. And continue the reign of a failed goverment.

26. But appointing Ismail is too far fetched of an idea. He is too associated with the PN goverment and must share some of the responsibilities of the failed government.

27. Especially in the management of the covid pandemic, despite the many hare brained strategies and plans of the Mahi government.

28. So eliminating Ismail the court cluster and the boisterous Mamu Anwar, the only person of interest, fit and able to lead this country as interim PM is Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah.

29. Then, choose him. The King should be guided only by one consideration. Is choosing Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah good for the people and the country?

Who's Confused?

1. Komissar Shahril Hamdan the umno Disinformation chief has criticized Ku Li for working with the opposition. The opposition is Dr Mahathir.

2. Ku Li's action has confused the people he said. Ku Li breaches party discipline he declared.

3. I am sure Ku Li is trembling. Will there be consequences?

4. Or will it be a case of much thunder little rain? And UMNO be the cuckold husband destined to just watch?

5. In Malay narrative, once you unsheathed the kris you must stab your adversary.

6. Just what can
UMNO do? If it does nothing, by default, it proves the present UMNO is in shambles. It's headed by a leader who is running around like a headless chicken. It does nothing but make the customary noise to show it has got self-esteem. Good for the pundits you know.

7. Will the
UMNO information chief does something ballsy like sacking kul li or shut the f**k up?

8. Perhaps it's an opportune time for Ku Li to leave the present
UMNO and form a new UMNO 46 comprising of purists.

9. The present
UMNO is full of shit. It's a party that expounds xenophobic nationalism, accepts religious extremism, practises kakistocracy(rule by the worst) and perpetuates corruption and the rule of kleptocrats.

10. Within umno theres no room for honest dissent or difference in opinion. A komissar like the umno information chief will want only regimentation.

11. It's typical for
UMNO to treat people as dumb digits not capable of understanding what Ku Li intends to do. It's part of UMNO's dumbing down of the people. As a result UMNO says people are confused

12. The only people who are confused, are
UMNO dullards like the UMNO information chief and people who subscribe to UMNO's kakistocracy.

13. I have got news for shahril-the people are not confused. They are aware of what Ku Li wants to do. Remove an illegitimate government. Its save the country first!

Rakyat Tak keliru Malah Sokong Ku Li.

Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah. Beyond the Myths.

1. The house at Bukit Chekati must have been greatly ravaged by the floods some time ago. It is by the river. Needless to say Ku Li must have put it right.

2. The country is now ravaged by political upheavals. TRH maybe the right person to put things right. He's got the right credentials.

3. Some people will say a nation is not like a house. But I know of many MPs who cannot walk and chew gum at the same time. Why can't I compare a house and the nation then?

4. Every Friday some close friends would congregate at his house for Friday prayers. Prayers are usually at a mosque in kampung Pandan. He would be driven in an old BMW 2002. He still keeps a black bulletproof Mercedes-Benz given him by the government amidst rumours that the CIA were out to assassinate him for having introduced the PDA.

5. He values the past and is well grounded to the contemporary and is tuned to the spiritual. A person who doesn't forget the past is likely not to repeat the mistakes therein.

6. That means he keeps tradition as long as it is functional. But he also submits to the inevitable, the spiritual omnipotence. If something has outlived its usefulness it is abandoned.

7. Perhaps we need that kind of person who keeps a balance, as PM. We have no need of a person likely to put us on a road of mindless revolution and reformasi. That balance is forged by useful experience and right temperament.

8. Every year during fasting month, without fail invited guests mostly friends, are invited for breaking fast and prayer sessions. Local imams or invited Arab imams lead the prayers. The congregation prays for Ku Li's continued success and health.

9. The presence of these people indirectly accorded Ku Li important lessons in life. Most notably trust because he has been betrayed and played out so many times. Never trust a person who has played you out more than 2 times. The first is a warning, the second is a bitter lesson and the third is just taking advantage. I am sure these observations do not escape the perceptive Ku Li. He has wizened up. He is 83 years old for God's sake.

10. It has taught him to be circumspect of the fickle minded person. This type of people are likely to give in to different opinions. These people are undependable. They have a see-saw character-more specifically the person on the opposite side who will dismount when you are on the way up and let you fall. Didn't Najib dismount when TRH was up and let him fall?

11. Yet in all my meetings with Ku Li, he has not spoken ill of the blasted Najib. Not even once. Or of anyone else for that matter.
Even during the heated issue of 1MDB. It made me wonder whether he has a soft spot on the son of Tun Razak.

12. I am limited in that respect. I will blast Najib or whoever I think deserves it in my blog. But I know to clam up in front of someone else.

13. Because TRH cannot trust someone who speaks ill of someone else in front of him because that fellow is likely to blabber about TRH infront of others.

14. An important lesson one learns from a study of people, is that you can't trust people with competitive streaks. They will seize the first oppurtunity to topple you.

15. TRH cannot trust people like Mustapa Mohamed who thinks he is PM material. He definitely can't trust Anuar Musa who is a legend in his own mind. And Sabery Chik? The nut who forgets its skin.

16. I can write on BMF, decoupling of the Malaysian Ringgit from the Singapore Dollar, his move to the Trade Ministry etc. But that would involve hurting the feelings of someone I respect and that of a close friend. So let others better than I do it.

17. Suffice to say at that time BBMB was under the purview of the then PM. The decoupling needed to be done to avoid spending huge amounts of money to remain on par with the Singapore Dollar. His move to the Trade Ministry was the prerogative of the PM. Furthermore, the then PM wanted to place a more palatable friend at the Finance Ministry. Anyway anything written by the CIA must be taken with a little pinch of salt.

18. The achievements of Ku Li are undisputed. How many know that he is the only Malaysian and Malay to be the chairman of the World Bank and IMF?

The PM we should have.

1. I have described Ku Li as the PM we never had. People forget that he has waited longer than Anwar Ibrahim to be the PM. He has been betrayed by many people and played out so many times. Many people were literally living off him. But he is too principled and forgiving to retaliate.

2. He is not regal because he is born into an aristocratic family. He is one because he behaves with propriety. He is defined by his conduct.

3. Has anyone seen how he treats his elder sisters and brothers? His nephews and nieces? They reciprocate by their genuine affection towards him. He treats them with filial piety.

4. He is MP of provincial Gua Musang in Kelantan. A few R&R, hotels and Kesedar. I am amazed Gua Musang has traffic lights. It has a large Police Camp. But how many know the idea of a Putrajaya originates from Gua Musang?

5. The idea of a Petronas, PDA, BBMB Bank Islam came from him. But no many know that he permitted the creation of bonded area for Malay car dealers. So that these bozos do not have to pay taxes until the cars are sold.

6. Do you know the land on which the UMNO HQ building sits was given by him?

7. Undoubtedly he has got Malay interests at heart. But he is no bigoted racist. He has many non-Malay friends. His idea of governing Malaysia is therefore eclectic.

8. When Wak Jahid says he didn't know of Ku Li's audience with the Agung, that tells me a few things. Chief, being that TRH tells UMNO on the need to know basis. He marches to the beat of his own drum. On the same reasoning it's not correct to say that he is Mahathir's proxy. To say so means you don't know TRH.

9. When Ku Li says that it's better for UMNO people to resign from PN it's a matter of principle. When you don't agree with the government its right that you resigned. Even he did not accept it when he was offered the post of advisor of Petronas. He resigned when he did not agree with Mahathir last time. It's a matter of honour.

10. Now he agrees with Mahathir on one thing. That Anwar Ibrahim should not be PM. That's not a crime. You can't force all people to agree with Anwar.

11. He doesn't have to explain himself to anybody. Those who agree with him do not need any, those who do not agree with him won't believe it. It's a catch 22 thing. So like the Italians say, forget about it!

12. When he met the Agong he is asking for the removal of any hurdles to a vote of no confidence. It's clear that Muhyi doesn't have the support of the majority of MPs. He's asking for the claims of anybody to be verified by Parliament.

13. Obviously he does not support Anwar. Anwar is not the solution to Malaysia's political impasse.

14. He may have been asked to give advice, and he has given so. It's befitting to ask of him as he is the longest serving MP. He has vast experience.

15. He may be or may not be the right person to helm the nation but the Agong can arrive at a judicious decision.

16. So for the prince who's trained as an economist in Belfast and who would have become a lawyer if not for his father's passing his time maybe now.

17. He's got the right temperament, his heart is in the right place, he's got Malay interests at heart, he's not a bigot, and he is not corrupt. He is PM material.
