Dear Sakmongkol

If only the important messages to the Malays could be conveyed to them differently, they might see the truth and rise up to throw out the corrupt and incompetent politicians who claim to work on their behalf.

Yesterday you talked about the dominance of government and its institutions by Malays and yet the Malays as a whole have not improved by the extent that the monopoly of power should have conferred. Instead a very small number of Malays and pseudo-Malays – the so-called Umnoputras – have prospered at their expense by abusing the power entrusted to them, and through blatant corrupt practices often in cahoots with non-Malay businessmen.

But this abuse of trust is covered up by the false message told to the unfortunate poor Malays that their lack of progress is due to the avarice of the Chinese: the Chinese are greedy, cliquish, selfish, unpatriotic. Has someone told the truth to the Malays? If it is true that the Chinese own a majority of this country’s wealth, it implies that the Chinese have created the majority of the national economic wealth, employed the most number of Malaysians outside the public sector (and this must mean many Malays are employed by the Chinese), and that the Chinese have paid the lion’s share of this country’s taxes, which are used to provide public services for the entire country of which the Chinese comprise just 22%.

People who pay taxes, create employment cannot possibly be bad or unpatriotic. This message must get out. Humans are by nature greedy. They want more and better things of all kinds – cars, houses, phones, TVs, medicine, clothes and food. That’s how humans have progressed, moving out of caves to embrace modernity. This greed - always striving to make things better, always trying to sell more, always trying to make a better widget - is often manifested by the businessman who is constantly trying to invent new products, expand his business and making more money. But he can only succeed if he had greedy customers who are never satisfied but want to consume more and better products and services. We humans are greedy by nature, and it has been to our good. If we had been perfectly happy with the status quo, we would still be living in caves. So let the message go out. We are all greedy, not just the Chinese, but no one told the Malays that.

Yes, we need to say things differently. But the truth should also be spoken. Only then would new thinking emerge.

This is called 'MARKETING'.

Using some 'catchy phrase' to entice the Givers.

Beneath our various ethnicity, lies our charitable Hearts which can feel the pulse of the 'unfortunate'.

God Bless ALL.

Dato Sak
What can I say...well done! This is the way forward man. Change the words and not the problems

But how do you say it differently, any hope ahh to that nincompoop, that village idiot who now demands 67% bumi quota for PSD scholarship when all these while for decades now, it had been over 90%, no?

I don't think he realises that in order for that to happen, most contribution that came from pendatangs who pay the most taxes in this country had enabled this racist big mouth some decent education otherwise he will still be in his kampong tanam jagong.

DON'T MESS UP MASS MEDIA - 290511

Let's pray and hope that the known mass media
Will not be twisted and turned into "mess media"
Where journalistic values are no longer dear
When they have desperate media owners to fear
