All the president's men. Part 3. Tales by an unknown blogger. No. 88
1. In case many of the PKR people forget, the main thrust of the party is reformasi. It is that propels the party forward .
2. The foremost is reformasi. It isn't just a slogan you get to shout at gatherings .
3. Madani came after. When you get power. Then you can shout about madani untill blue in the face
4. This government is first and foremost a reformasi government. The PKR people appointed as ministers and deputy ministers in particular must prefix and predicate all their policies to include reformasi agenda.
5. We don't want the PKR people be drunk and intoxicated with power. The edifying effects of being drunk with power can blunt the reformasi zeal.
6. I hope I am wrong; we don't want the PKR ministers think that because they are umbrella-protected and sheltered by brother Anwar, they can now do the excesses of the previous regimes. God forbid!
7. They become precisely the characters they once despised; the oppressed becomes the oppressor. They become what Franz fanon warned us. Instead of change , it's more of the same
8. The PKR people become stealthier penyakau, more skillful crooked business dealers, poker-faced contracts leakers and more adept abusers. They add to the estimated rm55b Malaysia loses to corruption yearly.
9. I call these people, the reformasi -less characters, people who actually don't know or have forgotten the meaning of reformasi . They deserved to be side stepped in the PKR elections .
10. Indeed, to these people, reformasi are just slogan shouts at gatherings. Out shouting the next fellow is a good show .
11. Let's see the characters who faked the reformasi agenda but in reality perpetuate the illusion of reformasi.
12. Their conduct will either fortify or dissipate the political longevity of Nana non. Yes, their conduct will contribute to Anwar being able to continue as PM or be a one trick pony .
13. We want them to always ask, where is the reformasi element to the agenda and program I am about to implement?
14. When the education minister saw a young man registering at a U carrying his belongings in a sack, she took pity on him and bought him bags .
15. That was very nice of her..she displayed the US democratic limousine liberalism caring for the unfortunates. Good show!
16. But that's hardly extraordinary. A more savvy UMNO politician would make it a more huge spectacle - for publicity purposes.
17. She's doing more of the same- upgrading schools, painting them, upgrading toilets etc- all money making schemes and enriching chosen lucky ones. 18. Phasing into a portfolio, means for some people opputunies to become more intelligent and stealthier penyakau, to carry out more crooked deals, contract leakers and power abusers.
19. Of course it's not the education minister - she's an honourable person. But we can't say the same about the Malay officers in the moe right? Where's there a 95% probability of them being corrupt kan?
20. But we ask, where is the freaking element of reformasi in all these? Certainly not in being a more intelligent and stealthier penyakau, authors of croocked deals, contact leakers and power abusers.
21..I am not going to be soft on females. You know females can be as voracious as males when it comes to money.
22. It would be better and reformasi if she addresses the falling standards of teaching.
23. When some Malay pricks fouled up pronunciation of both English and Malay terms, you know they are either stupid or worse, the standards of teaching have deteriorated.
24. That should be more of a concern to the education minister, rather than giving prominence to limousine liberal's pity for others ( often fake).
25. When people on social media start pronouncing dateline as dateleener, Malaysia gazette as Malaysia gazatay, Ng kor Meng as Angie Komen,Nasution as nasushiyon, DAP as da-arp, Malay words UMNO as oomno, peguambela where the 'bearla' becomes bela ayam dan kambing, you know the standard of teaching has gone south.
26. That should worry the education minister more than being concerned as to whether people see you as kind or not.
27. You are in power now,
why don't you do something about domestic brain drain that's going on unchecked. Doing something while in power is often the question asked by the PM. So do something reformasi.
28. Imagine students with really excellent results cannot enter faculties of their choosing. Because some bureaucrats somewhere decide the quota for type M is not enough while the quota for type non M is more than enough .
29. Eventually we as a society will lose our because our best talents are drained elsewhere because of some bureaucratic social and political constructs.
30. That, I put it to you my friends, constitutes domestic brain drain, I am talking about.
31. To do something more reformasi, if she is ballsy enough, is to remove race based quota for university entrance.
32. That policy may be relevant 20 years ago. Now it's not relevant. Malays ought to competitive and bold enough .
33. Why doesn't she make Arabic and mandarin languages compulsory up to forms 5 level? Arabic is the spiritual language for Muslims and learning mandarin signals recognition that china is the future. Don't listen to Malay supremacists in this
34. At the moment, the idiotic fave is to make the wearing of jalur gemilang stickers mandatory for students. That's hardly reformasi. Some suppliers will make money. Hopefully they get the jalur gemilang right. Or else, they too will get sin chew jit pohised.
35. Of course they will make more money making stickers with seductive picture of Rose Chan on them.
36. The education ministry is such an important one responsible for moulding the character of our children. It can I'll afford a limousine liberal helming it . It requires a person with a reformasi state of mind heading it.
To be continued.....
