To hope would be hope for the wrong thing. TS Elliot. Sontoloyo series no. 20.

1. It's just hilarious and laughable. There was a picture. Irascible tajudin rahman advising akmal the terrible.

2. One ancient fascist to a young fascist. One ancient incorrigible person to a young but already an incorrigible person.

3. Perhaps with a background fascist song, melayu Uber alles

4. The ancient fascist made a self serving claim .

5. There is still hope for UMNO.

6. My immediate response are passages from T.S. Elliott.

7. I said to my soul, be still and wait without hope. For to hope would be hope for the wrong thing .

8. So the darkness be the light, the stillness be the dancing . TS Elliot, wait without hope.

9. That unilateral and unchallenged claim is both patronising and condescending. Typical of bossy tajuddin.

10. It's patronising because UMNO erroneously believe it's the patron, the Malays it's ward.

11. Hence it believes it has the right to protect the Malays.

12. Funny thing is, PAS and bersatu believed the same.

13. Which means, the belief that protecting and championing Malay interests, is up for grabs by anyone.

14. It's used as political capital only .

15. The claim is condescending because it believes that UMNO is the dirty. The Malays are subservients and votary .

16. The Malays must dedicate themselves to UMNO.

17. The way UMNO looks at this world,it's weltanshauung as it were, defies the charter of a freeman.

18. UMNO may see itself as omnipotent, onniprescient and all other similar omnis, but we know, the people know, it's just a collection of members with shared views.

19. UMNO is not an entity that is over and above the free man . It's not a giver and grantor of gifts and privileges.

20..it's not a God nor a deity or an oberfuhrer that must be followed and obeyed blindly .

21. The goals and objectives UMNO sets, must reflect the goals and objectives, the people desire.

22. But conceited UMNO behaves typically on the principle, the whole is bigger than the sum of its parts.

23. UMNO is the whole. The people, the free man, all now are relegated to 'hoi polloi' . UMNO now sets the agenda. The people obey and follow.

24. This lopsided relationship is at odds with the charter of the free man.

25. The free man- the ordinary UMNO members, ask what can they do, working through the government, to discharge their responsibilities and achieve their goals and objectives?.

26. Sadly under UMNO, they have not been taught to discharge their responsibilities and therefore their goals and objectives remain stunted.

26b. They have not because they are being spoonfed from cradle to grave. Because of that they cannot take charge of their life .

27. UMNO's hidden agenda is to make the Malays dependent on it.

28. As I said, this kind of relationship is against the charter of the free man.

29. The free man takes charge of his life. He knows that he is responsible for his life. He picks himself up by his own bootstraps.

30. Others who are not UMNO people already know of UMNO's hidden agenda. They stay away from UMNO to avoid becoming miserable zombies.

31. We must always ask ourselves, what can we do to prevent UMNO from becoming a Frankenstein and an ogre messing up our lives?

32. The answer is: don't vote UMNO.

33. As people now become more politically aware, UMNO becomes a poor choice.

34. So, to answer the old fascist, tell him UMNO has no hope and no future . He's giving bad advice to the young fascist.

35. Astonishingly, UMNO doesn't want malays to progress and doesn't understand the Malay mind.

36. It wants the Malays to be dependent on them for their succour. By keeping the Malays in constant state of deprivation, UMNO succeeds in making malays dependent on it for their succour.

37. If UMNO were a person, what a despicable person he is.

38. In my mind, the person who actually understands the Malay mind and wants him to become a free man was Zaaba.

39. Yes, I am talking about the chap from batu kikir ,negeri sembilan who in his early teens already read the poems of Longfellow.

40. Quoting much of Longfellow, Zaaba reminds the Malays thus:-

41. " Life is real! Life is earnest! And the grave is not it's goal Not enjoyment and not sorrow Is our destined end or way But to act that each tomorrow Find us farther than today ."

42. Let me end this article with an Italian anti fascist song.
