Wak J and UMNO's imagined comeback . Devil's advocate series 49.

1. Many have heard of the following idioms. Don't count your chickens before they are hatched. Pride comes before the fall .

2. The Malays also have a saying. Mendengar guruh di langit, ayer di tenpayan di buangkan.

3. Many saw wak J raised his hand , fist clenched as though savoring victory already

4. Or just showboating in defiance.

5. The not so bright are always doing that. They have fools as audience.

6. For God sake, the Javanese neanderthal is applying leave from the federal court challenging the bar council's suit at the HC.

7. Its asking big brother court to correct the mistake of little brother court. Assuming little brother court has indeed erred.

8. But more damagingly, it gave the impression that wak J has got the FC justices in his pocket.

9. The judiciary ought not countenance such arrogance

10. His lawyers may advanced all the shyster arguments for him to win. I am inadequate to delve into the matter.

11. But people are watching. And they are saying something is unusual and maybe an abuse of procedure.

12. The trial at the HC has not even started, wak J is asking the FC to snuff it out

14. Wasn't it lord denning who said that if you leave everything to the technical legal experts, things can get topsy turvy . Common sense must temper it.

15. The worse thing, it may even suggest that the whole of the judiciary is in the pockets of UMNO. Upright justices will take exception to that.

16. It's fata viam invenient or quid quid erit,erit, alea iacta esto.

17. Some people have ascribed to wak J extraordinary attributes. Because of that they say UMNO is on the rise.

18. Wak J has scammed brother Anwar. The pupil has outsmarted the teacher

20. Hoi, it's not a case of Larry summers being smarter than his uncle, Paul sammuelson.

21. They point to UMNO's 14 ministerial posts despite having only 26 seats. Juicy GLC appointments and thousand of ketua kampungs.

22. Those, people take as signs that UMNO is on the rise

23. Admittedly I take that as a mistake on brother Anwar's part. Inviting the enemy to share power with you.
24. Perhaps it is hubris and overconfidence on his part.

25. But hold your horses, UMNO. You have been listening too much to your 5th columnists cytros telling you UMNO can win

26. Mat Hassan says UMNO can win in N9, fat Albert says it can win melaka and onn Hafiz says wak J agreed he goes solo -to the grave

27. The GE is technically 2 years away, enough time for Anwar to throw a spanner in the works

28. Don't ever think that Anwar couldn't read of wak J's machinations. Hes not sitting down like a statue

29. The concessions given by Anwar to UMNO are just icing on the cake to lull UMNO into complacency.

30. UMNO will choke in its own vomit

31. 60 over years of UMNO misrule can't be erased within 5 years, not with UMNO's continuing mediocrity

32. People don't see Adolf akmal as a hired gun but as a loose Cannon that's damaging UMNO

33. UMNO is quiet on rafizi's exit from PKR for a reason.

34. Rafizi is also a dagger to the heart of UMNO

35. It's not that Rafizi hates PKR less, but he hates UMNO more.

36. As to UMNO believing it's making a comeback, Willy Anwar has a few tricks up his sleeves.
