A Leader and his Leadership
The problem with most people, is that they equate leader with leadership. The lesson we learnt from Pak Lah’s as a leader is, leadership does not come automatically with a person’s ascension.
Pak lah is a personable fellow. Sakmongkol has been critical of him at times but he has also admitted that Pak Lah is a personable fellow. It is his leadership that Sakmongkol takes issue.
Hence, Dato Najib’s coming ascension is no cause for premature celebration. Because, it does not follow that one’s rise as a leader, will bring along with it the much needed leadership.
Thus people assume that when Pak Lah exits, our troubles are over. Many appear happy that Najib is taking over. Perhaps, that’s a case of misplaced exuberance? We will have to wait and see.
The main issue is we are looking for leadership. Enough of leaders. Enough of more shadow to the substance, more thunder than rain.

With so much baggage on him and the unresolved murder mystery seemingly related to him, he doen't have the whole hearted trust of the people at large. His ascension doesn't auger well for Malaysia.
Hopefully another better leader will rise to give the post of PM of Malaysia more respect and trust.

Hear, hear! ;-)
Leaders and leadership. Default ascension aginst fair competition. I think if UMNO really want to change they would do well with starting afresh. Intitute a formal presidents dialog ala American presidential debate. Let the capable people argue their points, their vision and promises. All these default things will only stifle healthy growth and bring back old self serving politics.
The again, idealistic dreams against reality. In all likelyhood, DSNR will ascend to the high throne and the rest will fall in line to kiss his hand.
Bro, your first cousin Datuk Rozlan Abdul Rahman of SPPH is the strongest supporter of Datuk Najib. He will do anything to protect Datuk Najib. Are you willing to lose your first cousin in your effort to crush Datuk Najib?

how very true.
whether it is a political party or a corporation they always failed to take cognizance of the Peter Principle that "In a Hierarchy Every Employee Tends to Rise to His Level of Incompetence."
just becos someone been there for the last decade and have been loyal doesnt mean he/she has what it takes to lead.
but then the story of why AAB was given the lead role was well documented in the blogsphere isnt it? He is only supposed to warm the seat, follow orders and nothing else.
prob start when AAb start to think that he can actually do the job and instead of following the plan he deviated and alas found himself losing control of the plots.
lesson to be learnt - we must know our capability especially if we must swim with the sharks.
In every part of life, we are leaders. We make decisions. We affect others. We want to accomplish goals. There are people in every part of our respective lives who look to us for help, for guidance, or for direction. If our leadership is merely to enrich our family and associates, the time will come when every single action will be questioned by god. It mustn't be in the afterlife but while we are here breathing. So don't stop blogging Sakmongkol and all great bloggers, many truth will surface sooner or later. Don't let AAB leaves his position peacefully. Let him answerable to all his past actions.
(nak muntah tengok pak lah pegang michelle yeaoh, leadership?)
