Poor UMNO Disciplinary Board.
That Ali Rustam was barred from contesting wasn't the news that some people were waiting. They wanted to hear that KJ is excluded from contesting. He is the son of a gun. He is the MAN. Ali Rustam is big news to his supporters only. It is KJ these people want to have pinned down. By the way, before Muhyiddin's people uncork their Dom Perignon to celebrate, please take note of the following:- From the 15 people hauled up and punished are 4 serving wakil rakyats from Paya Besar , Kuantan, Pahang. These people were campaigning for Ali Rustam. The group is led by Dato Manan Ismail who is a dyed in the wool DS Najib's supporter. If we were to cut him into 18 pieces, the blood dripping on the ground will spell N-A-J-I-B. They coordinate their operations with JJ. So go figure, which candidate DS Najib actually prefers as his Deputy President? As to KJ, I hear things like these at my blog and elsewhere. KJ is guilty but allowed to contest. What is your opinion on that, Sir? To UMNO Youth members reading this and who will be voting for their new president this coming Tuesday, reject KJ or forever hold your fucking piece! The way I see it only Mukhriz Mahathir has that semblance of a new echelon Malay leader who is free from all sorts of allegations. Have you heard Mukhriz being implicated in any scandals or bad rumours? "KJ BECOMES UMNO YOUTH CHIEF DESPITE BEING GUILTY OF MONEY POLITICS" And I also saw this:- KJ is corrupt and he is contesting... He is contesting for the highest position in Pemuda UMNO. The BIG question here is... will UMNO and its Pemuda allow KJ 'the corrupt' to win this contest? This will be a big blow to UMNO... Till the next UMNO election... you will be carrying on your shoulder KJ 'the corrupt' chief. Will you guys allow that? Which all serve to fortify my conviction and belief that KJ will win this contest, God willing. We have many other broadsides lamenting that no sterner action was taken against KJ. Let me try to answer the most common accusation being bandied around. The UMNO D-Board is practicing double standard. KJ is the PM's son in law that is why he is being treated lightly. My answer is if the board does indeed practice double standard, than the likeliest approach is to NOT call KJ at all or if called, exonerate him completely and absolutely. The fact that KJ is called before the board proves that the board does not practice double standard. Indeed, the board can be said to operate beyond external influence when it exonerates Khir Toyo. The fact that KT got scot -free does not mean he does not engage in money politics. I am surprised he got away. The fact remains however, the board operates on facts available before them. Further, the fact that only KJ and Ali Rustam were the big fish hauled up and punished goes to show that people are working overtime volunteering to submit the facts against them. This argument that KJ is the son in law of the PM is overused and it is tired of being treated as the scapegoat. KJ was practically a loner immediately after Pak Lah announced his willingness to step down and hand over powers to DS Najib. The long knives were already out and if anyone cares to remember, people were asking, could KJ ever get sufficient nominations? He did and because he was able to, people quickly assumed that this must be the spill over for being the PM's son in law. Since then, the fact remains KJ has to work his butts out to secure nominations and win delegates over. People seem to forget that once Pak Lah agreed to relinquish power all semblance of loyalty towards him became fluid commodity tradable in the UMNO market. The loyalty moves to the highest bidder and the new powers to be. That being the case, how is it possible for KJ to even get a small morsel of support from those who are migrating en masse towards Pekan? My point is: don't insult our intelligence by using this old, tired and worn out factor of Pak Lah's residual influence. It has all but emigrated to Najibland. We then have the jackpot of a question. Have anyone heard of Mukriz being tainted? Therefore Mukhriz must be the only one qualified to be the Ketua Pemuda. Mukhriz is not tainted simply means his adversaries aren't working round the clock to do him in. He is not tainted simply because Anas the ATM machine is standing in for him. He is also not tainted because he does nothing. I have been hearing this joke being replayed quite often recently. Why is the Malay brain more expensive that brains of others? Answer: because it is hardly used. It seems to apply aptly of Mukhriz. Question: why is Mukhriz not tainted? Answer: because he hardly does anything of significance. If anyone were to be stranded in Mukhrizland- he would say, Mr Scotty- beam me up, no sign of life down here.

If Khir Toyo is clean, why bring up his name at all during the press conference; add to that the MSM higlighted that KT had been cleared of any corruption (money politics). Why was he special? Why wasn't it mentioned that Azalina, Norza, M2Taib and the rest have also been cleared of all charges?

There was this notion that the Management Committee had intervened to moderate the kind of action to be taken against Khairy Jamaluddin. The Disciplinary Board does not refer to the Management Committee. I shall explain.
Three issues
i) Personalities to he hauled up
ii) Question of when it happened..
iii) When do you convene the hearing?
When the Disciplinary Board chose the personalities to be summoned, did they refer to the Management Committee? Certainly not. It would be easier for the party president, if he indeed meddles in the workings of the Disciplinary Board to get them not to open a file on Khairy Jamaluddin. Manage the situation at source. But there was a file, and he was called up.
Was there a report at all against Mukhriz? He never did violate any of the offences? Not even a suspicion? If they were such a report, then, the Disciplinary Board made a judgment call, that being - no need to convene a hearing on Mukhriz. May be the case was not overwhelming. May be there was not enough evidence. Then the attendant question would be why chose Khir and Khairy Jamaluddin, but not Mukhriz?
To ensure justice all three should have been scrutinised. Was Mukhriz thoroughly investigated? Was this a case of a double standard?
Then you go to the nature of offences, that fall broadly within election rules. Of the many reports that landed on the desk of the Disciplinary Board, you decide on the offences you would investigate.
When do you make the decision, then? Why was someting that allegedly happened long before the divisional elections took place only came up days before Perhimpunan Agong? How much time did the investigators need to wrap up their work? Really this fall firmly within the realm of the Disciplinary Board. They must have justifiable reasons.
The point is as these judgment calls were being conceived, when and how did Khairy Jamaluddin secure an unfair advantage over Mukhriz and Khir Toyo?

I think there should not be a double standard in punishment for the same type of offence. KJ should be barred as well. Otherwise give him a clean slate like KT.
Talking about double standard, let's compare Isa Samad punishment with that of Ali. Both involved money but Isa lost everything and plus few yrs suspension. Ali just lost his chance to get at the Dep Pres post, that's all. Everything else are intact.
I presume that you are well read and well informed in local politics. However I would like to suggest that you read Khairy Chronicles written RPK when he was 'sober' then. Try rebutting the part involving fixing Isa Samad when KJ wanted to set his political footing in NS. I believe there are some truth in that writing.
Until then, I consider KJ as a pest in umno. I am not a member of any political party.

Dato', KJ personifies everything that is wrong with UMNO now, the very fact that he is found guilty of money politics but not punished means that UMNO condones money politics, just depend on whose side you are on.
If KJ gets elected and Mat Taib or Ali Rustam(if his appeal is successful) ever gets elected in the coming UMNO election, there is ONLY one word for UMNO and it is spelled D O O M.
Mukhriz memberi RM15 ribu kepada 5 orang anggota jenteranya di Johor diketuai oleh KP Simpang Renggam Oya. Perwakilan Melaka pula ditampar RM200 seorang. Di Kelantan, pemberian wang dikendalikan oleh bekas NKP Kuala Pilah Nafiz yang tinggal di Kota Bharu untuk tempoh berkempen ini, dan orang luar ini dibantu perwakilan Rantau Panjang Wan Nasir dan Sazmi Miah KP Machang yang tidak diterima di Bahagiannya sendiri.
Yang pasti kepala Agong akan mula kerap bertukar tangan di antara ejen Mukhriz dan perwakilan. Selain cara biasa, modus operandi pelik Mukhriz akan bertanya perwakilan apa sebarang 'masalah kewangan' dan terus mengarahkan pegawai baruanya Anas untuk memasukkan wang terus ke akaun bank perwakilan.
Hipokrasi Mukhriz yang kononnya tak mahu membayar secawan kopi perwakilan pun kerana ianya merupakan rasuah. Dengan lantang dan tidak menghormati sumbangan dan pengorbanan perwakilan, Mukhriz pernah berkata mengenai kaedah menggunakan dana politik untuk menghargai perwakilan, "Rakyat sukar untuk menerima pemimpin yang terpilih secaraamalan terkeji tersebut". Terkeji? Jadi perwakilan yang menerima wang pun terkejilah? Tapi yang paling penting, mengapa setelah menggambarkan amalan ini sebagai 'terkeji' Mukhriz pula kini yang mahu menggunakan wang sebanyak-banyaknya? Hai, sudah lah lantang tak bertempat, hipokrit juga!
Saya menyokong penuh Mukhriz untuk jawatan ketua setiausaha kementerian kebajikan...supaya beliau boleh di didik dalam menangani kepayahan orang kampung sebelum beliau boleh bermimpi untuk menjadi Ketua Pemuda.
Apa yang pelik, Dr. Mahathir yang bukan lagi ahli parti, berkempen untuk membantu anaknya Datuk Mukhriz bertanding kerusi Ketua Pergerakan Pemuda. Belum ada bukti yang Dr. Mahathir bertunggu tangga berkempen, tetapi khabarnya dia sibuk menjalankan tugas berkempen bagi menjamin anaknya menang.
Janganlah! Cukuplah. Umno sudah begitu teruk ditinggalkan selepas 22 tahun dia menjadi Presiden. Bukan main ramai pemimpin Umno yang dicantasnya ketika dia mahu mengekalkan kedudukannya. Dia akan berpaut dengan sesiapa sahaja kalau dia mahu terus kuat. Tun Ghafar Baba (Allahyarham) antara orang yang 'dicapai dan digayutnya' untuk dia berdepan dengan serangan Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah dan Tun Musa Hitam (Datuk ketika itu).
Pemuda Umno, mungkin terfikir kehebatan Dr. Mahathir selama 22 tahun menjadi Perdana Menteri, kini diwarisi anaknya Mukhriz. Tetapi, mereka yang tahu meniliai, mustahil boleh meneirma Mukhriz yang tidak tahu apa mengenai Pemuda untuk memimpin sayap parti ini.
Tidak keterlaluan jika dikatakan, tujuan Mukhriz menyertai pertandingan ini hanya kerana dia mahu menjadi pembela bapanya yang sudah keluar dari Umno. Mukhriz siang dan malam berucap untuk membertahu orang ramai, kekalahan BN di Kedah kerana Umno dan BN tidak tahu menghargai Dr. Mahathir.

Ingat, suatu ketika Jerlun pernah terlepas ke tangan pembangkang. Nasib baiklah, dalam pilihan raya 2004, Ketua Umno Bahagian Jerlun, Datuk Abdul Rahman Ariffin berjaya merampas kembali kerusi itu dari tangan Pas.

Tidak mustahil Lembaga Disiplin ditekan oleh orang tertentu.

I can vouch for my self that whoever wins the KP this coming election be it KJ, MM or KT, I will support him as long as he can fulfill our aspiration as normal people in UMNO. However at this moment I support MM.

I am not surprised that you guys bicker over your preferred candidate. Let's not make a bigger fuss than it should've been. KJ, KT and MM, whoever wins, must be supported 110%. I really hate it when people turn their backs on candidates they don't prefer, especially when all of them are fighting the same cause.

Kalau Khairy menang ketua pemuda, Anwar adalah orang yang pertama akan 'hentak kepala' kerana Anwar tahu kewibawaan Khairy selain mengetahui keberanian anak muda ini yang bukan mudah ditentang.

I heard many of Umno Youth will resign as members of Umno if the so called and arrogant KJ is the leader... I think thats extremely self contradictory, because the writer himself figured out how influential this blog actually is, and sensing that engaged in a classic childish 'defence mechanism' by attacking the blog as opposed to trying to rebut any of Dato's many points.

I think there should not be a double standard in punishment for the same type of offence. KJ should be barred as well. Otherwise give him a clean slate like KT.
Talking about double standard, let's compare Isa Samad punishment with that of Ali. Both involved money but Isa lost everything and plus few yrs suspension. Ali just lost his chance to get at the Dep Pres post, that's all. Everything else are intact.
I presume that you are well read and well informed in local politics. However I would like to suggest that you read Khairy Chronicles written RPK when he was 'sober' then. Try rebutting the part involving fixing Isa Samad when KJ wanted to set his political footing in NS. I believe there are some truth in that writing.
Until then, I consider KJ as a pest in umno. I am not a member of any political party.

I can vouch for my self that whoever wins the KP this coming election be it KJ, MM or KT, I will support him as long as he can fulfill our aspiration as normal people in UMNO. However at this moment I support MM.

Kali ini kedai kopi cyber kita buka sampai hampir pukul 3 pagi. Bagus lah, kita berbincang, kita masyarakat bebas.
Saya ha nya mahu yang tidak korap jadi pemimpin kita. Negara2 banyak lingkup, masakan masyarakat2 pupus dalam sejarah akibat rasuah. Pada hal kita mahu hidup 1,000 tahun lagi. Saya tak tahu macam mana boleh dapat pemimpin yang tidak korap dan ada wibawa jujur/ integriti. Di negeri China rasuah bawa hukum mati tapi masih ada satu menteri buat rasuah dan telah di hukum mati tak lama dahulu.
Kalau idealism itu tak boleh timbul dan tak mungkin boleh dapat yang 100% tak korap, mungkin yang tak ketara sangat korap nya. Tapi so'al ketara atau tidak ini jadi masaelah. Kita tak tahu butir2 lanjut yang di guna Lembaga Disiplin membuat keputusan.
Sudah korap sangat parti hingga tak tahu sabenar nya siapa yang membuat tuduhan, kumpulan mana, tujuan apa, apa bukti2 di gunakan dan sebagai nya. 900 tuduhan atau komplen, berapa kerat sahaja yang di kenakan tindakan disiplin.
Kawan2 sekelian, boleh kah kita hidup 1,000 tahun lagi? Ingat, masyarakat Melayu Sri Vijaya, rumpun Melayu Majapahit, Kesultanan Melayu Melaka sudah lenyap, lebur. Saya percaya banyak di sebabkan rasuah - dalam berbagai bentuk yang berlainan di dahulu kala.
Sekarang saya jarang lihat komen2 anti-rasuah yang boleh di katakan dari akar umbi. Apa kah sebab banyak komplen Lembaga D tidak ambil tindakan? Apa kah sebab akar umbi pun sudah bergelumuran dengan politik wang?
Tolong lah kawan2. Mari lah kita berusaha supaya boleh hidup 1,000 tahun lagi. Tolong lah hapuskan rasuah.
saya berasa sedih untuk KJ..sedih kerana sepanjang pembabitannya dalam politik..kebanyakkan startegi yg diatur makan tuan..
menggunakan kawan-kawannya dalam nst dengan menggelar tun m sebagai dubuk tua jadi strategi makan tuan..mahathir bukan dubuk atau singa sarkis pencen.orang nama mahathir ini ditetak 1000 kali pun belum tentu akan mati.
membantu anwar ibrahim dengan menyerahkan pasportnya selepas dibebaskan juga jadi strategi makan tuan.anwar kini bermaharaja lela, menubuhkan kerajaan di 5 negeri.
menggunakan media mengutuk khir toyo sepanjang pemerintahannya di selangor juga strategi makan tuan..bukan hanya khir toyo yang tumbang..tetapi seluruh selangor..
begitu juga dengan perancangannya untuk memastikan khir toyo tidak dibenarkan bertanding selaku kp...jadi strategi makan tuan...
memilih manusia bernama kj pula menandakan pemuda umno memilih strategi makan diri...

Melayu boleh hidup 1,000 tahun lagi. Kalau tak ada orang beri negeri saperti Spura kapada kaum pendatang, lepaskan Batu Putih, benarkan kapal terbang tentera asing guna lapangan udara Johor dan sebagai nya.
Parti memerintah boleh tukar, kemudian tukar lagi, tapi jangan cebiskan negara ini lagi. Saya akan sumpahkan siapa buat demikian.
Dari zaman Hang Tuah sampai sekarang sudah 600 tahun. Salepas Melaka, Kesultanan Melayu telah berterusan di Johor, Pahang, dll. Kita telah jadi Persekutuan Tanah Melayu, Malay-a, dan sekarang Malay-sia. Dari sekarang pun kita boleh hidup 1,000 tahun lagi. Tapi UMNO mesti pilih orang yang bagus. Kita tengok Perhimpunan tak lama lagi.
Saya setuju Lembaga Displin mesti ambil tindakan lebih dan berterusan.
