Nerds of the world, Unite! in Celebration of mat bangkai
The blogger who goes by the call sign of Mat Bangkai has been complaining recently on his loss of sex appeal. That loss he claims has been further accentuated by his purchase of a real nerdy pair of specs. Which he affectionately calls them, his Buddy Holly spectacles.
To join in the celebration of mat bangkai as a nerd who seems to have lost his sex appeal, sakmongkol offers the following nerdy joke. Just hope MB will not do as the nerd does. Haha. That would be an embarrassment to men.
A nerd was walking on campus one day when his friend, another nerd, rode up on an incredible shiny new bicycle.
The first nerd was stunned and asked, "Where did you get such a nice bike?"
The second nerd replied, "Well, yesterday I was walking home minding my own business when a beautiful woman rode up to me on this bike.
She threw the bike to the ground, took off all her clothes and said, 'Take what you want!'"
The second nerd nodded approvingly and said, "Good choice. The clothes probably wouldn't have fit."

I suspect Mat B is not so nerdy as to pass up on such a "wide open" chance. But after the "deed" he would've still taken the bike :D

In a way, De Minimis is right. Not too long ago, after taking the girl, I'd definitely take the bike (did you know I was a former national mountain biking coach) as well - together with the girl's clothes (as proof/trophies).
But these days, I'd be lucky if a girl with a bike (or any girl, for that matter)came anywhere near me!

in a perverse way [after i picked myself up from the floor yesterday and dared another look], i found those frames quite sexy.

Whoa.. this posting is such a radical departure from the norm from Sakmongkol.. and I love it just as much!
Don't know about other ladies (of same vintage or otherwise) but I somehow feel that the older a man gets, the more sex appeal he has.. the paunch and bald patch do hve their attraction..
