UMNO's own The End of History.

It is already happening. The people in the mainstream media and `mainstream new media’ do not have a clue about what is happening. They are seeing ghosts at every corner. UMNO is in total disarray. In desperate times, UMNO resorts to desperate measures.
UMNO knows the Malay mindset. They know Malays have got this addiction with horror stories, sex and other bizarre tales. That is why readership of the Mastika Magazine far outstrips that of Utusan Malaysia. In Utusan Malaysia, only two pieces of news are true; (1) the Islamic prayer times and (2) 4 digit numbers. Can it be that more Malays now patronize the gaming shops? Everything else in Utusan are lies and deceit.
So now they concentrate on the horror of horrors- anything else will die with the demise of UMNO. The hard truth is- If UMNO dies, the ones who will suffer most will be the parasitic leeches and the anointed rent seekers, the license Rajs, the UMNO 007s who are given licenses to plunder and steal and the corrupt politicians. It’s the end of civilization. But it’s the end of the plundering civilization as UMNO knows it.
Let me hasten to comfort Malays and Malaysians- nobody dies if UMNO goes under. Especially not the Malays. The tide and ebb of Malays do not absolutely depend on UMNO. We progress through education and through our efforts. The government, any government is merely an instrument by and through which we achieve common objectives for the public good. We are done with a government that sets off one section of the citizen against another section of the rakyat based on religion and race. And we must kick out a government that declares war on us but embrace lovingly abuses of power, corruption and thievery.
Malays will liberate their minds from the yoke of the unholy alliance between the feudalists and Malay bourgeoisie. By the Malay bourgeoisie I mean the class of Malays who have misappropriated the wealth creation means of this country through their hold on political power and impoverished the people in that process.
All they can see are overtures by some political parties courting some former political personalities into their fold. Hence we hear news that PKR is courting some former UMNO heavyweights and PAS is inviting some former high ranking government officers to contest under their banner in the next general elections. That is only the beginning.
The entry of these people isn’t a cause for worry, the UMNO men say. These are washed up individuals and frustrated people. We like it when they regard us like that, because then, it will not be a problem contesting against us in the coming elections.
Why is there for instance, so much fuss about Kadir Sheikh Fadhir standing for elections on PAS ticket? It’s a case of having a big ago opined one of his brothers. I met Kadir some time ago; he told me he loved UMNO. He has been a member since 1950s. For a person to disown UMNO after being a member for a long time suggests some extraordinary changes in the character of either UMNO or Kadir.
Kadir hasn’t changed. He’s still that flamboyant with a bon vivant air about him. Look at his vehicles, his houses and his immaculate dressing style. His office at the Mines is immaculately furnished. So his willingness to give up UMNO isn’t because for want of material things. He has all that.
It’s UMNO that has transformed into an ogre beyond recognition. It’s the blatant, rampant and monumental corruption. Kadir isn’t claiming that UMNO is pristine during his time. But there was a sense of self restraint and a check on unbridled self-aggrandizement. The current UMNO has lost all sense of proportion. It has now imposed itself on the peoples of Malaysia as a humongous thieving machinery.
It will be interesting to see what the mainstream conventional and new media make their stories out as? Will they be described as political relics, worn-out former government officers and in other uncomplimentary terms?
The jigsaw puzzles are slowly coming into place. UMNO and BN are on the way out. The 3.7 million Malays who did not vote and support UMNO in 2008 are not coming back in droves to UMNO despite the millions and millions paid out to them. The number of one-minute Malaysian citizens given mykads and the rights to vote are not going to be enough to cancel out the 1 over million UMNO members who have crossed over to the light-side and the over 2 million ordinary Malay citizens who rejected UMNO. They are tired of UMNO’s hypocrisy and lies.
The Chinese have already made up their minds since 2008. They are not supporting UMNO and BN. MCA is losing their minds thinking about the DAP strategy of putting up DAP generals in Johor. Ong Kar Ting suggests a certain DAP leader to contest in his own seat because Kar Ting is not confident of retaining his own seat.
The remaining UMNO people who remain within the dark-side are fools anyway and its leaders half past-six morons sustained only by the vast amounts of illicit money they stashed somewhere. The mental retard who speaks like the retard that he actually is, has the dough to pay his mistress or kept woman RM 200k per session.
Yet this is a party that is big on moral issues and because it’s trying to live up to this clean moral image, has been flooding the Malay mind over the last 15 years with pornographic tales about sodomy, bisexual tales and the size of a certain politician’s penis. The Malay mind is so warped and it’s waiting to be liberated.
But for now, let us continue the myth about UMNO’s legitimacy.
Does UMNO actually look out after Malays? UMNO has always been denominational in the worse sense- I guess that is the only word and term I can use on UMNO. UMNO looks after a small section of the Malays lucky enough to be born with the right family name close enough to be in the fraternity of cronies and sycophants. As to the rest of the Malays , they are just digits.
UMNO is now selling the 3 myths that are the bedrock on which its survival depends. (1) UMNO is necessary for the survival of Malays (2) UMNO is necessary for the survival of Islam and (3) UMNO is necessary to ensure the continuation of the institution of the Malay rulers.
What does it do then when everything else failed? Nobody is going to be fooled anymore that only UMNO can bring development to the country. Communist regimes too carry out economic development. So, the politics of development isn’t going to work anymore because ALL governments carry out some form of development. It’s now no longer open for UMNO to say only IT is capable of bringing development for the country.
Let’s face it. Out of the top 5 states that got the highest FDI, 3 are from Pakatan states. Sarawak does not even have UMNO over there. So its achievement is solely brought about the PM of Sarawak- Taib Mahmud. So, Najib hasn’t got a wonderful track record to speak of when he made that boast in Selangor asking the people to judge him on his track record and his big ideas?
What track record and what big ideas?
To be continued.

When Najib said he will continue on with more 'transformasi', he made an impression as if he's being held up from proceeding with all his transformation agenda, whereas all these whiles all he did was nothing more than sloganizing transformation this and transformation that and no one stopping him but then we see nothing else other than he keep coming up shouting new and new transformation. I don't know if there's even an UMNO man who would believe with Najib new slogan to make his government the most tranparent government in the whole world. Suddenly UMNO's new syndrome is everything will be the best in the world. To me the best UMNO is the dead UMNO!

Dato'

Any Strategist worth his 2 cents will Tell You that the firsts thing that UMNO has to do is to turn around those Malays that voted against UMNO in 2008...

They may not realise the gravity of an effort needed to turn around another person's Mindset. The opposition has to do a Tremendously Dastardly Task in order to turn around their supporters.

This has not happened and so UMNO goes about its usual way of Dirty Tricks and Victimisation through all available government tools in their hands not realising that such tactics will harden the support for the opposition...

Najib Talks about "Game Changing" in his Speech at the Last UMNO general assembly when in Reality on the ground the "Game Changer" is the Rampant Corruption Practised by UMNO Leaders Exposed by the Opposition....and not the Alphabet Soup and Money for Votes Tactics.

Najib's Rhetorics leads the Path to Nowhere as UMNO is still the way it has always but percieved as a lot worse than in 2008. Najib has FAILED in producing the Game Changer that he loudly declared at the UMNO General Assembly...

Congratulations Dato ',

Continue writing and expose all the evil that has been UMNO BN and its leaders did to this country.

Not just heavyweight former UMNO leaders who already hate parties will fight UMNO BN together with us, even heard many senior officials in key departments that have been victimized by this rusty party will also compete on PR ticket in the coming election.

The latest developments on former top officials in the police department betrayed by UMNO BN can you read at http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/195661

BN UMNO leaders proved to have killed many good talented Malay leader and administrators with their treason. Malaysia will continue to decline and deteriorate if continued left governed under the UMNO BN.

GE 13 is the time for all of us to teach UMNO BN. Do not give even one vote for this corruptor leaders!

Salam Dato' Sak. The so called Malay mindset that continue to side with UMNO is not inherently Malays. These are Malays with little or no intelligence at all. Intelligence is defined as "capability to comprehend" or some would also go a bit further with intelligence as "a power to reason". Sad to say that majority of the Malays failed to get through tertiary education & continue to wallow in grave ignorance. This then traps their minds in virtual darkness & devoid of any form of wisdom. When the Malay leaders themselves are morons of the highest order, how can they breed leaders with sound mind & judgment? It will take a few more generations to be smart ones if we begin to change now. But the way things are going with immense fraud expected in the coming election where ammendments passed through parliament that will ensure rampant cheating, we will be helpless in catching the cheats, whatmore with the umpire glaringly siding these morons! I have little faith that PR can win. What Mat Sabu said years ago that this UMNO can never be pverthrown by an election and that only a revolution of some sort can dislodge their reign. I can vouch that even if you ask him today, he would opine the same. For a revolution of sort to happen, conditions must be ripe before a spark can be ignited to cause an avalanche. But that said, I doubt that that would happen given the ISA is very much alive, reincarnated as another seemingly harmless law! Good night Malaysia wherever you are and wherever you will be...

Dear Sakmongkol

They say all good things must come to an end. And so must bad things, too.

The questions really are how and when UMNO will meet its end. The longer it stays, the more the ordinary Malays will suffer, and with them, all other Malaysians.

Look at Egypt, Tunisia, Libya and Indonesia. Kicking out those rotten, corrupt and oppressive regimes took tremendous courage. Mending the economy, social and political systems is challenging, because so much has been weakened, compromised or destroyed. So the quicker we get rid of UMNO/BN the better, and the curative period will be shorter and less painful.

The Chinese are ready. They have since 2008. We are now waiting for our Malay brothers to awaken from the UMNO spell to make it happen. We might be hopeful, but let’s not underestimate the opiate of small monetary bribes. They can quite easily warp judgment and reality. Not forever, but long enough to tide UMNO through the campaign period. When the Malays awake from the hallucinating effects of the monetary drug they will feel deceived and cheated. But it’s too late. And this vicious cycle of corruption, neglect, mismanagement and election bribery will repeat itself every 4-5 years.

That’s why your work is so important. Your message must reach the rural depths where UMNO holds sway, and where poverty and ignorance conspire to make those folks susceptible to monetary bribes.

Dato,

I think this UMNO is no more Melayu.

UMNO = UMNO Menggila Niaya Orang.

The ordinary Malays are actually picking up the crumbs that fall of the table of "feudalists and Malay bourgeoisie".
Malay graduates are unemployable. They can't speak English and can't do business.
The "feudalists and Malay bourgeoisie" send their children to orang puteh countries.

The Malays who still support UMNO have warped or stunted brains. They are always willing to disrupt Pakatan ceramahs, students demo, and rant against Christians, lesbians, gays and transsexuals.

Can human being get any more warped than that?

Dato, I get my adrenaline flowing when I read your articles. Just when we are at the point of giving up, you give us hope. What you say about BN cheating in the election but will still lose is probably true. The numbers of those who reject them will overwhelmed those whom they use to jack up in their favor. The people's expectation is building up and we just can't wait for the election date to be announced.

Must not forget that there is still a lot of Malays who is stupid and does not have acess to alternative news.....these group will solely depend on mainstream media which like you just said is only good for checking 4digits and praying time.....so Malays as a whole needs more bashing to wake them up from their slumber.......as long as we are not able to see beyond race,Malaysia will not get far,as a country,we have failed, umno BN have failed us big time, the only hope is for umno BN to be dismissed from the Malaysian soil.

Anonymous,  22 April 2012 at 22:43

Dato, I wonder how many Malays think sensibly like you. For the coming election, I am hoping that voters will vote for change, give Pakatan a chance in govt inspite of the coalition's imperfections, to carry out reforms especially in the area of corruption.

Honestly, to the Chinese, we don't care if a Malay continues to be the PM of the country so long as he is fair, just, above board and moves the country forward dynamically. As a matter of fact, the race of the PM simply does not matter.

But deep down, I do not foresee the Malays voting in droves to put Pakatan in power (hopefully I am wrong) because I think they are easily emotionally swayed to vote back in BN given the various media channels at BN's disposal.

As for the Chinese, the MCA and Gerakan is history. They have not served the community at all. After all these years, we are still crying out for better access to education. Just to build a Chinese school, we need to go on a signature drive to pressure the authorities to build one when this is supposed to be guaranteed under the constitution.

So, lets sit and pray for change as it will benefit all races and move us back to the time when Malays, Chinese and Indians interact freely and closely and live as one nation as the real threat to the country is no longer domestic but globally. By the way, I like your article.

Anonymous,  22 April 2012 at 23:02

I fear that despite what Sakmongkol is saying, the opposition will still lose the next elections. Im afraid money will speak much louder than good-sense for this elections. The "feudalists and Malay bourgeoisie" are very intelligent, and have paid up the right people the right amount of money to ensure a BN-regime leads the country.

Sakmongkol, I respect your writings. Probably the best we've had from a Malaysian in stirring up feelings of true patriotism among all Malaysians. But unfortunately, this time, I think its all over.

I want to fight for a better country. And I will do it when the time is right. With the right resources to 'pay the right person the right amount', I hope to one day continue your work Sak. Other than that, thanks for being you.

Dato, you cannot be more correct when you say that that Umno B is in a real desperate mess. And in desperate times, desperate people does desperate things.Even to the extent of sending oversized thugs big enough to fit two airplane seats,to beat up protesting students, boys and girls a third their size.

And phantom voters are alledged to be in the hundreds of thousands in Selangor, that MB Khalid is not going to dissolved the state assembly, together with the other states for this coming GE.

It has been a popular belief, all this while among many that Umno might surprised and steal Selangor from right under the noses of PR.The fighting among the Khalid and Azmin factions. And the sleepy head excos of his who never bothered about the small things like UKRC etc, letting it become an issue.

All they care about is getting their pictures in the newspapers filling potholes and the small things like 5-20 thousand ringgit projects, while Umno goes around filling up the electoral rolls with phantom voters and robbing the country blind.Maybe Karpal Singh was right in his one candidate one seat policy. Some of Khalid's exco members have two seats. Two seats for some people are maybe too much to handle.

But good news like former CCID chief Datuk Ramli to stand on a PAS ticket and many Umno stalwarts coming out to openly criticised the Umnoputras corrupted policies will finally sent the remaining fencesitters tilting over to PR.

The most important are the remaining Umno/BN supporters who still have some doubts about the opposition. This are the ones who have benefited more or have received the bigger bite of the carrots dished out before election times.

And they are the chickens who always at the last second when it comes down to marking the X,thinks another five more years of Umno/BN will not hurt,as they will surely change. And then comes the next GE and the next five years mentality still stuck inside their brainwashed heads.

If the opposition politicians can convinced this group to go over to the PR,Umno will surely get spanked hard.Like the spanking MCA and Gerakan got in Penang.Likewise MCA and MIC will end up having a couple of token seats while Gerakan will have ducks egg for supper.

But the whole world has to know, the PM of Malaysia and UMNO BN is generally a great liar. He inherited his mentor's bad behavior in the case of Anwar's black eye!

Let us next ask ourselves - if Najib has to hire flag-waving motorcyclists and Umno's NGOs can bully their keris-threatening way through against student and social movements of the rakyat, on which side does the word 'rakyat' sit? Therefore, on which side does Najib and his Umno NGOs sit? Sorry, limit's up on A's.

Umno has not only debased the rakyat, it has also debased our society. It is encouraging the thug-mindset of our 21st century while others have raced ahead to be more cultivated and critical in their thinking, more rational and moderate in their behaviour, and more just and honest in their decisions.

Let us candidly ask ourselves. If such a situation continues, what will be the final result? Kleptocracy at one corner, hypocrisy at another, followed by a thuggish police state at another corner, and lastly an income-widening gap in a mythical high-income economy in the last corner. We'll be surrounded on all four corners by mediocrity and lunacy.

Is this how we want our Malaysia to become? Spins and lies, threats and blows, debasement and injustice, low standards and obsolescence, yawning debt and weakening performance propped by act-big spin? Then it won't just be the end of the history of Umno Baru. It'll be the end of the short-lived history of Negara Ku.

Rakyat, we all know that con-men and swindlers do their acts best when facing only individuals. It is when they have to face millions that they show their true selves.

In going back against what he had said about going to France to answer on the scorpene deal, and in brushing aside valid questions whether he would testify at the same, both Zahid and Najib have nailed and exposed themselves for what they are.

So you might as well ask them next where are they going to find the market after spending another RM6 Billion of the rakyats' money to start a 6x6 military truck business when we already have to get original equipment from the Poles who are already ahead? Military markets are seasonal, folks, and that means cashflow challenges for big buck investments. Can our rakyat afford that now when even their tents are taken from them by this rakyat-first kera-ja(ga)an?

What goes around will come around. The guilt of men and their political parties cannot be hidden forever.

Ask Him for final Guidance.

And that goes for the Elections Commission for GE13 as well. Which voter today trusts a single word it says?

Thank you sir for your insights! God bless you.

In essence, Fukuyama's End Of History spoke of a geopolitical shift of global perceptions and social power.

The same is happening here because our rakyat have all woken up that what Umno has been doing is just racketeering to protect its coterie of cronies while spinning short-term spurts of feel-good vibes around.

Umno is nothing but a mere syndicate of well-heeled crooks and liars playing on the emotions of our simple-minded rakyat.

Take last night's event at Dataran Merdeka. While they had paid performers to gyrate around and smile for the cameras so that viewers around the country can get zapped by sights and sounds, our youngsters were huddling at one corner in cold tents in the same square that is emblematic of how national their plight remains.

The students had sacrificed themselves to bravely voice out their sense of injustice at how a political party can at its whims and fancies dish to its own cronies millions while denying poor students a basic scholarship for their education even to the extent of hiring thugs to bully them and take away their tents the morning after.

This is as stark as you can get that Umno has walked the opposite direction of its so-called people-centric talk. If that's not hypocrisy against the interest of the rakyat, what is?

Meanwhile Umno's paid lackeys launch ad hominem attacks on people like Aspan. Doesn't one of them remember how he had sat timidly next to Aspan during one get-together when Aspan was sincerely and humbly discussing issues faced by our Malays in the country?

If one can do that to a fellowman of distinction and honour, what residual value can possibly remain in any defense of the corrupt paymaster that is Umno?

And this is what Umno has done to our country and society. It has divided and separated itself above us.

More than that, it has also debased us. Didn't someone just confess in a previous post he was not such a cheapskate to want only two hundred ringgit?

Those who had taken that money from Umno are therefore considered cheapskates in reality by the very people who had dispensed money taken from the rakyat to give back to them but only in little amounts disproportionate to the vast sums stolen in broad daylight under the protection of all the federal institutions of the country formed to protect the interests of the rakyat in the first place!

This kind of scheming tomfoolery must end at GE13.

If you are still not convinced, watch one of Pemandu's tv ads. Yes, the one on anti-corruption. Ask yourself how can a government ask companies to pledge not to be corrupt when the government itself is corrupt? Collect for yourself any number of A's you like if you can honestly answer that question. Muhyiddin and Khaled won't mind but that's because they would never miss any they never had.

Now, some may still wonder what will happen to Umno after GE13. The answer has already arrived. Look at the Pakatan-run states today. Umno is in the opposition in those states. And that's how it will be if Pakatan routs Barisan in GE13.

In those Pakatan-run states, are our Malays worse off by a long shot? Have they lost their Ketuanan by any chance? Isn't it odd that the occasional bellyaching is only made by a few 'malays' who don't even look like our Malays?

As was written before, the best way to see for yourself the true colours of a political party is to look at it when it is NOT running the country. When it is the opposition, see whether it really cares for the rakyat.

Has Umno as opposition reps really cared for the rakyat in Pakatan-run states as much as Pakatan has been caring for the rakyat as their opposition reps in Barisan-majority states?

Again, there's another bag of A's at the door. While at it, collect a waterproof tent as well. And some bandages.

If politic is about what sort of social system to be chosen, majority still confident in the present system except for those who are very much angry to see BN stay too long in power. This is the silent majority. Any leader for a great party must be brave enough and of course cannot entertain everybody. For the coming PRU, the real testimony for the majority rakyat, is what improvements happen in the system as opposed to system change to be introduced by PR, a coalition of DAP/PAS/PKR having actually different political ideology. This is the rakyat should be thinking. The party of course will go all out for power. Remember, more than 70% voters are not party members reprent different races. Are they really poor and misled so far? Any of us can promise moon and stars. The people have their thinking of who is more rights than wrongs. The people rational thinking is the winner. ADIOS!

anon 08.35 is at it again.

If his salary can be increased today or tax reduced tomorrow by taking back the USD30 million creamed from timber deals of Musa Aman, would he be saying anymore that the silent majority are still for the present 'system'?

Does he even know how the system he is defending operates? Let me explain what happens in the corridor of Umno power.

If you are a conscientious party-serving high-flyer in the present Umno government who has not said or done anything controversial against it but at the same time have not asked for anything beyond your payscale, the same party will send a rep over to see you one day and make a simple offer - 'what do you want?'

That's why it is a syndicate. If you take up the offer, you're locked into the servitude of the band of thieves and ultimately will become like one of them, selling your soul and conscience in order to toe a line you have to every day justify to yourself while avoiding any thought for the rakyat.

And if you reject the offer, you'll be branded a potential risk to the party so that steps will be taken in the near future to get you out or to marginalize you from going up.

All this of course will be off the records. It's not that you don't know this, do you, anon 08.35?

C'mon, show some real standards in your thinking. The real world out there has gone far beyond us. What do the real rakyat have today? Weekend jomhebohing for temporary mental relief from the stark fact that they are not able to do more for their children and cucu's what others have already raced far beyond us to achieve theirs.

If we continue to have this type of jaguh kampung type of mentality living off myths built on the stilts of concrete and balloons, then be assured that the future of this country will remain exactly that - big money for act-big projects to conscience-killed cronies while millions of the rakyat will have to save their pride defending the same system that is destroying the potential of this country for clean government and real progress.

If the anon's 08.35 in this country are still self-assured after this, they should start selling their list of Umno achievements which have really helped to avoid such problems.

Go ahead, name one.

You are one of the intelligent Malaysian Malay. I like to visit your blog and will recommend my Malaysian Chinese friends to visit it too. I find it so wonderful to read so many comments by my fellow Malay brothers, they are the cream of our country.
Keep it up brother! My brotherly love to your all!

Dear Sakmongkol,

Since you joined DAP, I read all of your published writings in this blog. I think, it is tremendously hard to beat BN in the next GE. SPR do not move an inch even have not decided yet whether they want to use indible ink or not. This is very worrisome.

At the same time, I see that UMNO is using media at their full advantage. I don't think many Malaysian aware of the purpose of Bersih 3.0 and whether it exists or not. Only urban voters and PR fans are aware of this. Others, even some of my friends surprisingly ignorants and do not even aware of Bersih3.0. Not like Bersih 2.0 because of so much hu hass and even DYMM Agong also commented on it.

All I can do now is pray, and tell my friends to vote and read a bit more about politics. Not only watching Mentor, Sure Heboh, Cerita Hantu, Cerita Seks.... and asked them to be more sensitive towards other races. Thats all I can do. Other than this, if SPR keep supporting BN, then nothing we can do.

It is just hurt me to see our malay friends still support UMNO and being stupified with all the propaganda by BTN, TV3, Utusan and other medias.

Allah selamatkan Malaysia!

Dato

You are wasting your time writing this in English.

The Malaysians who can understand your English articles are either:

a. already converted to the cause of ABU; or

b. staunch supporters of UMNO who will never switch side because they probably have their hands in the cookie jar and will get burnt if Pakatan comes into power.

The people who can still be influenced are the Malays in the rural areas, who need to know that they are being cheated by UMNO and being robbed blind. These people are mostly fluent in Bahasa Malaysia.

So, Dato. If you are really serious about reaching out to the rakyat, WRITE IN BAHASA MALAYSIA ... and share it widely with the rural Malays!!!

The rest of us who are fluent in English ... we can read Bahasa Malaysia equally well ... because we are Malaysians!!!

I pray to Allah that you will be blessed with the energy and good health to continue with your jihad to oust this devilish UMNO Baru- that usurper party which was set up by the Kerala Mamak to perpetuate his corrupt ways.

Past Perfect,  23 April 2012 at 14:56

[...}"Yet this is a party that is big on moral issues and because it’s trying to live up to this clean moral image, has been flooding the Malay mind over the last 15 years with pornographic tales about sodomy, bisexual tales and the size of a certain politician’s penis. The Malay mind is so warped and it’s waiting to be liberated."[...]

In trying to read into that there are pros and cons on this.

There could well be legitimate cultural elements of the idealism in big moral issues. My scarce readings on Malays historical, apart from the intended and planned scarcity of materials add to my confusion.

Whilst on the one hand you see similarities between UMNO and the Likud Party of Israel you can't pin it down to the Tories or Labor in UK ...but for the fact that the British devolution is highlighting ethnicism of the "English" as Scotland prepares for Independence. Like the Malays, the Brit bumiputera is the English. This is not to say and suggest there is scarce universlist good values from their system. But bloody hell, the Orang Puteh Bumiputera found it good in imperialist ambitions though for the most part what the imperialist Brits wanted was a big share of the dadah "Opium Trade". Of course there were finer things, too but for that power wielded over centuries you need some "kasam buruk" idea with the pretext.

Anyway, a lot of our money is in the UK property right now. Must have always been. But we hope EPF's bad governance in management is not going to show Malaysian workers will lose their butts should the market crash again. Crashing markets is good bizness as the idea of "money" shows shades of obsolescence.

But what really strikes you is that bumiputraism isn't such an original ideal of the noble "Melayu". We must not forget the Brit bumiputera, too! ;))

It's such a big con job!

Unfounded insecurity and fear of majority of Malays will return BN to power.

Corruption, wastage, bad and unfair policies etc. are secondary to them.

Dear Walla,

honestly, when PK wins, we must recommend you to be given a high profile portfolio in the English department of tertiary education
where you conduct writing classes, critical writing classes, political science classes in colleges and universities, with a driver and a comfortable car given, seriously.

Quoted, " I like to visit your blog and will recommend my Malaysian Chinese friends to visit it too. I find it so wonderful to read so many comments by my fellow Malay brothers, they are the cream of our country. " Unquote.

Definitely, the fantastic ones are here, intelligent, fair - minded, receptive and fair to all. Yay !

Salam Dato,

No one writes so truthfully and plainly as you do.....and, I love every article of yours.....it speaks of the truth.

No government causes so much racial strife in the region except the BN/UMNO celaka government:

"We are done with a government that sets off one section of the citizen against another section of the rakyat based on religion and race. And we must kick out a government that declares war on us but embrace lovingly abuses of power, corruption and thievery."

Mari kita kuburkan BN/UMNO secepat mungkin.....kita akan jimat wang negara.

BN/UMNO hanya tahu rembat wang rakyat.

tak malu punya PM....hakim peranchis dah panggil dah...kita tunggu dan tengok ...Najib tu berani nak pergi tak.....bola dia dah kecut dah.

Saya berdoa semoga Dato' sihat2 dan di lindungi Allah.

i used to think i was an excellent writer, having been years abroad, alas m humbled by many blogger's flawless English on Sak's incredible blog: Sak, Walla, Bruno, FMZam, Joe Black, Pattani Warrior, Troubadour, many anons, in fact, everyone .. stunned.. but real happy to see very lively intelligent engagement of the mind, in such pleasantness, at times with valid indignation and wrath though.

aisay, got nothing to write, so here's a song dedicated by my good friend.

You could all join in and enjoy listening to it for supporting DAP, PK, ABU.

Salam Dato'

I enjoyed your writings and all those facts and rationales that being put forward to us. Though, in my personal opinion you should also write, if any, about the lack@weaknesses in PR (say from BN/UMNO perspective) so that those deficiencies can be fixed and at least being tackled by PR leaders.

Perhaps the writings could be in an advisory manner or as a pure opinions, your call. What I'm looking at is PR is still within progression stage and should be receptive to constructive comments especially from experienced persons like you. And I definitely wants PR to be a receptive government and people-friendly which contradicts to what BN is doing right now.

My wish is for PR to bring Malaysians together and show a true People-Government. It's meaningless to take over from BN and repeat the same mistakes and people got split-up further.

Alas, I also think that PR are doing their best now and should be commended irregardless of the election outcome.

Just a humble opinion Dato'. Thank you.

In New Zealand, Taito Philip Field, an MP was jailed for corruption (eg using new immigrants to paint his houses), and after 31 years! your Sarawak Chief Minister is still walking and talking proud and stealing billions from you. In NZ He would have been in jail 30 and half years ago. Why are you so gullible & forgiving? For me, NOT ANOTHER HOUR! None of you have any guts. Pathetic. Tragic…. And how many are going out to BERSIH gathering?

Alan Newman 24 April 2012 at 16:50

If you research globally & think thoroughly: Politicians are the roots of all the problems in the world: pillage & plunder; cronies; in-equality of races & incomes; apartheid; hardship & grief turning to crime & tragedy; trillions of $$$ wasted worldwide on corruption, thefts, land-grabs, resource-grabs, amassing of projects, money outflow & laundering, white elephants & kickbacks; abuses, mismanagements, misuses, crime-fighting, strife, riots, wars. In the end, to cling to power & luxury, they will kill. Look at Idi Amin, Africa, N. Korea, Arab Spring.
So why are you so forgiving & relenting? Have they – BN, UMNO got a trace of the people’s interest at heart? NO! It’s endless tricks, acrobatics & deception to stay in power. Not after 55 years of BN & UMNO! It must now be zero tolerance & striking back with the greatest force.

Alan Newman 24 April 2012 at 16:50

What a crooked, cheating incumbent government! Putrajaya only had 6,008 voters but Opposition-held Kapar needed a staggering 112,224 voters, 17 times more than Putrajaya. Deceit; gerrymandering; State-controlled media; vote buying; postal votes; useless ink, new voters from illegal immigrants + boost phantom voters into multi-million names; public machinery used to support votes for a government that stole elections for some 55 years.

Alan Newman 24 April 2012 at 16:50

Malaysia has neither transparency (non-corruption) nor real human rights, neither freedom of the media nor true democracy. The blacks are only 14% of US population, if Obama can be US President, an Indian or Dayak or Chinese can be a Malaysian PM…think about it! How tragically you’ve been treated.
You need a giant civil rights movement akin to that of great Martin Luther King. It is glaring apartheid in Malaysia under the label of ‘Bumiputra’. How can a race be treated superior to another, especially when they work the least. The crime of apartheid is defined by the 2002 Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court as inhumane acts of a character similar to other crimes against humanity"committed in the context of an institutionalized regime of systematic oppression and domination by one racial group over any other racial group or groups and committed with the intention of maintaining that regime."
On 30 November 1973, the United Nations General Assembly opened for signature and ratification the International Convention on the Suppression and Punishment of the Crime of Apartheid.[1] It defined the crime of apartheid as "inhuman acts committed for the purpose of establishing and maintaining domination by one racial group of persons over any other racial group of persons and systematically oppressing them."
