As long as there is Moon and the Stars-part 1

I made a promise to a dear friend that I won’t comment on Najib’s 7 pledges on how to make Malays better. I am afraid I can’t resist commenting on Najib. 

Because he deserves so and can’t go unaccounted. and because I know of his hypocrisy. He has committed the cardinal sins of pride and gluttony by making promises attested by the moon and the stars. Who is he do that?

How come the number 7 always crops up?

Our sins are also classified into 7 deadly sins. By the way, before the ustazs cry foul and ask their NGO-fronts to make a police report- the 7 deadly sins form part of Christian ethics. And also by the way- Najib would be surprised that the origins of the moon and the stars used favourably by early colonialists could have originated from the Bible: Psalms 8:3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
 

Less heard and mentioned however are the 4 Last Things. Death of the Sinner, Judgement, Hell, and Glory. UMNO will soon pass through these stages. Those who commit corruption, embezzlement, atrocities, tyranny will die. Judgment for UMNO will come at the next elections- for Najib I hope it’s earlier.

He hasn’t answered the believable allegation that 1MDB is nothing but an elaborate money skimming scheme. Privatise profits from public money. Make liabilities public owned, profits privately owned. After that these people will go through a hellish passage as they are now undergoing and those who battle UMNO will taste glory.

It must not be a coincidence why he made the 7 promises- the chickens come home to roost. Najib’s hypocrisy and hollowness will catch up with him eventually. The last 4 things will engulf the 7 deadly sins.

The 7 eternal pledges - because Najib says as long as there is a moon and stars- we, meaning UMNO, will take care of the Malays.

In contemporary youthspeak- yeah right.

Just to put things in perspective, the Melayus who converged in one stadium last few days began that ceremony by pledging:-

"Kami semua berhimpun di sini dari segenap kelompok seluruh pelusuk tanah air, terdiri dari MELAYU YANG HEBAT MELAYU YANG BERMARUAH, DAN MELAYU YANG BERKAT.

"Kami berhimpun di sini untuk NYATAKAN SOKONGAN KEPADA KEPIMPINAN YANG PM TERAJUI.

Kami semua bangsa Melayu HEBAT BERMARUAH DAN BERKAT," laungnya.Promising

That’s it- they converged to pledge allegiance and loyalty to Najib and then signed a business MOA. They only become hebat, bermaruah dan berkat by hanging on Najib’s coattails.

Something the Malays say about chicken shit being warm for a brief time comes to mind.

The real Melayu yang bermaruah will object vehemently to PPRT homes because the chicken coop of a house debased and demeans the Malay. A late ketua kampong in Raub wanted the government to declare the construction of PPRT homes forbidden or haram- because that is a testament betapa hina nya bangsa Melayu bukan bermaruah nya bangsa Melayu.
