Where will the MCA president contest?

A few days ago we heard the plans by the MCA president to contest in the next GE. He hasn’t decided where to context professing humility that even though he’s president and a winnable candidate, he can’t impose his will anywhere. So where will CSL contest now that he has revealed that 3 MBs of Johore, Perak and Negeri Sembilan have offered him seats to contest?
It’s difficult to believe by that admission; it’s also true that the MCA president hasn’t got a place to contest. How is that possible when he has declared, or self-declared that he is a winnable candidate? The more important question here is MCA a winnable party?
In a speech celebrating the oncoming Deepavali celebrations, Chua declared that he has received invitations from the MBs of Johor, Perak and Negeri Sembilan to contest. The speech made in Seremban is significant in several aspects.
For it was in Seremban in 1982, the MCA presiden then, Lee San Choon contested in Seremban against the then DAP chairman, Dr Chen Man Hing. Lee San Choon won after MCA and BN spent millions of Ringgit directly inducing voters to vote for the MCA president. That was the costliest victory won by an MCA president. MCA literally went on a spending free on that day- it bought everyone it can shove money to. Malay votes were delivered by the usual suspects of political wheeler dealers. The contest was dubbed as the clash of the Chinese Titans.
Cua Soi Lek must be thinking that it’s possible for him to repeat that feat. He is now the MCA president. But one ingredient to that thinking is missing- the men representing his opponent in Chinese leadership are not standing in Seremban. Lim Guan Eng is in Penang and Lim Kit Siang is in Perak. So for CSL to repeat the feat of a former MCA president he has to choose a battleground where his appropriate opponent stands.
That was what the contest between Lee San Choon and Chen Man Hing represented. It represented not only a contest between money power of the MCA and the dogged determination of Dr Chen; it was in reality, a contest to earn the bragging rights as to who is the leader of the Chinese community.  Lee San Choon was out to prove that there can only be one tiger on top of the mountain.
To me then, CSL must retrace the steps taken by Lee San Choon in its entirety. He must stand in a place where he will contest against a worthy opponent. Now is the time to show his much talked about strength in character. That can only be proven if he either takes on Lim Kit Siang or Lim Guan Eng.  That clash will prove once and for all, which Chinese leader is more relevant to the community presently.
Let us write in to support the idea for CSL to fight either Kit Siang or Guan Eng. We want to see the much fabled aggressiveness of CSL on a different bed stage. If he insists that he must contest against his equivalent as party president, he can opt to contest against the indomitable Karpal Singh, the DAP chairman.
But the idea of CSL contesting in Seremban is also titillating; if CSL chooses to do battle in Seremban, now is the time for the Seremban folks to redeem what their predecessors did in 1982. Let the Seremban folks give CSL the biggest blow-job ever!

If Chua Soiled Leg contests in Seremban, I will even vote for a dog rather than CSL.
No way I am going to vote this shameless and despicable man.

No, leave Penang to that Gerakan cicak Koh Tsu-Koon to contest against Lim Guan Eng. Don't play-play, can't wait to see LGE effortlessly flip him over and bury him for good!

As for this self-declared 'winnable' chinese hero CSL, if he dares should meet LGE's father Lim Kit Siang in Ipoh Timor. I'm sure by the time it's over CSL have his own sperm all over his anus, no?

Dear Sak, a chinese like me will not vote for MCA.

The reason for not voting for MCA is simple.
This is due to the fact that the MCA SOLD THE CHINESE OUT when CHAR KUEH TEOW Ling Liong Sik was the president.
That is why during the Liong court hearing you do not see the chinese attending the hearing to support him.To me he is a PENGKIANAT to the chinese.
As proven in Sibu,Money cannot buy the chinese anymore,so wherever CSL contest,he got to depend on the non chinese vote to win.

ha2. come to PJ against Tony Pua and he will find out that he will have time for all the young and pretty MCA girls.

A good article spoiled by the crossed-out word. UMNO is desperate and resorted to the Dato T and papagomo ways. You don't have to.

Why you buat jatuh standard sendiri?

The degree of disgust of the Chinese community against the morally corrupted CSL is unmeasurable. His character has dishonored the community...CSL should know what honor meant or... shouldn't he. Even putting Mat Sabu in PJ Utara, Seputeh or Bukit Bintang, CSL will chicken out

Saya seorang pengundi diseremban. kepada soi lek sila lah datang. kita buktikan yang kita akan halau kamu dari politik.

Timus,  22 October 2011 at 15:37

ha ha ha bro - you've nailed it! We know it is only fart coming out of CSL's mouth and there will be only be an elegant silence thereafter. Or maybe he is a winnable candidate for his opponent!

Anonymous,  22 October 2011 at 16:34

Who cares where CSL wants to contest! Anyhow, why don't you propose that Nik Aziz or Hadi to contest against Najib at Pekan since you strongly believe that he is a weak PM?

wong,  22 October 2011 at 17:52

Let's just conclude our decision. let us send MCA with its partner, big bro UMNO to the opposition bench.

That's it.

Dato Sak,
Dulu UMNO dipimpin oleh pemimpin yang telus kerana meereka adalah dari keluarga yang well bred.
Sejak 30 tahun dahulu sampai sekarang UMNO dipimpin oleh singkek.

Faham maksud saya dato? Kalau tak faham cakap. Saya terangkan lagi.

Too old for a blow-job.
Too old to contest.
He is contented as party president.
If he contests, shame only one, he lose one. LOL.
But to be serious ah, he is a good MCA president. At least ah, he can talk big and sometimes shame the DAP one. Don't agree ah??

The Chinese have woken up to throw these thieving buggers out.

When will the Malays do so to Umno?

On the same token, why don't you propose that Najib contest against Nik Aziz or Hadi in Pengkalan Chepa or Marang since you strongly believe that he is a strong PM? He can kempen with the famous "lu tolong gua, gua tolong lu" and we shall see who wins. Can you do that?

Dato, this CSL should be happy and content that he is the president of Mca and the owner of a chicken farm or rather a harlem of old lovelies in Johore. What more can a man of his age had hope for.But no,he has to have his last hurrah.

And that is to be a supposedly winnable candidate in Najib's election lineup. He wants to be a cabinet minister again to fulfill his ego.Or rather his manhood,as he has proven to be a real stud in his role as a porn actor.Or maybe he has always visionised to be Bill Clinton. He wants to be known as the second comeback kid.

But as a politician,we have to give credit to him. This man is a fighter, one ingredient that has been missing in the present Najib cabinet. He has been knocked down, landed hard on his back. And he came back and landed a KO on his opponent. One thing is for sure this guy is no pushover.

But all being said, whether the electorate in the constituency where he will be standing, that is if he is standing will give him a second chance. In Europe they will. Sex scandals there are no deal. But if in the USA,he will be the laughing stock in town.In fact he will be laughed out of town and have to relocate to the remote areas where they have a population of a few hundreds.

But what if CSL were to choose to stand against lightweights such as Hannah or Ellie. And maybe lost his deposit. Then where is he going to hide his face.Under the lady's blouse. In the center, where the lady wears her special pads.If he loses badly, that will be the only place he will find confort in.

A few ringgit here and there can do wonders with voters. Sabah and Sarawak are prime examples. Judging from the 2012 budget, voters everywhere will be bought and CSL will get his orgasmic experience from winning an election (regardless of who he stands against),courtesy of money thrown at all races, Malays, Chinese and Indians. There will be people willing to sell their votes for a price. Unfortunately for these desperate people, CSL, his son and BN will screw them even harder after winning. Just look at Sabah and Sarawak. Raped, plundered and raped over and over again and the voters there keep asking for more. Can you blame BN , CSL & son for the state of affairs Malaysia is in?

I will never vote BN. I'd rather vote for a cat. But, Unfortunately, I think people like me are a minority in Malaysia.

Malaysian Chinese,  22 October 2011 at 23:41

Put him in my hometown and I will fly home to vote for the opponent candidate! It doesn't matter to me if the opponent candidate is non-Chinese!

Better yet, I up the ante by suggesting that he contests against any of the current PAS leaders; Mohamad Sabu, Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad, etc, in a majority chinese community and see who will win?

Are you game, CSL ?

with a face that resembles a punching bag for mike tyson, i am sure he will end up likewise no matter where he decides to contest, umno knows most of the mca candidates are goners and beggers can't be choosers, they will all be lined up against the wall blinded folded..

bruno,  23 October 2011 at 10:54

Dato, worst come to the worst if CSL really wants to have a sure win seat,Chuah Jr might relinquish his seat in favor of Papa Chuah. But that does not mean that a sure win means that Papa Chuah might not lose his deposit, especially with the trend showing that the Mca might be going to the dogs. The same trend as our educational standards.

malaysian chinese,

he will hide in a hotel room somewhere in Batu Pahat and have his good time. CSL< go represent the sick and corrupt UMNO. your Mu is your role model with his sickening comments on LGE's son.

Anonymous,  23 October 2011 at 14:07

Who says Chua Soi Lek is a winnable candidate. He can claim all he want. He has to show it by standing against LKS or Karpal Singh to prove he is a winnable candidate.

walla 23 October 2011 at 17:09

Actually Lee would have won more than the eight hundred plus votes over Chen in that 1982 election if the Keralan had not back-stabbed its own Barisan coalition partner by withdrawing Umno support in a vindictive attempt to prove the MCA could not win without Umno support.

But the MCA did make inroads in the general election that year despite a total campaigning budget of less than six million for all seats competed. The voters did see how Umno's machiavelli had flexed political puissance in such a dictatorial way that it mocked and chafed the coalition spirit.

No doubt, he'll still be strategizing in the background. His recent poison dart at PAS shows the viper hasn't lost its sting. Hence all that talk in Umno's inner circles questioning the MCA's position and role in the next general elections.

To return the old vibes, Barisan today needs to go for an OWC seminar. CSL is exempt. On that score, he is a winnable candidate.

Right from the start of the Greatest Show on Earth video, CSL should have taken what the British call the "Chiltern Hundred" i.e. resign immediately from Parliament and leave public life for good. There are no two ways about it - do what Profumo did in the early 60s when he was part of the infamous Christine Keeler-Colonel Ivanov scandal - he faded away quietly by spending the rest of his life doing charity work. CSL has an even better option now by emulating what disgraced Japanese politicians have been demonstrating lately to secure eternal redemption, despite coming from a long line of blood-thirsty ancestors, by mumbling mournful nonsence in quiet Shinto shrine every night. CSL could do this in the privacy of his bed-room but to earn real merit he should not allow himself to be ever distracted again. Anyway, the die has been cast. Male chauvinist pigs in the MCA Assembly voted him in in 2009 but most voters taking the cue from Ms Chew Mei Fun will know what to do with individuals who can't behave themselves. See you CSL in the next PRU.
