Threatened with a law suit.

This is not a press release. If a press release is required, lawyers representing me will supervise doing so.

Many friends have called and written in, expressing worries that I am being sued by the PM’s son in law.

Lawyers representing him have issued a press release asking me to be accountable for an article titled Son in Law Daniyar to Be Najib’s New Jho Low.

The lawyers asked me to remove that article and tender my apologies to the son in law. If I don't do these, they will sue on their client's behalf.

I want readers to know this.

I did not write an article with that title. So I am not responsible for the author of the article or the news portal that made it. I have no control over that news portal so I cannot remove it. The lawyers must ask that portal to remove it.
I have no association with that portal nor do I know them. They uploaded my article and restructured them with their slant.

I have told my lawyer that if my OWN original article is referred, I am prepared to look at the offending words and passages and if necessary will remove the offending passages and tender the required apologies.

My own article, which readers have read was titled Faulty Reward System and Changeable Government. Definitely not the same as the referred title.

The essence of my own article is about the rotten UMNO system and its bad leadership. It was not about the PM’s son in law. I did write some passages referring to the son in law as being a beneficiary of the UMNO rotten system. But I also said, I hope this news is not true. Readers are welcomed to reread my own article in this blog.

So, I repeat, the article quoted by the lawyers representing the PM‘s son in law was not written on my blog. I cannot remove it. I am waiting for the lawyers representing the son in law to point out the material which are deemed offensive in my OWN article.

So I want my friends and readers to wait for what our respective lawyers finally agree. Stay calm and do not over worry.
As usual the uninformed crowd are busy, i am told, in facebooks and twitters denouncing Lim Guan Eng's barua and the DAP running dog.
Some people's children.

Them crooks can't stomach your hard hitting "kicks & punches" anymore so they've resorted to hitting below the belt with this amateurish so-called defamation. So, let 'em come at you with whatever "monkey moves", just wallop 'em good in Court. No settlement outside the ring, ok. Best of luck!

Frankly it is hard to see any defamatory imputation as far as the son-in-law was concerned. If there were any imputation to talk of, some people must have missed the direction! - poor chaps, haha!...You can't be responsible for other people's choice of a headline. If one were, we had all be in trouble! Besides, you had qualified yourself by stating that you'd hoped that the news of the alleged contract wasn't true and and that if it were true, that that only went to affirm somebody else's character. I guess, these days, English is not a strong suit to many a one.
