The Malay State of Mind

That is not Hassan Malek, is it?

The fact is- GST has caused prices of goods and services to increase. That is painful to almost everyone. How is it that a person is happy when he suffers pain?

It’s very hard for us to accept when some say and insist that GST is good for all. Because everyone is happy with GST they want to vote for BN. The rakyat can’t wait to pay GST so that the government will have more money.

They know these dastardly things take place; With more money, the government can spend on big projects proposed by crony companies. With more money, they can hand over cash to superstar investors like Jho Low,Equinas, etc.

They know they must quickly pay up so that with more money the government can buy another plane to ensure the PM flies safely and comfortably.

Yes, the Malays are the most contented lot when it comes to paying GST.

Hassan Malek must know more than anyone else about the secret sexual preferences of the Malays. There is something in the study of sex that refers to people deriving pleasure when they are flogged, whipped, punished pierced here and there.

We need to study from the master; Hassan Malek. He may not be stupid as he looks after all. So Hassan Malek- because he knows Malays derive pleasure when pained- says its ok to impose GST- the Malays will derive pleasure from the pain on their pockets.

When they spend RM100, they have to pay RM6. If they eat out, they have to pay 10% service charge. They understand the government lied because they promised they will abolish SST. It turns out the government does not control service charge which means they lied from the beginning.

But Hassan Malay knows the Malay psychology. He is on par with the thinking of DR Mahathir because like Mahathir, he knows of the political party suitable for people with the mental constitution of UMNO Malays.

By extension, Malays can only accept a party that pains them, subject them to humiliation and poverty, bullies them, keeps then mentally bounded, scolds them, makes them beggars. UMNO fits the bill to the t.

So when Hasan Malek says the Malays are happy to pay GST, he may be telling the truth. It is true of UMNO supporters who are most happy when they are flogged and whipped. Only these people will agree to be taxed because they feel duty bound to pay for the expensive upkeep of a spendthrift government and the equally squandering PM and ministers.

When offered free education, UMNO supporters protested and insisted they WANT to pay. When offered removal of RM300 traffic summonses- they rose and protested INSISTING it’s a national duty to pay for UMNO crony companies. Only people sick in the mind will agree and be happy to be taxed. And these are the people who claimed BR1M twice and will be lamenting not receiving enough welfare help.

They agree to pay taxes despite the fact that most of them belonged to the lowest income earning group –the bottom 40%.

The people may not understand GST- even ministers don’t- but they understand rising cost of living and reduction in real income. They understand financial hypocrisy and deception when the PM buys a new plane and spends lavishly on the daughter’s wedding. They now hear the PM is giving out RM500,000 to some 60 UMNO division heads. If true, that will mean UMNO is dishing out RM30 million.

How do you explain the two issues here?

1.   What make Malays support policies detrimental to them?

2.   Why do Malays want to continue supporting a party that keep them under subservience?

I shall try to find the answers here in Permatang Pauh.

  1. In reality, Malaysians generally are either damned stupid or plain serial suckers of the first degree.

From past election trends, they seem to like a govt who steal their hard earned money, lied to them, go after them if they complain or whistle blow illegal acts etc.

They deserved what they get from their past follies.

  7. The Malays, especially the poor rural folks, have been brainwashed to accept GST.
TV adverts starring their popular actors and actresses tell them GST is good for you, and good for me. So what's not to disbelieve.
The current gomen will pay a very high price for lying to their rakyat, if not immediately now, but soon to come.
When I shop in the hypermarkets, not one Malay housewife shopper has anything good to say about GST. They opine the gomen has lied to them, and they are the first ones to know this because the extra $$ they have to foot out comes out from their purses and wallets.

Listen to Shabery, he said he listens to the rakyat and he hears they do not want to pay 6% extra on prepaid topups.
Why doesn't he remove GST completely, if he listens to the rakyat as he claims, the rakyat would have told him, GET RID OF GST. The rakyat is hurting a lot. Does the gomen listen? Did Shabery get the message?

  10. FLASH:
According to unofficial figures released by Bernama, BN secured 22,679 votes compared to PAS which received 14,445 votes - a majority of 8,234 votes.

Didn't Muhydeen or HIshamuddin (or both) promise a majority of not less than 15,000 votes. What happened to UMNO's faithful, they lost the faith and ARE deserting UMNO

  11. When things go f*ckingly wrong. What do one in power and with tons of money to throw around do? Get thirty or fifty RM 100 notes and change them into RM 1 notes.Get a crowd and fling your RM 1 notes and let they fly in the sky.Have the crowd happily spread out their arms to grab the ringgits falling down from the sky.Get your cronies to take pictures of you and the happy smiling crowd. No more woes.No more worries.Just a happy and smiling crowd.

  12. Like the white people in the American South who want to keep the ni**gers in their place,
    some lower income Malays continue
to support UMNO Baru because UMNO Baru says it will ensure
that "Ketuanan Melayu" continues, and that "pendatang" will be kept in their place.

As we can see from internal BN politics, the non-UMNO pendatang political parties are indeed kept in their groveling, "lap dog" place!

  13. Dato',

This is the new Malay dilemma facing the Malays. The majority choose to remain quiet and allow the minority comprising of UMNO elites and their cronies walk all over them. Even pseudo Malays like Ridhuan Tee Abdullah believes he is more Malay than the Malays themselves and he is already walking all over the Malays with his "ultra kiasus" propaganda.

  15. Several years ago I did the ost stupid thing that I am regretful until today. I persuaded my daughter to return to Malaysia, when she was qualified for PR, to end up slogging 24/7 to be a slave and robbed by thieving scums of Putra Jaya.

  16. I sw this sign in a European city beside a floatation device along the coast. " Before You Steal or Tamper With Safety Equipment It Would Be You or A Friend Who May Need It Next"

May Third World Countries should modify it and place it at the entrance of their respective Treasuries to remind all those who are in a position to manage the nation's wealth.

  17. You have used many adjectives to describe the Malays but you did not use the word 'stupid'.

THIS IS WHAT DR MAHATHIR MEAN BY THETHIEVING SCUMS AT PUTRA JAYA ARE ROBBING THE MALAYS. THAT IS WHAT YOU GET WHEN PENCURI DUIT ZAKAT IS STILL LURKING AND TBHJ IS HEADED BY A THIEVING MAMAK,
ONLY ISIL CAN SOLVE THE PROBLEMS.

  19. This is my thinking of the Malay mentality in the kampong... I was eating cendol by the roadside stall in Baling (Kedah) 2 years back and had this Tapai added in... very nice...

I stopped over with my wife as we have been riding from Penang since morning out on a Sunday ride on our Honda bike....

The conversation in the roadside stalls amongst the Malays was about an UMNO Vice-President from Sabah... who was in a controversy back then for paying RM100,000 after each rendezvous with his actress mistress.

Instead of questioning where this VP got so much money or discussing about him straying from his marriage, these rural Malay folks were singing praises about the VP having good taste and being a great man to be able to throw RM100,000 per shot at an actress....

To me, that sums up the mentality of the rural Malay folks vs their UMNO lords...
