Let us now wait for PAS

There is a special prayer that Muslims do called solat Istikharah to seek divine guidance. Perhaps the PAS have done this and the signs show, this country is better in the hands of clueless Najib.
If PAS feel strongly for Khalid for whatever reasons they have, then they should leave Pakatan. They must team up with the 12 UMNO ADUNs to save Khalid. For without Khalid, Selangor is lost. There is none cleverer than Khalid Ibrahim to manage Selangor. The men closest to God in the Dewan Ulama can’t be wrong. Surely their payers are answered eagerly than prayers from heathen-like Muslims.
The 12 UMNO ADUNs have been instructed to support Khalid Ibrahim to stay on as MB. On paper there are now 13 ADUNs supporting Khalid including himself.
I wrote earlier, Khalid will listen to UMNO in not wanting to rush things. It is fortunate that the next sitting of Dewan Selangor is in November. I am not sure whether ADUNs can sign a petition requesting a dewan siting earlier than calendared. .
I hear many people say that only the Sultan can call for a dewan siting. If this is the case, then, in future the law must be changed instead of letting it be an ass. The law should be used to dispense justice and righting a wrong. Denying the members to dispatch a business of extraordinary importance and urgency is innately wrong. The business of the house should be determined and set by the sitting ADUNs. To me that ought to be with the aduns and  the speaker an overriding right to set about the business of the house.
For the moment, it appears nothing can be done until the house sits. When it does, we can see whether Khalid’s declaration that he commands the majority in the house is a lie or not. If its proven that actually he hasn’t got it all along, then he is lying to the sultan. If it turns out that way, I hope the most loyal subject of the King of Selangor, Syed Ali Al-habshee of UMNO Cheras will be man enough to condemn Khalid for being a heinously disloyal subject. I hope UMNO Cheras will then move a petition to strip Khalid of his Selangor honorific titles and maybe even declare him persona non grata.
What now for PAS? Because it has shown it supports Khalid , it does not have any choice but to declare it is breaking away from Pakatan. Then it can be with UMNO and strengthens the cause of the Malay-Muslm ummah something both UMNO and PAS have been fighting for. UMNO for the Malay and PAS for the ummah. That would be a partnership made in heaven and for a party admitting hat it speaks with divine right, it must be so.
This they must do so quickly because the Malay-Muslim ummah is in danger. They are the most economically disadvantaged. The King is threatened. The Islamic religion because the faith of its adherents is so ephemeral is being attacked by Christians and other heathens. PAS should not wait until the 17th of August to embrace UMNO.
It will now instruct its 15 states reps to align themselves with UMNO and Khalid Ibrahim. The move will make the people in support of Khalid to 28.
When that happens it will be a Mexican standoff. Because PR has 28 reps too, DAP has 15 including the speaker and 13 from PKR.
Because the next sitting is in November, this will provide time for UMNO operatives to scout out the lean and hungry among PKR and even DAP. Earlier on in my article, I singled out PAS and PKR as being being possible hunting ground for recruiting UMNO friendly ADUNs. Looking closer, it is not impossible to discover there may be some politician of conscience in DAP who may want to stick with Khalid.
If all the 12 PAS people can be induced with some immediate financial rewards, all 12 may jump on Khalid’s gravy train. All it needs now is to buy a few more from PKR say 5 of them and 3 from DAP. Set aside a budget of RM1 billion to make this agenda happen. Before November, Khalid can triumphantly enter the DUN Selangor and count heads. He will then submit to the Sultan, he indeed commands the majority in the house.
PAS can even negotiate to have one of its people readied to assume the MBship in the near future. It has more seats than UMNO and so it can demand the seat.
There is a flip side too. If because of Khalid, PAS decides to break away from Pakatn, it would perhaps been an opportune time for the Islamic moderates in Pas- the erdogans, the anwaristas or however they are described to leave PAS. They should form their own centre party and in a Malaysia whose people desire more of moderation than the extremism so loved by people like Nasarudin Tantawi, a separate party consisting of Islamic moderates will attract adherents. More Malay professionals will liely join such a party.
If that happens, in parliament PAS may end with only 5-6 MPs.
Come the next elections, PAS will emerge the losers because by that time, UMNO ought to have infiltrated the PAS held areas.

  2. Dear Datuk Sak

You forgot one very important thing:

Find more ways to tax the ordinary rakyat (preferably in less obvious ways so as to promote "revenue enhancement") so as to get more revenue to make up for the money spent on enticing PR people to jump.

    How?
    1. Raise the electricity tariff quietly
    2. Quietly reduce the "petrol subsidy" further
    3. Remove more "subsidies" on other everyday essentials -- > good for the rakyat: promotes health, teaches the rakyat to manage their money better and not spend frivolously, encourages more consumption of local products such as kangkung, encourages clever shopping such as looking out for RM1 chickens

  3. Dato,
In the nature of politics, MCA and Gerakan are holding their breaths that PAS will not join ranks with UMNO, because it will be kaput for these 2 maids-in- waiting, they will languish at the sidelines and watch as UMNO and PAS put up a makeshift patchwork with their own ambitions. MCA and Gerakan cannot work with PAS and vice versa. Next, will UMNO will then do a "Khalid" on MCA and Gerakan, and after that do away with PAS totally and forever because PAS will be so weakened by its betrayal of Pakatan? History has already given you the answers.

  4. Dear YB,
This mess would have been settled ages ago if a sitting of the assembly had been called immediately that the parties in question had decided that TS Khalid was not fit to be MB and that there was a better alternative. Or the ADUNs as a group had requested a meeting with the Sultan to inform him that they no longer had confidence in TS Khalid as MB. This would have been the proper and fair way of going about his removal.
The Sultan is not naive - and if he truly thought TS Khalid did not have support of assembly then he would not have kept him on.
Instead PKR leaders who did not even represent Selangor Constituencies started a campaign of innuendo against TS Khalid to put pressure on him. Also from the look of things PKR did not properly consult their partners and ADUNs on this matter. They did not even check if their alternative would meet with the approval of all plus most importantly with the approval of the Sultan.
We can't blame TS Khalid for this situation because one should be proven guilty with evidence and facts, not by conjecture.
We want the PR Coalition to be better than BN - and that means doing things fairly and without resorting to dirty tactics and insults.

  5. Salam,

If PAS prefer the "unity of Malay and Muslim Ummah" then declare live on TV to choose UMNO BN as their "sahabah".

But then if they still trumpet the unsettle issue of "hudud", so be themselves as lone ranger. How about 'rasuah' issue?

Quran never give teachings as what extremist Taliban style, ISIS Irag style or BOKO Haram in Nigeria claim. These groups are bullshit and killers using the name (hijacking) of Islam.

Quran gives very simple teachings for the benefit of all humankind, regardless of race, whatever religion.

As long as there are justice in the society, then that is true teachings of Quran.

'..PAS will emerge the losers because by that time, UMNO ought to have infiltrated the PAS held areas. '

This could be the ONLY light-&-right-hearted outcome from this infamous Selangor crisi!

Perhaps, this is what the ONE wants too.

No more ultra conservative utterances & extremism by those closest-to-the god, running around like chicken little ranting about the race&religion by the kaffirs.

Comes GE14, PAS would be limited to Kelantan, same like after jumping into the bed with umno in the 70s - an irrelevancy in a back-water state!

  7. Pas ! What can i say ? Come next GE ,sure bunkus in mixed seats.
I pity those moderates in pas cos they too will lose their seats.
Its ok suraya council, do what you want ,no sweat but dont be surprised to go MIA next GE.
It will be indeed great if the moderates in pas joins DAP hence dap will not be short of suitable malay MPs or ADUNS to fill up important posts.Eg PM,DPM,MB etc
I Hope PAS makes a wise decision by chossing to remain in PR or lose 85%of the seats they now hold in GE14.

  8. PAS clerics must have received some divine revelations from Allah to join force with UMNO.
When political decisions are to be made they just pray and then decide what that had already decided and claim its from Allah.
It will be foolhardy for the moderates - Sabu, Khalid Samad, Husam, Nizar, Mujahid, Kamaruddin, Salahudin, Hanipah, Dzulkifli, and the others to stay on in PAS and rot. They can bid farewell to their political future if they fails to quit and form a new party.
Even on a minor BM matter they have turn to Allah for an answer. How more stupid can a party be?
A new party by the moderates will soar like an eagle. It has a bright future as long as it have an ulamak dictating terms or be a spokesman for Allah.

  17. Why wait for Dewan November sitting. Precedent has been set in Perak and the Federal court has laid the law that you don't need a Dewan sitting to table a vote of no confidence before the Mb can be asked to resign or being dismissed from office.

32 Aduns have signed a declaration that they don't support Khalid. I think the Sultan knew this and that is why he is going overseas and refused to meet Wan Azizah. Azizah is ready to meet the Sultan armed with this 32 sworn declaration that the 32 nolonger supports Khalid.

By refusing to meet Azizah, the Sultan is not performing his constitutional role. Can he be sacked or ask to resign then as the Sultan is a creature of the Selangor Constitution and has to abide the constitution. Khalid is bluffing him and Wan Azizah has this 32 sworn declaration. Why can't he gives an audience to Wan Azizah.

  19. At this point, Pakatan should kick out PAS as they are now damaged goods. They will do more harm to Pakatan even if they finally decide to stay on.

Voters and DAP/PKR would definitely not trust them anymore. With a lot of UMNO mentality in their party, who knows that may anytime pull a fast one on Pakatan.

They may have Islamic credentials but their actions speak otherwise.

Let them get buddy buddy with the haram UMNO party. Soon, they will know their folly and Pakatan will never readmit them into their coalition when the time comes.

I have been proven right that the present PAS leadership is stupid, gullible and cannot think.

Lastly, they do not learn from their mistakes (remember the Perak powergrab?).

On hindsight, it is good riddance to Pakatan as the hudud hot potato will be kicked to UMNO's courtyard. Let's see how UMNO handle the hot potato and their component parties.

If UMNO say no to hudud, PAS will have to hitch a ride back to Kelantan and stay there forever.

  20. Hi Dato Sak,

Perhaps PAS' memory is short and their eyesight even more shortsighted.Remember the good old days before the sacking of DS Anwar Ibrahim when it, as best, could only win a clutch of seats fewer than all the ten fingers a person possesses? So PAS think it can win more ADUN and MP seats without being part of PR? Tell them to go fly kites if they want to betray the trust of those who voted for them because their PR status. PAS for all? Is Khalid an Umno clone? Many people seems to think that he is. Especially those barking master politicians and expert political analysts. If he is,that is the best well kept secret of the last 5 or 6 years. Then Umno must be a better spy agency than the CIA,Mossad and KGB.Not to forget the British agency famous for its James Bond movies. That must be super extra credits given to an undeserving Umno.

Last I heard that Muhyiddin and Umno are planning to give out gift vouchers and hampers to those that love to kiss their smelly asses.Rafizi,Sivarasa and Tian Chua are the first on top of the lists.

There are reasons why Khalid is so stubornly hanging onto his post, unknown to us.I mean we can speculate all we want, but that is just sheer speculation.Just like all those allegations in the dossier, just sheer allegations.

Have we all ask ourselves why Azizah only broke camp with Khalid when it was unevitable that Khalid must go,and not before.Have we all ask ourselves why Nurul has been keeping so quite while all this circus have been going around?

Now the ball is in PAS court. If they do not affirm their support for Pakatan and the change in MB, PAS will be seen as proclaiming to all Malaysians especially Selangoreans that they stabbed their partners in the back, and are now working with the very party (UMNO) Nik Aziz was supposed to have declared to all that would happen only over his dead body (or similar words to that effect, cannot remember the exact phrase, if you do, pls quote). Be careful PAS, it can happen also to you as soon as UMNO gets more powerful.

Going against Pas is to defy the divine.

    Good.

    Will Pas need dUMNo then?

Pas could just wave their holy wand and dUMNo would have no choice but to bow because to do otherwise would be to defy the divine.

Strange, that seeing themselves as divine's holy rep on earth, they don't seen to believe much in their own place in the divine scheme of things.

But of course, dUMNo can see through Pas's farcical posturing and will play along to bring them into their conjugal bed for another one night stand.

But I am just being irreverent here.

The day Pas leaves Pakatan or is expelled, is the day the road to Putrajaya really begins.

With Pas around, it has always been one step forward and two steps backwards.

Khalid can keep himself busy tilling the field for all we care, but Selangor folks are just waiting for a snap election.

Don't see how dUMNo has the guts to push for that.

Pas, well, it can try another sleep-in with their erstwhile lover.

Just hope for Pas's sake, they don't get dumped a third time and poor Nik Aziz be the one forced to lament the treachery.

Because that would be just too painful to even contemplate for a man many still hold in regard.

Khalid? Well, this potato can be anything he wants to be . Who cares?

PAS is an equal partner in Selangor.
It should have been consulted and sought approval from before DSAI started the 'Kajang move".
Secondly someone in PKR should have checked that any alternative would have got the approval of the Sultan. Quite clearly Wan Azizah is nit anak jati Selangor and HM clearly will not appoint her as MB.
TS Khalid is digging in because he is of the view that he was appointed based on performance and upon approval of HM.
This mess is all because Rafizi and Anwar did not check with PAS first and did not follow proper and fair procedures.

  41. In 2008 PAS was engaged to PKR and DAP. After the GE12, behind PKR and DAP's back HA and NMI were courting the more wealthy UMNO with HA's blessing. It was NA who objected and reminded them to honour their pledge to DAP and PKR.The courtship appeared to have been called off.But despite pledge of royalty, PAS has been to committing " khalwat" with UMNO behind PKR and DAP.Indeed Najib the "silent negotiator" paid a visit to HA and HD at their hospital beds recently. Those were the only only telling thing of has been going on after that going on. It is time PKR and DAP seek " nusyuk" from PAS.

  42. KI has until November. In the meantime. Now KI ans his PAS Exco can contribute RM 3.0 bil to Najib to give out the BRIM to the remaining ADUN.

  43. PKR Ulama is behaving like those the Zionist Jew in Israel. PAS cannot be trusted to keep and will breach its pledge or agreement to PKR partners.

PAS should be expelled from PKR before it is too late. Let it be devoured by UMNO at the next GE14.

  44. Lim Kit Siang is right. Unbelievable that Khalid is asserting that Selangor is not a Pakatan government, pointing out that the two-term MB had previously said repeatedly in both the state assembly and outside that Malaysia's richest state has been under the administration of Pakatan for six-and-a-half years.
Can anyone of us repudiate our parents? This begs the question, where did Khalid come from to sit in the MB's chair? Selangor rakyat has suddenly wised up to their MB.
Well, the saying you can fool some of the people most or all of the time, but not ALL the people all the time.

  45. Sour grape indeed. The only way to beat Pakatan is do it in their own way, i.e. matlamat menhalakan cara.

You are one too. prostituting to the chinese in Raub.

  46. The party that benefit most out of this pr political fiasco in state of selangor is no other than umno. It is a sense of SCHADENFREUDE to this crisis where pr is completely disarrayed and disunified because of simply the unexpected move by pas dun members. It shows clearly how fragile & disloyalty is pas to the coalition and how indecisiveness of pas top echelon in making a stand towards supporting the pkr/dap. This is a lesson to be learned here that pr is not as strong as bn and not as cleverly as bn. My prediction will be as follows:
    1. Having the full support from the sultan and umno, it is most likely that TSKI will survive as CM for state of selangor
    2. With abundant resources that umno had, it is very likely that few dun members from pas/dap/pkr will jump seats and declared themselves independent as the CM
    3. The government in power that control basically all the gov machineries will be in full gear as to ensure the success of the new state gov. Even more damaging to pr coalition is the hidden force within the corporate giants/glc/media that bombardly propagate the news on daily basis thus bring the perception to the rakyat that pr is doomed.

The only solution for pr is to get the immense/undivided support from all selangorians through whatever ways and means since the gov of sgor was actually brought up by the people. So let the people of sgor decide which gov they want. For pas, it is lessoned to be learned in the very hard way for pr.

  47. Dato, when Khalid was sacked from PKR,to it's leaders that is the end of Khalid's MB'ship and a new MB in Wan Azizah or other was inevitable.

Now every step PKR takes keeps hitting a brick wall.Is Khalid finally showing his critics that when push comes to shove,he can counter punch with such velocity to send his opponents flying to kingdom come.Is Khalid actually telling us that he is as good a chess player as Mahathir.

Or is it the incompetence, useless good for kissing asses and amateurish leaders of the PKR that makes Khalid shine?Either way Khalid is the one sitting on the chair with these minnows shinning his already shiny leather shoes.

Did anyone remember recently I said that Rafizi made Azmin look like a minnow swimming among kois.Well, this is a replay of who are the minnows swimming among kois.

Children used to hear their parents or elders telling them not to play with fire.Well,if the dudes want to play fire, then they deserve to get burn.Serves them right.

Is PAS actually that bad that it turn against the PR pact?Well, all remains to be seen.In the next few days we will know. For now we will have to give them the benefit of the doubt. They know that they got Anwar and his barking dogs with no teeth by the balls. They know that they can squeezed every drop of juice left and let them feel the f#cking pain down their spines.

Then as a compromise they will come up with a candidate both sides feel comfortable with.It might be because they wanted to checkmate Anwar. If it turns out this way,it will be good for the PR pact in the future.Because for my 2cts worth I have always said that Anwar is not the perfect leader to lead the PR to Putrajaya.

  48. Dear Datuk
I love you statement tha yhe law must be used to dispense justice and righting a wrong which LGE used something the rule of his government not so long ago.If the politicians can deliver this Ithink this world will be a wonderful place to live .However all policians only shout wonderful slogan such this and never practice it when they are in power.I have experienced this this afternoon while attending a meeting at a Penang that I attended this afternoon which make me lose hope in both BN and PAKATAN promises of this justice

  49. Is PR a legal entity?
    Recognised by RoS or not?
    A loosely cobbled coalition perhaps?

If there was not glue/cement to keep them together, why point fingers now at PAS for betraying an illegitimate coalition called PR?

TSKI on the cliff edge, anchored by HRH
PKR has already leapt off the cliff.
DAP insists on jumping after them still!
PAS about to face its baptism of fire

I am all for an independent MB and state exco. Historically it has been done before and will survive fine.

  50. Have you ever wondered why PAS insist of postponing their meeting to 17 August (even though it will hurt their credibility, if there is anything left now with the voters and DAP/PKR) bearing in mind the utmost urgency in making a decision on Khalid fast?

TO HAVE MORE TIME TO DO HORSE TRADING WITH UMNO!

Guess what will be the main agenda for the Sunday meeting?

    On Khalid Ibrahim? NO!

It will be the proposal to work with UMNO at the national level and especially the hudud issue.

If this is a no go, Khalid Ibrahim will then be the collateral damage.

If the green light is given, they will then only talk about the composition of the new Selangor govt.

As it is, PAS is now toxic to Pakatan.

Now, UMNO has already achieved their mission - to kill off PAS, even when the decision of PAS joining them has yet to be made.

    PAS is now finished.

    Bodoh PAS!

  51. Looks like DAP buggers are in deep shit now. Well, Uncle Lim will have to join his mentor LKY in Singapore yearning to have Chinese controlled politics in Malaysia. Sorry Uncle Lim, your imbecile son and you will not get that wish in this lifetime. Maybe in another lifetime ya? Hahahaha

  54. Wan azizah has pulled a major coup. Pas reputation in tatters, expect it to implode soon.

  55. Like I said before, give Pas the benefit of doubt until their meeting.Keep cooler heads and stop blaming everybody and their dogs and cats, and in KTemoc's blog the water buffalo too.

Why the hurry to rush with sworn statutory declarations and with two Pas assemblymen too.The panic button and acts of desperation is all over the PKR and DAP.Did not Rafizi said that PKR couldn't care less if they lose Selangor?

Show Umno/BN that you guys are seasoned politicians and not panicked school kids.Grow up PR leaders and politicians. And please do not dissapoint your hard earned support from the rakyat by being shameless cry babies.Remember, you guys are the ones who brought the circus to town.
