An honest man is not neccessarily a nice man- Tun Dr Ismail.
Bila
kita tengok suatu kumpulan Melayu menyembelih ayam dan menyimbah darah keatas
beberapa potret MP bukan Melayu kita sedih. Apa sudah jadi kepada bangsa
Melayu?
kos rendah. Yang pendatang duduk rumah besar, pangsapuri ratusan ribu ringgit
bahkan jutaan ringgit. Maruah Melayu, pemimpin Melayu tidak pula dianggap
tercalar. Maruah raja Melayu saya tidak hendak sebut, sebab semua mereka kaya
raya.
Ramai
Its always
a qualified loyalty and allegiance. Mereka yang cetek akal tidak faham konsep
bertaat setia. Demang lebar Daun semasa berbaiah dengan Seri Teri Buana dahulu
pun, mesyaratkan taat setia anak cucu dia. Selagi pemerintah(ketika itu Raja
lah) tidak menganiayai anak buah Mr. Demang, maka mereka taat. Tapi jika dianiayai
Malu kita
anak cucu Tok Gajah Imam Perang Rasu Abdul Salam bin Tok Shahrum jika menyokong
Muslim, tapi kurang Islam dilaksanakan.
Pagi2
tadi saya terima panggilan dari seorang sahabat. Dia berkerja lama dengan Tun
Dr Ismail. Kalau dizaman Tun Ismail, perkara seperti sembelih ayam dan provokasi
ganas yang lain pasti tidak berlaku.
Satu
daripada quotation Tun Dr Ismail yang famous ialah an honest man is not neccssarily a nice man. Ini prinsip hidup Tun
Dr Ismail.
pendapatan orang kampong?
Izinkan
saya cerita suatu peristiwa Tun Dr Ismail. Suatu ketika seorang profesor(
professor ini tapi Tun Dr Ismail kata- jangan, bring him to me.
Jadi
Tun Dr Ismail. Tun Dr Ismail bertanya pada professor itu- what kind of
professor are you? Professor itu jawab, saya professor ilmu geography. No, that
is not the question I am asking you. I asked , what kind of professor are you?
Apa
Akhirnya
jadi pertumparan darah. You hendak jadi that kind of professor?
that is not the issue. The issue is the poison letter you wrote. Ia boleh
meningkatkan ketegangan kaum.
This
is what I want you to do. You go back and withdraw all those poison pen
letters, if not I will put you under ISA.
Sebab
itu Tun Dr Ismail selalu kata, an honest man is not necessarily a nice man. Tun
Dr Ismail was prepared to be brutally honest.
Let us put these honest men,Anwar,Azmin,Rafizi,Najib and Muhyidin in one room and let them slugged it out.The one man coming out walking is the most honest of the lot.
ReplyDeleteGood point about the professor and Tun Dr Ismail story. Suppose that LKS called up Ms Kok and ask her to retract the video since it has cause very negative reaction, LKS could be in the same league of Tun Dr Ismail. That is the brutal honesty since like you said the pendatang behave better than the melayu yang miskin harta dan miskin perangai.
ReplyDeleteHuh..tersentuh hati akan atikal ni.
ReplyDeleteNampaknya pemimpin harini cuma pandai berpolitik utk kepentingan kerjaya politik dia aje dn xpandai nak membentuk sahsiah peribadi rakyat.

ReplyDelete"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually believe it. But the lie can only be maintained as long as the State can shield the people from the political, economic or military consequences of the lie. Hence it becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its power to repress dissent because the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, THE TRUTH IS THE GREATEST ENEMY OF THE STATE.”
-Joseph Goebbels, Hitler's Minister of Propaganda
The Biggest Deception…
UMNO is, in fact, a pocket-sized minority in this country, yet it continues to act like a tyrant !!!
Is Umno really that omnipotent that all of us living in this nation have to kow- tow to its wishes?
Let’s disinter some figures to study whether Umno deserved to throw its weight around as the so-called representative of the majority in Malaysia…
UMNO has been in power in this country since 1957. Its dominance in Malaysian politics has never been questioned as much as in the past 15 years, in fact, since Anwar Ibrahim was sent to prison.
The then UMNO Baru president Dr M was struggling to stay in power even as UMNO members were deserting him to start a reform movement that put justice and fairness as its top priorities. This movement has since evolved into a full-fledged political party called Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR).
If not for the support of the non-Malays community, Dr M and his UMNO Baru would have ‘bite the dust’ in1999.
However…what was later known as the 2008 political tsunami has indeed unlocked the minds of the larger populace of this country as PAS is no longer perceived as a threat to the Chinese community and numerous Malays also realized that the Chinese-dominated DAP was not made up of Communists or Christians either
The 2013 general election or GE13 has been a mind-opener too. Pakatan Rakyat coalition had in fact won the popular vote, securing 52% of the total ballots cast compared to UMNO/ BN, which only managed to scrape together 47%..
Yet many of the ordinary citizens are still afraid to be openly aligned to Pakatan, though that is fast changing, which is why many believe the current administration under Najib Razak is pushing hard to revive draconian laws so as to further scare the people into docility.
This is due to the brainwashing which UMNO has fed Msians for many years. It has created a myth that they are in power because they represent the majority of the population. Quite the reverse, when one start analyzing further, the truth will unfold itself.
As much as the Umno-led Government would have us believe that the Bumiputra make up 68 percent of the country’s population, the truth is that Umno only has slightly over 3 million members or about 11 percent of the country’s population. This is provided that Umno's record of its membership is true and not padded up in the first place.
The 68 percent in our official statistics includes the Bumiputra of 3.5 million in East Malaysia, where the majority of them are Christians.
The 'mamaks' or Muslim Indians such as Dr M and Shahrizat only constitute a small percentage of the 'Malay' population.
The Malays, including the Malays in East Malaysia, are only about 15 million against a population of 27 million in 2010 .
At 3 million, Umno Malays/members in verity only form 20% of the total Malay population, just 11% of the Malaysian population! The rest are either members of other political parties, such as PAS, PKR and DAP or just the silent majority who are fence-sitters.
And of the 3 million members, it is to be believed that many joined Umno to get a slice of the economic pie via nepotism..

ReplyDeleteWas Najib Razak, the prime minister, also picked by a vote of the majority or merely by some 24 UMNO Supreme Council Members?
Perhaps, this is one reason why Najib Razak, despite all the efforts to win the people’s hearts, could get nowhere compared to Abdullah Badawi earlier popularity that stated a simple slogan, “Work with me, not for me!”
Meanwhile, UMNO also has been using other races as their punching bags. And that is why, whenever there is an opportunity, the other communities would retaliate against UMNO which proves UMNO seldom lived in peace with other communities.
UMNO too is not afraid of any ethnic community but its greatest fear is for people like the Sarawak Chief Minister Taib Mahmud to desert the BN’s ship.
For this basis, despite calls by NGOs, an UMNO-led government will never hunt Taib. It is not that the government does not have enough evidence but Taib knows that he has UMNO’s nostrils by the leash.
Furthermore, money politics has never been an issue in UMNO, and knowing Najib's tenuous hold on power, the grassroots can demand more money for any mission that their leaders want them to perform.
To the grassroots, this is their ticket on the notorious UMNO’s gravy train, especially since ill-gotten wealth snatched by some of the UMNO’s elites run into billions of ringgit. After all, what are few more millions of Ringgit by comparison?
Deep in their hearts, UMNO leaders know that they can’t sustain to be in power the moment their delicate position is exposed. As such, they formulate every effort to boost their grassroots support.
Until 80 percent of the population begins to realize that it is the 20 percent “UMNO elites” that decide on their livelihood, the country will continue to descend the scale.
And the 80 percent majority are people of all races who are not in UMNO, who would very much like to see this country, become what it is supposed to be; a progressive and prosperous, free from corruption and power abuse !!!
Thus…
Tyranny, falsehood and mental slavery can only flourish when the people are frequently intimidated, hence terrified of the government.
There will only be justice, truth and liberty when the government finally is afraid of the people..
###
CQ…
It was a stupid video in the first place. And the idiotic fools of the ruling regime took the bait, all hook and sinker.Only the fools crowd and crow together.
ReplyDeleteCq,
ReplyDeleteGovernment stemmed from the word govern and to govern you need rules and order based on justice , truth and liberty. Apa yang merepek repek into it will happen when the government is finally afraid of the people. We are developing political awareness be PR or BN and people like you are subversive really and moulding militant like ideology to the people..
Government operate on rules and not by being afraid of people

Salam YB Sakmongkol,
Kerja nya asyik nak merabus je.......hehehe geli sungguh pemimpin gini.
Pendompok
I join Uncle Kampungman in prayers for the passing of your mum. AlFatihah to her. Semoga rohnya dibekati Allah. Ameen. Condolences to you and family.
ReplyDeleteDato,my condolences to you and family for the passing of your mother.

ReplyDeleteHmmm bro…u got it quite wrong…. What it means is…people are the masters of any county,,, not the other way round…. Cuz they are the one who paid their salaries n voted them into office…
Of course a govt. need laws n order to govern a country….but not the kind of some UMNO-made laws or policies that was only meant to enrich themselves and fortify their continuous power….not so beneficial for the rakyat in a democratic country….
One set of law for the ordinary people…while another set for UMNO/BN leaders, their families n cronies akin to an authoritarian country !!!
My condolences, Sak.
ReplyDeleteDato,condolences from my family.
ReplyDeleteS.E.
Condolences Dato Sak.
ReplyDeleteMy condolences to you and your family for the passing of your mother.
ReplyDeleteThanks for writing an educational article about Tun Dr. Ismail. Tun never liked Mahathir because he knew and have read the poison pen letter addressed to the Tunku. Mahathir would never be back in UMNO and become the leader had Tun Dr. Ismail were alive.
ReplyDeleteTDI would've long ISA-ed & threw away the key for this Malay wannabe & shit-stirrer cum Kangkung professor !

There are 2 ways to destroy the opposition with the following:-
ReplyDelete1) Legal way - is to use the political weapon to ISA/or police to detain those opposition representative if they are given a bad image to BN.
2) Illegal way - is using those samseng to threaten the opposition representative with cow head and chicken blood or May 13 because they are unable to bring the issues to court due to lack of evidence.
Street protest with threaten is a culture of BN now when they are unable to bring the issue to court and no one will be penalized if the protest is in BN favour. The minority Samseng in Penang/selangor is the good yardstick to gauge the double standard.
But unfortunately, the majority of malay muslim in Malaysia will be rewarded with intolerance race in malaysia.
BN has tarnished the good Malay Muslim in Malaysia as a whole. I wonder why the good Malay keep silence and let the minority BN cronies keep continue show their bad culture to other or the world?
1) legal way - is to use the political weapon to ISA/or police to detain those opposition representative if they are given a bad image to BN.
2) Illegal way - is using those samseng to treathen the opposition representative with treath
YB Dato Sak,
ReplyDeleteMy condolences to you and family.
"Why did we fight for Merdeka? So that the different races can be divided? That can't be the way, right? That can't be why all these great Malay and Umno leaders fought for this ... Something is wrong...
ReplyDeleteI hope the new discussions will start. Why are we building Malaysia? What Malaysia are we building? What kind of symbol is Malaysia supposed to be?"
-Ismail Abdul Rahman
I think the greatest contribution of this article is that it prompted me to read up on the man himself, Ismail AR. He played a huge part in Malaysian history and it's a shame a lot of his contributions won't be remembered by our future generation. Thank you Datuk, for your tribute to him.
YB Sak,
ReplyDeleteSo the update
My condolences to you & family
