Theatrics and the the serious business of government

It seems that the knee jerk response from some BN MPs when faced with dissenting opinions is to ask the other person to go elsewhere. Holding an opinion which only you and other members of the nameless mob believe, does not confer you a right above the equal rights of others. The equal right that I am speaking of is the right to exist as a rightful citizen of this country. And in the exercise of legitimate rights conferred by law including the right of freedom of speech in so far as it is allowed by law.
Why is there a right for one side to state a position permitted by law given, but reaction to that right which is permitted by law in the first place, considered a wrong and accordingly denied?
The outbursts by Bung Mokhtar Radin in parliament recently reveal once again who Bung Mokhtar is. It seems that he has taken offence about what the ceo of Asia x commented on what Utusan Malaysia said. And that according to the rules of Bung Mokhtar constitutes a rebellion against king and country and must be punished by asking the ceo to leave the country. Not so long ago, the same mob judgment was applied when demands were made for Ambiga to be hanged because of dissenting views she had.
What has the CEO of Asia x said that has raised the ire of Utusan Malaysia and whose hurt is now taken up by the pugilistic and pugnacious Bung Mokhtar? He has merely spoken up against the stupidity of placing blame on others for UMNO’s loss. UMNO and BN lost in all the urban centres except Johor Bharu and the UMNO owned media conveniently blamed the Chinese.
The theatrics of the likes of Bung Mokhtar reveal one thing. Most of the BN reps are in parliament have no focus on how to debate on issues affecting the wellbeing of the country as w whole. So in order to distract attention from serious discussion on the business of government, the leaders of the mob, feed off the hysteria generated by a complaint and subservient print media.

  1. Woe to the ignoramuses that blissfully enjoy being perpetually robbed, raped and abused by their cheating government.

You know Sak, sometimes I think it is best that the opposition just let the minority government increase petrol prices, TNB tariffs, school fees, bus fares, introduce GST, AES, and whatnots just to make it unbearable & more impactful to those who are either stupid or couldn't care less about the misdeeds of their cheating government.

For it is darkest, before dawn.

  2. The wonderful thing is this MP is being elected by the people in his area. Does this mean that majority of the people in his area agree with him? I do not know.

  5. Bungkum's just an uncouth court jester and as he regularly demonstrates, he's obviously of a less evolved species. So the serious business of government is definitely beyond cretins like him.
Unfortunately, there's plenty like him in BN.Perhaps it's the water they drink!

  8. YB, please tell me when have these so called govt mps been able to debate intelligently in parliament? If they had been able to even debate a little, without the thumping of hands, shouting, etc, parliament would have been televised live!
At most, they are good at snoozing, even in front of the camera, or merely shout aye aye to support. Ask them what they are supporting, they would probably give you a blank look. But to them, who cares, so long as my deep pockets are lined and I get all the goodies!
This is Bolehland!! Hurray, says those who voted for status quo the last time.

I totally agree with you so that those who voted for BN can have a taste of what they wanted and desired. Then they'll know what to do come GE14!

  10. Dato Sak,

You are being too kind to morons like Bung Mokhtar. This type of morons should not be in parliament. They should be incarcerated and thrown into a well for the rest of their natural lives as they are kataks di bawah tempurung.

  11. Dear Sak,

Mr Bung just like the majority of Bee Ends MPs lacks of intelligent, capability, capacity to think wisely as a politician shud be, to bring development to the public

Because of their shortcomings but at the same time dieing for attention from medias and their leaders by raising and supporting racist issues raised by them

What do you expect the Bung to do if not an MP, probably King of Jungle in Kina Batangan

  12. How could a nimcompoop like Bung Mokhtar Radin get nominated for the election in the first place and still get elected? This is really a disgrace and a great disservice to Malaysia...

  13. I guess we also have the right to ask him to return to the jungle of Kinabatangan and stay there for good.

  15. What a disgrace! What a bunch of morons BN has in Parliament!

Makes one wonder, are Malaysian electorates so blur, so uninformed, so lacking in ability to make a right choice?

Why do they keep voting back 'monkeys' of low calibre devoid of commonsense and seriousness, only out to talk rots and create confusion that stunt decision making and progress in Parliament all these years?

  16. Jong 4 July 2013 14:55,

One can only be worse than the excreta that one worships & elects as one's representative.

Lest one is cheated and not protest which reflects one's concurrence, cowardice, stupidity or apathy.

And one wonders, which are the ones that 'Dung' Mokhtar represents…

  17. Hi Dato Sak AK47,
Bung Mokhtar Radin - he is simply symptomatic of all that has gone wrong with our country. I am not sure if your readers agree with this view:- I think that when the time comes for Pakatan to take over the government, that is when we really have to decide on how to re-build the nation. I am not talking about simply putting the economy right and getting rid of corruption. I really mean - nation building i.e. to rebuild the trust among all the races, to rebuild the institutions of justice, law & order, plus a few hundred other stuff.

Its a long road, but we have already started it with GE12 and GE13. Now please finish off the miserable bastard known as Barisan Nasional. We have to move on. The rest of the world will not wait for us.

  18. You say things they don't like to hear....they, the Almighty, will attack you and call you all kinds of things, including a Traitor.

They are insecure and have no confidence to properly debate or discuss issues with you in a civilised manner.

  19. Nor do I hear any whispers from the longest serving MP, tengku Razaligh..
He is the most veteran and yet hardly utter a word in Parliment !

Good job and a very commendable performance. I doubt all the MPs can follow some of the terms used.

Hahaha, sandiwara again! Kinabatangan should have been developed 10 years ago but our MP was enjoying his 'star' status chasing starlets at tax-payers' expense!
