Its secretary Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan said these groups, which claimed to defend the rights of the people, have remained silent over Anwar’s move to engineer defections, which he described as undemocratic and an act of stealing the mandate of the people.
What does the above tell us? It tells us that UMNO is in real trouble. Never before has UMNO found itself having to fall back on 3rd parties to fight its battles.
Suddenly the UMNO big wigs, those travelling in style befitting their new found power and free wealth, face the naked realisation they are now the prey to the predator?
I thought the Bar Council is doing very well serving Pak Lah’s judicial agenda. The uppermost priority being the demonization of Tun Mahathir as the Butcher of the Judiciary. The man who victimised the sanctified Tun Salleh Abas. Tun Dr Mahathir whose judicial infractions made possible for the sacked and reinstated judges to get the windfall ex gratias?
The Bar Council is silent precisely because there are no laws policing party hopping. Unless a new legislation is made in parliament to address the onslaught of amphibious landings.
Which NGOs does Abdul Rahman Dahlan wishes to come to UMNO’s aid? Their silence on this matter is indicative of the mental deficiency usually associated with NGOs who are more into politicking, indulging in more shadow than substance and more hustle to the bustle. And more thunder than rain.
The more relevant question is, why doesn’t UMNO youth and senior UMNO leaders fight their own battles? Why don’t they reach out to the rakyat and convince them why they must continue to support the present political powers that be?
You put it so well bro!
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to the spirit of the keris wielded by the extra-big mouth Youth Leader? Will they continue to apologise again? Apologise that some of UMNO MPs are now with AnWar.
What do we expect of the Umno Youth now? They dare not even put up BN posters or wear BN TShirts in Permatang Pauh!
Shall we wish them ...RIP?
Just read the latest on AM Ubaidah’s and Matthias Chang’s. What a great news it is. Welcome back Tun, hand in hand with Ku Li.
ReplyDeleteDuring this absolutely critical time, we need a powerful and credible option to confront the real problem before us…
It’s “emergency” time. Let’s not dilly dally anymore.
Let us be united again; the way we beat the Brits in 46.
Semoga Berjaya InshaAllah.
