which supreme council decides?

Capo di Tutti Capi, Caporegime, Capofamiglia and Consigliere

Suppose that the UMNO GA is postponed to March or even June 2009.what are the reasons for that?
That reprieve would give enough time for Pak Lah and his boys to consolidate their positions.
Suddenly the PM realised the groundswell of discontent is so dense that he may not get sufficient nominations to defend his party post. Therefore he needed time to let his caporegime- Messrs Che Alwi, Hamzah Zanudin, Reezal Merican, Teuku Adnan mansor, Iron Mike Tyson( one who is immune to Australian prosecution) and others to travel the entire country to drum up support for him.
That prompts the question why is Pak Lah so insistent on staying on? The answer he gave which stated that he needed time to finish off some outstanding jobs, cannot be serious. If he cant complete them in so many years, how could he do so within a few months?
The real reason may be because of the so many vested interests that are linked to Pak Lah staying on, the business interests of family members- son, son in law, brothers, previous sisters and brothers in laws, political cronies. Yes, he too has got his share of the dreaded C word. Therefore Pak Lah needs to stay on to provide the political protection these business interests require.
There is also a possibility that Pak Lah does not actually intend to honour the 2010 passing of the baton. Its an idea that will be more honoured in betrayal than in conscience. The space between now and March/June 2008 will be sufficient to dig all the dirt required to bump off his opponents and remove threats including Najib’s.
While Pak Lah consolidates his position and Najib dithering, huffing and puffing on nothing, there will be a shift in allegiance in the UMNO heartland. Unfortunately, that shift will not gravitate towards Najib.
By this sleight of hand move, Pak lah is preparing the ground ripe for a complete rout of UMNO. Either at the hands of the barbarians at the gate, Anwar Ibrahim or Tengku Razleigh Hamzah becomes the new UMNO icon.

Ianya wujud tapi amat sukar dilihat.

SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI UNTUK SEKELUARGA DAN SAYA SEKALI LAGI
    MEMOHOF SERIBU KEMAAAFAN

  3. Mr sakmongkol.

    You said this,

"That prompts the question why is Pak Lah so insistent on staying on? The answer he gave which stated that he needed time to finish off some outstanding jobs, cannot be serious. If he cant complete them in so many years, how could he do so within a few months?"

Hehe so cool.. You’re right. The postpontment idea must come from his allies as you mentioned. Mayhuddin is getting vocal recently. The southern umno members are getting stronger each day. Ku Li and mahyuddin will surely get enough nominations. I hope pak lah won’t back off. It’s nice to see him defending his post. So that it’s a lot easier for members to grind him and his SIL kj. Was wondering if the purchase of the Indonesian bank part of the kj and kali works? It will surely surface during the campaign. Can’t wait for the best summer slam ever..

  4. I do agree with you, he had to drag on to cover up some unfinished business. Wonder did Mahathir had the same problems when he hanged on before he dare to let go?
