UMNO EXPECTS YOU TO

DO YOUR DUTY.

Now let’s see whether Mohammad Hassan, Rafidah Aziz, and others demand the resignations of :-

1. Zaid Ibrahim- for publicly saying that ISA is wrong whereas the government of Abdullah Badawi uses the ISA.
2. The MIC deputy minister who shares the same stand as that of Zaid
3. Dato Najib Tun Razak who appeared to have disavowed the MOA he had with Pak Lah over the transfer of power plan, when in fact it was agreed by the cabinet after being endorsed by the UMNO Supreme council.
4. any other cabinet members who object to an official cabinet decision.

Will Mohamad Hassan says he is sakit hati once again? And Rafidah – shall she say she’s not very amused?

Let’s see some consistency at work here. Mohammad Hassan was very vociferous in his condemnation of Muhyidin who is his superior in party ranks. Maybe because he owes much to KJ, that he needs to play one- upmanship to the hilt in front of the PM. And Rafidah need not worry her head off, as Muhyidn has said that he is ready to accept the consequences. Perhaps the two need not have to insult Muhyidin’s intelligence by suggesting the UMNO VP doesn’t know what to do.

For once Dato Johari Baharom, the UMNO chief for Kubang Pasu uttered the sobering truth. The real issue is to re invigorate the UMNO body politic. But Dato Johari, this will not be accomplished by dispensing empty verbal paracetemol, or aspirin, or tylenol. ( all have stomach upset effects).

You must now walk the talk and talk the walk. In other words, if this expression is too difficult for you and others to comprehend- more action and less talk.

This awareness that UMNO must be re-organised, re –engineered, must be acted upon. It must begin from the very top itself.

The Chairman of MUBARAK- the association of retired BN reps was only repeating what others have and indeed the majority has been saying to themselves, that who gets to be president, deputy president and 25 other Supreme Council members, must be determined by UMNO delegates. Which means to in fact, vindicate what Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah has been saying all the time.

And he has been saying? That the UMNO constitution provided the mechanism whereby all the office bearers are to be chosen at every 3 year intervals or at any such intervals allowable by the UMNO constitution. That there is no such provision enabling the questionable power transfer plan.

We the people, expect UMNO leaders to do their duty!
