Religious outrage but TLC on corruption. Tales by an unknown blogger. No 79

1. I so wished the same intense outrage, disgust and repulsive anger are directed towards corruption as they are towards the building of a Hindu temple.

2. So, we asked why do malays who are Muslims in name and deed behave like this?

3. It seems that malays are ready to call to arms over the jalan masid India Hindu temple. The spirit is applaudable.

4.even Malay ladies who have not even prayed at the masjid India and will not likely pray at the new mosque to be built, joined in the fray expressing outrage.

5. They go to that area to buy things from wisma yakin or buy costume jewelry and trinkets from the shops there . Most importantly to see and buy the latest clothing material from jakel or to oggle at the clothing material bought by Kak Rosie.

6. Malays, men and women, young and old have joined the fray expressing outrage, disgust at the temple. Outrage has evolved into racism, bigotry and religious intolerance where land granted to Hindus is vehemently opposed. See what it has developed the into?

7. How do you explain this evolution? To my mind, this is the result of years of indoctrination and lies. First by temporal xenophobic nationalism and paranoia. Second, by religious xenophobism and paranoia.

8. Type 1 corruption is almost a religion to the Malay firsters political parties like UMNO, bersatu and their like minded groups. The ecclesiastical warlords are constantly searching for some obscure religious dictates that see corruption as sedekah

9. These political parties share a common trait, they have no political will to control corruption. So, if the teacher pisses off while standing, the students do so while running.

10. A much beloved UMNO and the country's leader , once said that corruption is the grease that lubricates the machine and the engine for economic growth. UMNO people took the saying literally like a duck takes to water.

11. I am surprised that UMNO leaders, past and present are not under SPRMs radar while pas leaders are said to be. Hello, corruption is the oxygen to UMNO la.

12. We all know that pas operates on the principle, wa haramun kalau makan sorang, wa halalun kalau bbagi Dua.

13. And talking about the lack of political will, the pakatan people seem to have contacted this contagious desease. Why is that only Anwar seems to be shrieking and shouting here and there about combating corruption, while others do not.?

14. The harapan people, especially it's ministers including DAP folks are not making combating corruption as part of their job description. Or are they making hay while the sun shines?

15. So if political parties and the government have no political will to combat corruption, don't expect the people, especially the yak yak yay crowd to have the will and determination.

16. People ignore religious and moral sanctions against corruption. Not that they.are not present - they are, but people simply ignore them.

17. Or it could mean, that religious and moral values that see corruption as venal, are not rigorously instilled. Or they are not regarded as important and therefore society takes them lightly.

18. Lack of political will, flippant treatment of religious and moral values, these values not enforced rigorously, make society sees controlling corruption as something trivial. Some sections of the Malay community , see corruption as a petty and a nickel and dime issue, a necessary evil as it were.

19. As a result, sections of the Malay community, pedal the idea that corruption is not something to be ashamed of .

20. A community that is not ashamed of corruption has no honour and no amour propre.

21. As a result, these groups shamelessly ' pasar malam' the slogan ,apa nak malu bossku.

22. Groups that trivialize corruption are not worth our while to support. Now that you know parties like UMNO and pas actually support corruption, do we still want to support them? I hope not.

23. Since 1957,our education system never included corruption as a subject in our syllabus. To be condemned and despised at. If we did , perhaps we could have generations growing up hating and despising

corruption. 24. Instead, the education has come up with the zanny idea of mandating students wear jalur gemilang stickers on their shirts. Woi, all of us including the minister grew up without wearing such stickers on our school uniforms. And our love for the country is not diminished. 25. Then might as well asked all uniform bodies do the same. Police, customs , immigration and so on. Imagine the millions raked in by the sticker supplier/s.

26. I have a better idea. Why not have a photo of a young Rose Chan in all her glory, stitched on uniforms. I am very sure the uniforms will be much loved and preciously looked after .

27. Parents don't teach their children to hate and despise corruption. Taking other people's property, stealing and the like are evil and sinful deeds. Makan duit Haram is Haram and supporting it , is also Haram.

28. We mustn't discount the role played by the lying social media in shaping public opinion. Our social media is awashed with articles and narratives glorifying and celebrating corruption and the Corruptors.

29. How often are we being fed with nauseating narratives saying that Najib is a victim rather than a perpetrator. It's incitement asking us to subvert the law agitating for Najib to get full pardon and be freed. Have we forgotten about his role to be decided in the mother of all heists, 1MDB? 30. What are we to do, if he's found guilty? Again ask for an innocent verdict for a guilty person? Or call for public lynching of the judge?

31. Already a soft landing is prepared for Ismail sabri in the almost 200m graft case. Also by social media operatives saying the case is political.

32. We must never forget that these social media operatives are probably UMNO surrogates. The articles and narratives written by bottom of the barrel material , the bottom feeders and parasites from deep down the bowels of society.

33. If we sane members of society, surrender our critical thinking facilities, we are going to be sucked into the whirlpool of Bonhoeffers collective stupidity. The interests of the many hijacked by a few madmen .

34. The attitude of society as regards such a thing like corruption, is determined also by our own personal values system. If we are the weak and ambivalent type, we will countenance and support corruption. If we look at corruption as a nickel and dime issue, it means we don't care for the integrity and honour of society. We are a society with no shame, honour and amour propre. Imagine a Malay society described as one that has no shame honour and amour propre.

35. A society that has no shame and honour will likely spawn persons who commit corruption but have no shame honour and amour propre. They don't give a damn as to how society looks at them

36. Contrast this to what happened in Singapore in the early 80s. A minister was convicted for corruption. Unable to withstand shame and dishonour, he drank poison and committed suicide. Sorry, I have to use this example. My apologies to the family .

37. If the same stigma is felt here in Malaysia, the man to be charged with the almost 200m graft case would drink a barrelfull of poison. The man already convicted for corruption and is currently charged for grand heist under 1MDB would drink from an Olympic sized pool filled with cyanide.

38. That, grasshopper, concludes our 1st part of this article. In the next installment other aspects of the paradox of religious outrage but loving care of corruption will be discussed.

The new comfort zone. Part 1. Tales by an unknown blogger. No 78

1. The old comfort zone in which umno excels consist of 2 main elements -

2.

  • Play the race game
  • Play the zero sum game .

3. The way forward, for parties like UMNO, pas, bersatu the people at the lunatic fringe shouting maniacally, people with brains where the wires are short fused, are to play up racial strife and hostilities and strife.

4. That's why people like mad cow akmal is at the forefront finding 1001 excuses to flare up racial strive. Maybe with the blessings of the java boss, he quarrels with the non malays. Mind you, that, not only offends the Nons but law abiding malays too. Quarrelling with different races is 2nd nature to UMNO. Yet there are still some pockets of people rooting in for UMNO. God have mercy on them!

5. Then, there's the zero sum game they play. One race can only prosper at the expense of another race. The Chinaman got richer and the malayman got poorer. Chinaman becomes the object of derision.

6. The 'games' of the old comfort zone are played by the antiquated minded political parties. UMNO,pas and bersatu will become increasingly irrelevant.

7. They will become so as people's political awareness becomes higher and sophisticated. Simplistic and populist narratives will be disputed

8. Well tuan, Elvis has left the building. We are no longer willing to play the games of the old comfort zone. The games of the new comfort zone will never be understood by the antiquated parties mentioned. Nor can it be understood by their lackeys on social media.

9. First we need a pragmatic leader and leadership for the country. A leader and leadership that focusses on results rather than one that marvel at theories. I know the PM knows about all that jazz about pragmatism, but I will say about it anyway.

10. Among other things, pragmatic leadership focuses on practicality and adaptability, is results oriented, decides on the basis of data, focuses on efficiency, takes ownership of problems and not blaming others, has great communication skills to explain its decision, balances short and long term goals and so on

11. I am not going to explain the above in greater details. Except I need to say something on the seemingly contagious CYA( cover your ass) syndrome. People are fond of saying, oh this has been done before by the previous admin, when they were in power apa bikin?

12. True! But now you are power, what are you going to do? Haven't you heard of the saying, 2 wrongs don't make a right?

13. First, we must WANT a pragmatic government giving us results, practical and realistic. A plural society with diverse ethnicity, religion , culture and language needs a pragmatic government .

14. Not for us parties selling us master race ideology and religious utopianism.

15. Then we need a good government. How do get one? A good government needs good people.

16. Good qualifications help. We want leaders who are knowledgeable, understand concepts, do not require repeated explanations.

17. Now more than ever, we need honest leaders who don't succumb easily to the edifying effects of power .

18. We need leaders who can retain their composure. Not easily ruffled, calm and collected. Not break under pressure and respond maniacally to the slightest of provocation.

19. Shell ( the oil company) has a way of identifying leaders. Lee kuan yew was said to follow it's method

20. It goes by the acronym HAIR. Helicopter view , analytical, imagination and realistic.

21. H is the ability to see the big picture rather than being restrained by parochial views. When Anwar decides to go ahead of building a mosque on a trespassed land but allow Hindus build a temple on another site, this is an example of a helicopter view.

22. The bigger picture is the importance to preserve social cohesion rather than cave in to demands of religious bigots

23. Preserving social cohesion is in the interest of the nation. It overrides group interest .

24. Decisions to be made must be data and facts driven. Decisions based on spontaneous gut reactions must be avoided. These are foundations of analysis.

25. By imagination, we don't mean mental frolics or cartoon like fantasies. It means being able to foresee the consequences of ones actions. Then you can be accountable to them .

25 (b). Being able to foresee the course of actions and able to foresee their consequences, must be referenced to realities. Are the course of actions and their consequences, can they be realistically implemented. For example, can affirmative policies be dismantled now given overzealous Malay protection of the policies?

26. These are features of a good government which are cornerstone of the new comfort zone . obviously old comfort zone parties dare not face them. As a result, by natural developments, they will become irrelevant. Say goodbye to them

It's worse than just a slap. Tales by an unknown blogger. No 77

1. If the malayman who slapped a Chinaman (unlawful )for eating in public(lawful), on account of a badly written charge, the fault is with the state legal advisors office.

2. Investigate the person who wrote the charge. That person may have deliberately written a fuzzy report so as to 'restraint' the judge.

3. Even better, transfer the SLA for not ' proofing ' the charge before it's sent out.

4. The charge badly written, would force the judge(who interprets the law and finds accordingly) to have no choice but to grant a DNAA. A DNAA is actually a guilty verdict but for some technical glitches.

5. Now we see it, through the eyes of reasonable men, a DNAA in truth generally is a guilty verdict .

6. Hence those who were given DNAAs have no reasons to gloat. They are really guilty .

7. In the slapping case, obviously the judge does not believe in judicial activism ( being unelected) nor does he have the urge to consider policy considerations nor apply a bit of common sense.

8. Some policy ramifications include:-

  •  result in copycat slapping elsewhere.
  • fears that things worse than slapping will occur.
  • gives impression that people can take law in own hands.
  • embolden religious fanatics and religious vigilantes.
  • others live in constant fears.
  • energise the xenophobic supremacists to pick a fight.
9. For these reasons, the executive branch must interfere to correct the wrongs.

10. Now let's discuss about the assailant. He's called assailant because he assaults, doesn't he? Or defendant (sedap sikit dengar).

11. I think in law, there's a concept called eggshell skull rule(hey, I like the novelty term, eggshell skull rule). The defendant takes the victim as he is.

12. To me la, the reverse is also true. We must also treat the assailant as he is .

13. That means, we ignore whether assailant has got personality disorders, whether he got pressures at home, whether he didn't get his ration the previous night etc. He must be held accountable.

14. Don't get sentimental. Oh he's 65 years young, he's Malay, a fasting Muslim, he wears a robe probably UMNO some more and so on.

15. These shouldn't be treated as mitigating and ameliorating factors

The slapping incident. Some preliminary thoughts. Tales by an unknown blogger. No. 76

1. When writing "jungle book", Rudyard Kipling said strange things happened in the jungles of India. In our country, stranger things happened in the legal jungle.

2. In the slapping case , the judge ruled that the 65 years old Malay man, fasting, a Muslim wearing a robe be given a DNAA.

3. Then it was reported that the AGC countermanded this ruling by saying ,after a few glitches, the DNAA is rescinded.

4. Boleh itu maciam kah?

5. Pardon my ignorance, but I thought as many do, that the judge is the final arbiter in cases brought before him or her.

6. If what is reported is true , then the conduct of the AGC tantamounts to usurping the authority of the court. This maybe grounds for contempt of court or any other charges lawyers can creatively come out with.

7. So which is which? That's why I say stranger things can happen in the legal jungle.

8. If it's true the AGC said that, it reflects badly on the quality of people in the AGC.

9. This is what happens if you have numbskulls in the AGC. We must demand now that the AG must be a 1st class holder and the lawyers in the AGC must be at least of 2nd upper material.

10. Otherwise statements like that issued by the AGC, which are usurpive and contempt of court in nature, will be the norm of an imbecilic AGC.

11. What the AGC said maybe grounds for contempt of court or maybe not. The case is over and not ongoing. But its certainly usurpive in nature.

12. I would have thought, going through the process, if the AGC is not happy with the decision of the court of 1st instance, it can appeal to the Appeal Court. If still not happy, it can go the Federal Court

13. Or was the response by the AGC, a knee jerk response of the AGC to the PM's condemnation of the slapping incident?

14. Note that the PM did not dispute the decision of the court( that's the business of the AGC or the DA) but condemned the slapping incident.

15. That proves my point . The legislature and especially the executive are the custodians of public policy, the greater good, public interests and keeper of the People's conscience. At times he must interfere in judicial decisions when they are patently wrong and go against public interest.

16. I am not going off tangent to discuss the issue of judicial activism vs judicial restraint. Let lawyers argue about that

17. The judge in this particular case may have directed his mind to considering of extraneous factors that have got nothing to do with a case of assault and causing bodily harm.

18. Or the charges were badly written, that the judge had no choice but to give a DNAA.

19. If no. 18 is the case, then we come back to the points in para 9. I think this point was also raised by lee kuan yew , when he cited an example of a lawyer with 4 O- levels with a lawyer with 10 0-levels.

20. With the four O-levels lawyer, you've got to explain things to him several times. Similarly to make sense of what he wrote, one has to read his material over and over again

21. If that were the case, reflected in the charges he wrote, he should be given the sack. And never to practise.

22. Whatever it is, the assailant as of now, got a DNAA. We are not certain if he has been recharged. Again that's a whammy for the DA and the AGC.

23. If he got a DNAA it's disgusting. Raises repugnance, shock, distrust in the judiciary and our law deserves public opprobrium.

24. Imagine a person who hears voices in his head giving him a religious license to do as he pleases, a self appointed vigilante and a robed crusader going around roughing up people. Such a chap should be locked up in a mental institution.

25. I think it was Sukarno, who understood the psychology of the average Indonesian. Give the average Indonesian, a uniform and he transforms into a beast!

26. Here, a 65 year young man, a Malay, Muslim , fasting wearing a robe, the defacto uniform of the seemingly religious, slapping a Chinese, non Muslim and therefore not fasting. As sir Thomas Moore asked, on whose authority?

27. He takes the law into his own hands. Push it to the extremes. Women with tight clothing or arousing him can be molested, men with no moustache and bard can be hurt and so on

28. Public policy demands he be punished accordingly and not given a suspended sentence on account of some technical glitches.

29. I read somewhere on FB, some joker asked why the fuss about the slapping. Move on.

30. That's typical of the yak yak yay crowd. Treat everything lightly and have fun.

31. Stealing is fun, lying is, mocking the judiciary is fun, slapping other people causing them bodily harm is fun.

32. We don't move on mappilay, the man must be taught accountability. Every action must be met with equal reaction. Having made the bed, he must now lay on it!

Old vs new comfort zone. Tales by an unknown blogger no 75

1. Friends asked for my opinion about the outcome of the recent dap elections. I told them I am reluctant to do so . I don't want to because of reasons only I know. But when I heard some people say the Lim dynasty is despatched unceremoniously and the DAP is no longer in a comfort zone, I have to say something after all.

2. All these opinions coming from armchair analysts are simply wrong. Admittedly these opinions unconsciously reflect their UMNO dna.

3. In an earlier article,I wrote Lim guan eng must accept the desire for a change of guards. He mustn't see his demotion as it were, as a rejection of his legacy or of Lim kit siang's.

4. The DAP will always be known as the party that LKS built.

5. Hence , the smug and gleeful view of opinions of seeing what happened at the DAP congress as an ungrateful despatch of the lims legacy, is wrong

6. It's political darwinism in action. It's adapt or be irrelevant.

7. On the other hand, parties that refuse to adapt, like UMNO, pas, bersatu will be extinct.

8. The new adaptation I am talking about, is moving away from confrontational and pugilistic politics to one that is willing and reason out with various stakeholders in the country.

9. What comfort zone are we talking about? It's old vs new comfort zone.

10. Parties like UMNO , pas , bersatu and other Malay supremacists, are snug, commodious and reposeful in the old comfort zone.

11. The old comfort zone where racial strife, hostilities and differences are accentuated. The old comfort zone that sees life as a zero sum game.

12. These parties see their relevancy beng affirmed only by way of hostile narratives, by championing xenophobic utterances. 13. In a zero sum world, the Chinese prosper, the Malay suffer. The Chinese get richer, the Malays get poorer. Seems the area in which malays excel is corruption.

14. The old comfort zone is compatible with parties that refuse to adapt. Well, adapt or perish. This old comfort zone is also embellished by UMNO DNAied social media operatives.

15. DAP is moving to the new comfort zone. Where things like ethnic unity matters, good governance matters, law and order matters, shared prosperity matters, education for all matters, eradication of corruption does, political stability is a premium etc

16. The DAP defines the new comfort zone and will not let unadaptive political parties define it.

17. The instrument by which the new comfort zone will be achieved is the newly elected DAP leadership.

18. The changing of the guards shouldn't cause any consternation among grass roots DAP people. Trust the leadership of Anthony loke and the new praetorian guards.

19. Some UMNO people must be daydreaming or have ingested copious amounts of daun ketum. They say DAP will suffer the same fate of MCA. Huh, UMNO finally admits that MCA is but a footnote in it's playbook.

20. Its like kettle calling the pot black or like the Malay says, the tray(dulang) says the nail is chipped, saying about other people, you overdoes it.

21. It's UMNO, which refuses to adapt that will become increasingly irrelevant. And that will not be understood too by the UMNO DNA -ied social media operatives.

22. You know what the DAP changing of guards means and symbolizes? It means the DAP acknowledges the increasing maturity of Malaysian society.

23. It acknowledges that society has matured. Willing to be engaged and listen to rational reasons. It's ready to eschew xenophobic nationalism and xenophobic religiosity.

24. The DAP is ready for it and this is reflected in the new leadership . Willing to engage and reason with Malaysian stakeholders. Get behind the leadership of the sec-gen.

DAPs pledge of loyalty to Anwar. Tales by an unknown blogger. No 74

1. A few big name political parties were noticeably absent from the DAPs 18th congress. We can assume they were not invited.

2. BN, GPS and GRS were not invited. UMNO is considered BN as mic and mca are considered UMNOs minions only .

3. The fact, they were not invited can suggest they were not considered as core parties of PH.

4. They were just mentionables. They were mentioned by the pm in his speech as a matter of politess .

5. So, the parties that remained were the OG, the originator of the PH group. the lower case g refers refers more to umno-the thieves, morbid racists, the real exploiters of race, religion and King. Avoid it like the plague.

6. However, we do want to discuss who were invited and who were not . Of particular interest to us, was the promise made by DAP that it would be loyal to Anwar.

7. To cut to the chaste, it means don't trust UMNO. UMNO is only a fair weathered friend. While it's leaders in the cabinet may pretend to be loyal to pak sheikh, its people are constantly destabilizing Anwar.

8. There, I say it! Never trust UMNO. Zahid the diffident and vacillating UMNO leader can't control the loose canons in UMNO . always covering it by saying that democracy in UMNO Is alive . The truth is, UMNO is hunting with the hounds and running with the hare .

9. Have we ever heard or seen UMNO declaring undying loyalty to Anwar? No! yes,? It can't as a matter of conscience. It's always plotting to oust Anwar.

10. The fatal mistake, is to invite a mortal enemy to share power with you. Please remember that?

11. Don't listen to a few desperados describing the relationship between UMNO and DAP as umdap. What is that? There is no love lost between the 2. They are strange bedfellows learning to tolerate each other as is allowed. They learn to coexist peacefully for the time being

12..listening to DAP is listening to excellence. Listening to UMNO is listening to mediocrity.

13. Now, let's explore the symbolism of DAP pledging undying support for Anwar.

14. Anwar can only trust DAP and by extension AMANAH. These are the OG which have swum and sank with PKR. They are proven material.

15. By reverse reasoning, never trust UMNO.its a fair weathered friend. It clings on to PH in order to retain power and remain relevant to malays.

16. More importantly, trust in DAP and AMANAH , in the sense of a fukuyama trust involves reciprocity .

17. By pledging loyalty to Anwar, the PM must reciprocate with an instantaneous goodwill gesture. No, not by kowtowing to DAP - that would only please Malay supremacists, that Anwar tunduk kepada DAP.

18. The reciprocity asked is by being always circumspect of UMNO.

19. Itu saja!

Unscrambling the PM's speech at the DAP 18th national Congress. Tales by an unknown blogger. No 73

1. The PM's speech at the 18th DAP congress was interesting. Of particular interest to me was his admission that it's extremely difficult to rule a country with different races, religions, demands etc .

2. Unfortunately, the ramifications and import of the opening remarks were easily lost on many in the audience.

3. That is, as soon as the PM gets into his constipation mode, punctuating and exerting verbally the rest of his narrative.

4. The message he wants to impart will be lost on the crowd as they become mesmerized by his oratorical skills.

5. Those are the perils of being a demagogue orator. That's why plain and as a matter of fact narrative is preferred .

6. But we can't change the way the pm speaks. He is gifted in that. No one in Malaysia has that skills. When I was studying at UM long ago, girls would swoon when he talked. Some, already older now still have the young girls excitement.

7. So, allow not so bright me, break down what the PM says to you. Ok people?

8. It will become extremely difficult to rule a country with diverse people with different cultures, religions and so on. If you try to be all things to all people and try to please everyone.

9. Tablay itu maciam, dei thamby.

10. Don't be a political hydra, that creature with many heads. You use head A to talk to malays, head B to Chinese, head C to indians, heads D, E ,F to other races. Always saying things each community wants to hear

11. Be a man of all seasons, consistent to a set of principles rarely changing them in response to situational pressures.

12. Luckily for all of us, the PM has affirmed that he will remain consistent. Despite the competing and often conflicting demands of the various races, he will give effect to the heartbeat and pulse impulses of the Malaysian people as a whole. His unchanging principle is that no one race will be marginalized. That's comforting for us. We must support such a man .

13. Just look at the terrifying alternative..if the PM were to listen and pander to the demands of the racial supremacists, Malay for example, what do we do? Drown all non malays in the ocean?

14. It's not just a smarmy call to support him. It's in the interest of the greater good

15. I have told you, when the PM gets into constipation mode or push the baby during childbirth mode, we stand no chance. We will be swept away and mesmerized by his oratorical skills.

16. Listening to the PM's speech per se, wasn't it, inadvertently a death knell for guan eng?

17. From guan eng we get grouses, whining and veiled threats. From loke, we get hala tuju, policies and the way forward.

18. Between the 2, which one do we choose? Even jinjang joe knows which to choose.

19. I am not siding with either one. I know both personally but loke was the one who persuaded me to join the DAP. He was the national organizing secretary then.

20. Looking at the outcome of the dap elections, guan eng has to accept the desire for the changing of guards. Accept it gracefully, 'bloder'.

21. Next, listen to the views of the PM on the speed of revolutions, reforms and changes. If rushed will end in failures. Look at Poland , France and chezchoslovakia.

22. But it shouldn't be done leisurely either. The point is not fast or slow, but to it with great care and meticulously.

23. And forget about politeness, niceties and sentimentalism. Revolutions, reformasi must be violent in nature. 24. A revolution, ' reformasi' are not like doing embroidery, doing a painting or eating pasembor and drinking teh tarik. It's the violent overthrow of the old and decrepit regime .

25. There was 1 particular aspect which the PM mentioned in his speech. We now move on to a hallowed ground subject matter, the independence of the judiciary.

26. I will confine myself only to what the PM understood it to be in that speech although I have my own opinion on this trias politica concept coined by Montesquieu. That will be the subject of a separate article I hope.

27. To the pm,in that speech, independence of the judiciary means absolutely no interference by the executive into the business by the judiciary in the dispensing of justice. Ok la, I accept this admission for the time being, although I had wished the pm would have added the proviso, ' provided the judiciary does it's functions without fear or favour and most importantly with HONESTY.

28. Provided the judicial fraternity does its job without fear or favour and most importantly with HONESTY, then there ought to be absolutely no reason for the executive to grope it like Clinton did..we are comforted by the PM's empathetic and assertive assurance on this matter. Hurrah, belts off pants down dicks out

29. If the pm says, under his rule, there was and will be non interference in the judiciary, then the many disagreeable things to emanate from the judicial fraternity, siapa bikin pak sheikh?

30. The lhdn lawyers must have acted with bias and unfairness, when Najibs daughter who owed 10m back taxes was forgiven. What about the millions owed by the sons? I am saying this to be unfair when so many salary earners like my own daughter , are called by the lhdn to undergo forensic accounting. Did Najibs children be made to undergo the same ordeal?

31. The prosecutorial team must be incompetent and 3rd grade MCE graders for dropping charges against Reza Aziz and giving DNAAs to people like Zahid and Najib Ali babavum.

32. Judges must be corrupt to easily give in to these unjusticiable infractions. Tiu Nia seng!

33. I am not making up this last accusation ya..last 2 years, a friend an ex MB sent me a document on corruption. I was horrified to learn from the data, that the incidence of corruption was highest among the judiciary. Higher than lawmakers!

34. So pak shekh, the notion of non inference of the judiciary may be right in Montesquieus ideal world but not in the world of realpolitik.

Najib type of bailout v Anwar type of bailout. Tales by an unknown blogger no 72

1. Try as he may or carry out verbal acrobatics and semantics, the 1.1b extended to Sapura to pay off a phalanx of vendors, it's regarded as a bail out anyway.

2. Let's call it Anwarbailout, a particular product of anwarnomics. this is to differentiate it from najibbailout ,a product of najibnomics.

3. So , it's Anwarbailout v najibbailout.

4. The differentiation is necessary because the mad cow diseased UMNO youth chief, thanked Anwar for adopting Najibs proposal to bail out Sapura.

5. Wait a minute you landlubbers, there are differences between the Najibbailout and Anwarbailout, as we shall see later.

6. Anyway, no shame UMNO , ever the opportunist, will stake a claim for doing something of which it has no part at all .

7. As the Malay saying says, the milk is produced by the cow, the cattle gets the name .

8. The Najibbailout is a carte blanche for Sapura. Just give money and let Sapura does with the money any how it likes. Owners and management can even stuff the money in mattresses, pillow and bathtubs. Just don't forget to donate some to UMNO and some politicians individuals.

9. For Dr Mahathir, the man who can walk on water, bail out is an opportunity. An opportunity to put in his cronies in the target company and channel funds to it.

10. That's how UMNO and Malay supremacists understand what a bailout means. It's just a glorified income transfer. Not paying back pun tak apa. Malay owned companies are entitled to government largesse.

11. The Najib or Mahathir bailouts would have the same effect. It's business as usual as money comes easy.

12. The same enabling structure allowing rapaciousness, greed, reckless investments, profligate spending etc will still b there . What do you think will be the results?

13. The Najib type of bailouts will perpetuate business doomsday.

14. So anyone thanking Najib for pointing the way to his type of bailouts, deserved to be ostracized and deserve public opprobrium.

15. Knowing the measure of the man, the Anwar type of bailouts, would entail the following. At least, I hope they do .

16. The main difference is that under the Anwar type of bailout, the enabling structure that allowed the mess to happen to Sapura is dismantled.

17. I am not 100% sure the things I am about to say have taken place, but I sure hope they will happen.

18 . Carry out changes in the ownership of Sapura. Let new shareholders come in. Do away with the astronomical remuneration packages enjoyed now

19. The BOD must consists of people with excellent technical and business knowledge. They must be Malaysians not necessarily must be malays. We don't want a case an LCE graduate is a bod member so long as he is Malay.

20. Learning from the case of Sapura, there must be an oversight committee separate from the bod. It's to evaluate every big investments.

21. Certainly, the CEO must be removed and most of the management team be cashiered.

22. I am in favour of breaking up Sapura into 3 or 4 separate profit centres. Let them compete on the parameters, I mentioned in an earlier article.

23. Forget about sentimentalism when dealing with Sapura. The PM must adopt the attitude, I am not interested in preserving the status quo but am interested in overthrowing it.

24. You see, the Najib type of bailout preserves the enabling structure creating the mess Sapura is in while the Anwar type of bailout removes it. Big difference, towkay.

Cleaning the Sapura Shit. Tales by an unknown blogger. No 71

1. These are the economic reasons why I think ,bailing out Sapura is wrong as a matter of principle .Nevermind, if it's camouflaged under the pretext of paying vendors. Almost all are bumis .

2. I am not going to wail about the PM pandering about bumi vendors or about helping Sapura vendors but what about Malay farmers?

3. These are not economics reasons but political score points. Only politicians do that. As one prominent person said, I am not interested in being politically correct, only correct.

4. These people are just mouthing Democratic party empathy , sentimentalism, cafeteria socialism, smoked salmon socialism etc.

5. We are tired of these self appointed social justice warriors behaving sanctimoniously, regarding themselves as the only ones who can speak about bumiputera. If other than them, the PM for example,he is just being opportunistic.

6. Our economy is a private enterprise economy. It's based on profit and loss principles. The loss part is more important. It's the principle that weeds out the incompetent, poorly managed and badly operated companies .

7. Government bail out prevents the self correcting principle of a market economy .

8. Have the bozo mcs officers at MOF and other departments actually think about the costs of bail outs?

9.sapura is a company probably founded on UMNO values. Get an exclusive license, monopoly, privileges and make as much profit as possible. Confound careful investment decisions. If fail, ajib gor or wak jahid can help ( when they were in power). Just spend, baby spend!

10. Being a creature created by private enterprise means, if it gets into a mess, use private enterprise solutions. Not public enterprise solutions. This is the incompatibility issue.

11. This is wrong number one . Sapura is a car running on petroleum products. Now it wants to switch using fresh or salt water.

12. If u mix water with petrol ,your engine will produce knocking sound and your engine will eventually koyak

13. If water is mixed with jet A1 fuel or aviation fuel, the water will freeze over a certain altitude. The plane crashes.

14. Later , the government bail out will crash down bringing with it, taxpayers money, sapura, the vendors and the government. They will never get repaid .

15. If I see the goons who advised the PM, I will circumcise them a 2nd time.

16. Long ago, when Anwar then was debating the issue and quite badly at that, I wrote articles opposing any form of bailouts.

17. I mentioned about profligate spending , reckless investments. Perhaps, there were some corruption elements in the joyful spending. Maybe the authorities need to investigate on the joli katak spendings no?

18. As fish rots in the head first, change sapura s ownership and replace most of its management team. They are the ones who caused the mess in sapura in the first place..

19. Now , we come to the thorny issue of the vendors. We must remember they made a conscious, deliberate and voluntary decision to do business with sapura. They knew of the risks and gains .

20. Having made the bed, they must now lay on it .

21. Sure our democratic party empathy, pompous caring for others, our LV and caviar socialist leanings make us pity them .

22. But the bugger who owes them is sapura. By helping to pay them, we are in effect bailing out sapura.

23. Now that pak sheikh has already decided to help them because of his kindness and sentimentalism, there's nothing we can do. Except I hope he will be mindful of what I have said.

The Sapura bailout. Tales by an unknown blogger. No 70.

1. As details about the 1b bailout of Sapura comes slowly, I will come up with the appropriate response.

2. A bailout by any other name is a bailout . Saying it's for paying vendors, insults our intelligence.

3. Now, call me a neo classical dude, a Friedmanite, Austrian school Hayek stooge or just a pain in the ass confused economist, be my guest. Stepping in to save Sapura on account of saving vendors, is the government -saved jobs fallacy.

4. What it does is to prevent the efficient allocation of resources by rewarding poorly and badly managed company and punishing the good ones .

5. When the US government bailed out Chrysler, it didn't do it for lee iacoca ( cola,). No siree, it says that because it wants to save jobs and vendors.

6. The American consumers don't use or consume the parts supplied to Chrysler, the steering wheels, gears, door knobs, glass screens etc. in other words, consumers are asked to pay for things they don't need, on their own. If they can afford it, they buy completed cars assembled by Chrysler.

7. What happened to Sapura , happened to Chrysler in the 1970s. The government thought it's saving Chrysler by bailing it out. To cut the long story short, the US government didn't.

8. Similarly the Malaysian government is using the save jobs fallacy to bail out Sapura. It's doing it the wrong way.

9. The government should allow Sapura to fail because its poorly and badly run. Let new owners take over and run it well. Vendors can choose to do business with new owners. As to old owners take a class action against them.

10. Hey, our economy has been described as a free enterprise system, market economics.

11. The lynchpin of that system, is profit and loss. Not profit alone. Sometimes the loss part is more important as it endures poorly and badly run companies are weeded out. Like Sapura.

12. Success can be a bitch..if intervention in Sapura is successful, it might embolden policy makers intervening in other industries even when it's not warranted. Then night as well have businesses run by government officers

13. Bailouts would distort the market. By propping up an inefficient company, would encourage other companies to also behave irresponsibly knowing uncle non would be there to help.

14. By allowing unviable companies to fail, would be good for the market. It allows capital to flow to more productive uses.

15. Not holding that against Sapura, it's just business. Then, there is the moral hazards argument. Companies would take unnecessary risks knowing if they fail, some do gooders and special interest groups in the government will come helping .

16. I am not faulting Anwar for citing bumi matters. That's for politicians to do. I am just presenting cogent economic reasons. Although I am a politician, I am also interested in economic reasoning.

17. Playing the race game, is the favorite pastime of UMNO politicians and Malay supremacists. Hidup melayu!

18. We cannot reward the inefficient and punish the competent .

19. One final stupid question.. pardon my ignorance. If the 1b is for the vendors, register them. Pay them directly. Don't pay sapura.

Saving sapura, the orang minyak. Tales by an unknown blogger no 69

1. I am speaking as an economist. The question I am asking is where is the economics logic behind the 1 billion bailout of sapura energy?

2. Thats taxpayers money being used to save an inefficiently run company.

3. Because it's innefficiently and incompetently run company, is the reason why it was making losses in the beginning.

4. And yes, before some jokers say, sapura must be saved because this is maruah melayu, let me a Malay say it first - this is the usual fate that inevitably befalls a company run by the yat yat yay race .

5. When the issue was being debated by Anwar then who wasn't yet the PM, I cited some reasons as to why sapura energy shouldn't be saved . 5(b). Unless the entire management is changed. The ownership is restructured. Workers employed in accordance to merits and efficiency.

6. We have only been told of the bailout. Information of the things mentioned in para 5, have not been answered.

7. Instead, there seems to be a triumphant celebration that a bumi company, incompetently run doesn't bite the dust .

8. If there's no change in ownership, management and employment structure, we are allowing the same bozos repeating the same mistakes.

9. There will be the same profligate spending, bad investments and wrong investment decisions, ignorance of socio economic environment, careless employment structure, incompetent CEO etc. it will be more of the same.

10. Anwar Ibrahim may have been ill advised by Tom Selleck the 2nd FM and the various special interest groups. The officers, friends, reformasi otais etc.

11. If there are no rational economics reasons for the bail out, there must be non economics reasons while eating pasembor, just like laffer who drew up the laffer curve on a serviette.

12. Let me, as a Malay, but not proud in saying it, the first reason must be misplaced sentimentalism

13. This company must be saved. Ini soal maruah melayu. Though it's not soal maruah, when they privatized the profits. In fact they don't give a shit about the plebeian Malays.

14. The ownership is Malay, the CEO Malay, the workers mostly malays. Takkan melayu khianat melayu. Wow, my hair stand on ends.

15. That's exactly UMNO thinking. Retain the same clowns so that they can repeat the same schemes of running things.

16. Hello, remember what pendita zaaba says. Almost always the people who oppress and suppress the malays, are leaders of their own kind.

17. If the government lends 1b at preferential interest rates, the loan must come with several conditions.

18. Change the ownership, change the management, change the workers profile. Change the bod. Bring in new blood. PKR, AMANAH and DAP corporate people. Don't bring umno people. Corruption and profiteering from positions is second nature to them. Put in an oversight committee to evaluate all spending decisions in a week . At the most

19. Here is the most revolutionary thing. Break up sapura into 3, 4 independent companies. Each runs as its own profits centre .

20. They will compete in terms of competency, on effeciency. Most of all, compete in terms of honesty . Very unmalay right?

The height of hypocrisy. Tales by an unknown blogger 68

1. It's nauseating when hearing that Zahid hopes justice will prevail in the case of Ismail sabri.

2. Is that UMNO justice?. Reading in between the lines, the kind of justice he hopes for, is for Ismail to be exonerated.

3. Don't you feel like throwing up? That pompous humility couched in terms of pious hope, prayers , wish and so on?

4. Said during the holy month of ramadhan some more. Doesn't mean the holiness rubs off to what is being said. Doesn't make it sacrosanct.

5. Anything that comes out of zahids mouth should be treated with caution. UMNO has no moral authority to talk about justice.

6. That's because UMNO does not believe in justice unless it favours them. UMNO does not believe in law nor in the rule of law. It believes in common law for common people but uncommon law for privileged people such as they .

7. These 2 factors are enough to produce public opprobrium and contempt towards UMNO.

8. While we abhor and regard it very unmalay and impolite when Zahid was refused permission to talk at the vicinity of a mosque in Trengganu, the Trengganu effect, is bittersweet. It should have been accompanied by shouts of hidup, hidup , hidup pok jahik(in Trengganu slang)

9. What happened to Zahid, is the harbinger of how UMNO will be treated from now on. Allowing UMNO to piggy back on you is like carrying a live monitor lizard .

10. UMNOs attitude towards the law and justice is incoherent and gila. Like someone prescribed with ketamine or medicinal morphine.

11. It's qadha and qadar that you try all sorts of monkey business to sanitize Najib and pay lip service to offer moral support to Ismail. But it's also qadha and qadar, the fate of the two goons is already determined. Written in the stars, my dear Brutus.

12. You can conceal the hypocrisy with all the superficial camouflages, the facades-its important to appear religious says Machiavelli; but you can't take away the hypocrite from the java man.

14. Zahid can appear as religious as he wants - the kaffiyeh and the robes, prayer beads and all,( the donkey laden with books is still a donkey) but the sharp man will see through him .

15. Just look at what he orchestrated to save Najib even to the extent of paying UMNO operatives in the social media. These people flare up the issue etc. but when it comes to Ismail managed only a penis-limped response of we hope justice will prevail.

16. In the case of Najib, Zahid forces the issue although knowing of all the corruption, because he knows his political future is interwoven with Najibs welfare. In the case of Ismail, Zahid knew instinctively that Ismail looted and accepts the latter's guilt .

17.despite of all the machinations of Zahid and UMNO, pak shekh must stand firm in his quest to eradicate corruption. Don't be burdened with his genteel sense of justice like according crooks due process and all shit, Najib and Ismail must get their appropriate comeuppance.

18. People will lose faith in you pak sheikh, if despite the storm of charges against these people, but for some legal maneuverings and political expediencies, these people get off the hook, enjoy their ill-gotten gains and laugh at us.

19. These crooks must not think they can make fools of us, indefinitely. We shall fight their internet lies, we shall fight their YouTube yaps, there TikTok trickery and their Facebook farce. We now have the weapons.

20. What happened to Zahid in Trengganu,is the signs of things that will happen to UMNO elsewhere and everywhere. The lies that they have perpetrated over us, over the last 6 decades have caught up with them.

21. If you prick us, do we not bleed? if you tickle us, do we not laugh? if you poison us, do we not die? and if you wrong us, shall we not revenge?

22. The sweetest of revenge, is to discard UMNO.

23. Under herr Zahid, the true character of UMNO has surfaced. It's hypocritical and is a phoney. It's a recalcitrant, intractable and unruly entity. It thinks it stays relevant by continuously being offensive and obnoxious.

24. It bosses people around, has that boss-subordinate mentality secretary sits on lap mindset, master- slave morality and behaves as though everyone owes it living. We can only say , up yours!

Ada esok pasti ada suria

Aku akan pergi

Dengan seribu jebat si anak tani

Kian lama kita mati dalam setia

Kali ini kita hidup dalam duhaka!

Hoist by their own petard. UMNO caught in its own web. Tales by an unknown blogger 67

1. In the Ismail Sabri issue, why do we humor ourselves by asking what's zahids or UMNOs response?

2. As though UMNOs response is that important. Or that of Zahid who still has a dnaa hanging over his head matters.

3. We already know the answer. The answer is, we hope that justice will.prevail.

4 . UMNO talks about justice? Fuyooh! I say man.

5. Who's we? The potential crooks or actual crooks not caught yet?

6. UMNO which doesn't believe in the law and who doesn't accept the rule of law, is qualified to talk about justice? Can jahid talk about justice at all? Tak ada kemaluan ke?

7. Those who come before equity/law, must come with clean hands. Zahids hands are soiled .

8. Justice for UMNO is justice, if it favours them. Justice for Najib is justice only if that fellow is completely exonerated.

9. justice for Ismail, reading in between lines, is justice if Ismail is also exonerated.

10. But that hope is like hoping a camel can pass through the eye of a needle.

11. UMNO can't say explicitly, let the law and the rule of law be applied, can it? That would mean all the pestering about Najib would have to cease. 12. Instead it can only give an ambiguous response. Hoping in the case of Najib, he will get what UMNO is pestering . In the case of Ismail, well, the luck of the coconut husk , it floats. If it's the luck of a stone, it sinks.

13. Didn't UMNO say, it has nothing to do with the SPRM investigations and by extension, with Ismail?

14. So ignore them as its answers, responses and what not are irrelevant. By ignoring UMNO, we will hasten its fade into oblivion.

15. This particular case involving Ismail sabri, will probably lead to the proverbial shit hitting the ceiling. This looting issue, will open the floodgates to other abuses of power done by Ismail sabri.

16. For many UMNO luminaries, the chickens have comeback to roost. The evil deeds done before catch up with you. As Zahid says, we hope justice will be upheld -we hope not UMNO justice but real justice.

17. Ismail sabri is a Malay. To malays in general, lets not be over sentimental over this fact. That is, let malays not be overcome by feelings of tenderness, sadness , nostalgia and indulge over his heinous acts. Let the chips fall as they may .

18. One thing puzzles us, or at least thicky me. Who are we to say UMNO is involved or is not? The investigations are still ongoing yes? Yet the PM can confidently say UMNO is not involved. Isn't that premature?

Monday, 10 March 2025

Some Inconvenient Questions around the Ismail issue. Tales by an unknown blogger no 66

1. UMNO says it has nothing to do with the SPRM investigating Ismail sabri and his gang. By extension, it has nothing to do with Ismail. We will accept that at face value. Now it's true unless the relevant authorities say otherwise.

2. Now, it's true. Later maybe lain cerita.

3. Let's assume the Ismail sabri administration needs expenditure outlay to promote the keluarga Malaysia program. Say, 500m.

4. Who instructs the appropriation? Must be the MOF then. That would mean some officers from the MOF, dealing in the promotional program will be questioned.

5. Who's the funder? If it's from the private sector ie from people wishing to curry favor from pm9, will be questioned .

6. There must be papers and documents for the request of the funds and its approval.

7. Its not as if PM9 asked the money verbally. Hello towkay, Kasi gua 500m. Nanti, belakang kira.

8. It would be strange if MOF approved X amount and the amount paid in various currencies, gold bars and jewelry. This looks the operation of a secret society or a clandestine organization.

9. Or it could mean part of the sum approved is then converted into various currencies , gold bars and jewelry. How come maa?

10. At least, to a non lawyer such as I, that's wrongful and unlawful conversion. It's money repurposed.

11. Which other parties were involved in the program? What aspects of keluarga Malaysia, PM9 wanted to promote?

12. Perhaps PM9 wanted to promote the wholesome family led by ladies. Ladies are important to PM9 and they must be exposed and publicized.

13. That means people from women affairs need to be questioned. Maybe with some fatal Attraction scenes.

14. Perhaps PM9 wanted to showcase national unity. How Malaysian races live in harmony.

15. Then people involved in national unity will be questioned. Ada lu dapat budget kah?

16. PM9 may have wanted to promote tourism aspects of Malaysia . People from the tourism ministry will also be guests of SPRM.

17. The whole keluarga Malaysia program will be coordinated by the information ministry. People there will be interviewed.

18. It was impossible that the number 2 did not know of the program. People from his ministry will be invited to tell their cock and bull stories.

19. It was also impossible for the program and appropriation wasn't discussed at cabinet level. Then certainly some members in the cabinet then ,will receive phone calls from SPRM. For some coffee latte.

20. So many people will be urinating in their pants or dress. It's not and open thing after all.

21. What's strange is the denial from UMNO. That seems to me a suspiciously preemptive defence.

22. The SPRM investigations are not habis yet. The show has not ended until the fat lady sings .

23. UMNO is a political party; being of that nature, invites all sorts of comments , some complimentary and some pejorative. Under emperor Nero, Zahid zerotoleransis the 1st, UMNO has become thin skinned tolerating no adverse criticisms. It's now under an incendiary emperor Nero which burns all dissent.

24. Perhaps Dr stocking and Ham, has prescribed daun ketum or worse, ketamine on UMNOs leaders. God, have mercy!

25. Meanwhile, what the current PMX says is ominously prescient. This investigation is not an investigation on the operations of a kongsi gelap

26. Due process must be followed, ie all relevant parties will be questioned to get a clearer picture. Due process is not the legal due procedural process. It can't be because the matter is not before the courts yet. We can be sure many more people will be 'special guests ' of SPRM. Btw, Special Guest is a title of a book written by former minister Aziz ishak.

Beware, the wolf at the door. Tales by an unknown blogger no 65

1. There's a bizarre twist in the Ismail sabri issue. The issue being , Ismail is now a suspect in the 170m heist.

2. The bizarre twist being the declaration that UMNO has nothing to do with the SPRM investigations. By the same token, nothing to do with Ismail sabri.

3. If UMNO central has nothing to do with the Ismail issue and the 170m heist, why should pahang UMNO has anything to do with Ismail? It's under no obligation to do anything although Ismail is a pahang chap.

4. The UMNO denial raises some interesting issue. It's clear that UMNO is a fair weathered friend. Nana non should be careful with a friend like this.

5. UMNO is with Ismail if hes not caught out. Now that, he's caught with his pants down, Ismail is considered to be on a frolic of his own.

6. UMNO picks and chooses who its friends are. Ismail is a persona non grata. 6b. There's a big difference between Najib and Ismail. Najib gave out some portion of the heisted 1MDB amount to UMNO divisional leaders. UMNO people are severally liable. The whole UMNO is a crook

7. Ismail sabri had not the time to share or had no intention at all to share the loot.. Biar dia mampus la.

8. So UMNO drops Ismail like a sack of hot potatoes. Ismail is a leper.

9. But there is a problem with UMNOs denial. A spokesman of UMNO, (an MKT member, a man who appears regularly on social media and is a darling of UMNO 5th columnists, one of UMNOs laurel and hardy duo)- said that UMNO knew of Ismail's activities for some time already.

10. If UMNO knew about Ismail's activities for sometime already, why didn't it inform the relevant authorities? Why? Why?

11. Didn't tell, is a form of obstruction of justice. UMNO is complicit in the crime.

12. It also suggests, that UMNO would like to share in the loot , if Ismail is not caught out. Now that he is, lu punya pasal maa.

13. UMNO has made hunting with the hounds and running with the hare , an art form.

14. If Ismail is on a frolic of his own and the loot is for his personal benefits, why are there some people out defending him?

15. These people are behaving more spoon than the gravy and the nose being not pointed , push the cheeks .

16. UMNOs denial is not a binary matter( 0 and 1, black or white matter). Pak sheikh, be careful!

Friday, 7 March 2025

UMNO shoots itself on the foot. Part 2 of 2. Tales by an unknown blogger. No 64

1. Don't be suckered into believing the web of lies spun by the UMNO 5th columnists. They will sell their own mothers to exonerate Ismail 16kg by any means necessary.

2. The date on the plastic coverings can mean investigations were done over a long time. The reports can come from anywhere because the seized items were hidden all over. Have the ceilings been checked?

3. Don't claim ownership over the dirty deeds done by Ismail 16kg. We might have to defend it by all means , lying and using all underhanded tactics.

4. There you are, you'll have people on the fringe who will cast doubts sowing the seeds of collective stupidity.

5. More fortuitously, if the perpetrator of the dirty deeds are malays. You will be able to claim malays are criminalized. Some will spring to their defence in the name of race and religion.

6. Exactly, what UMNO would have done .

7. UMNO can never get over, it suffered a most devastating loss in the 15th GE. Under the watch of wak47 and his lackeys .

8. With Sabah UMNO, MCA and mic out of the picture, UMNO is only 20 over strong in peninsula Malaysia.

9. How was it possible , that UMNO, the party that fights for race, religion and King, can be rejected by the malays?

10. As AR Tompel would say, imPOR- ssible, imPOR-ssible!

11. The same fate is plaguing UMNO now and will in future. It's possible la samdol, because the malays, by and large no longer believe in your false narratives .

12. The fight for race, religion and King is really a fight to keep privileges for the top echelon bastards. The Putera in the bumiputera, the novue feudal lords and the Malay brahmins.

13. Do malays need UMNO at all to live? UMNO is not the government in Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Selangor, negeri sembilan, Kelantan, Sarawak and Trengganu. Do we see malays dropping dead like flies? Malays do not need UMNO.

14. That is the fatal conceit of UMNO. It just can't shake off it's arrogance. The UMNO foot soldiers who did the PC showed this.

15. Do malays need UMNO to certify and accredit malays of their Malayness? No right? malays do not need UMNO to define their Malayness. If malays do NOT need UMNO, then it is dispensable. Let's read the last rites or talqin for UMNO. 16. The UMNO wise guys who did the PC lambasting pahang UMNO revealed another aspect of UMNO character. It behaves like it IS the government m. That explains the arrogance of the UMNO brownshirts.

17. Because UMNO thinks and behaves it IS the government, it railroads and bulldozes anything in its path.

18. The law applies to common folks, but not to UMNO. If any of its leaders commit legal infractions or crimes , they are to to be excused. What do these people expect pahang UMNO do? Use extra judicial means to exonerate Ismail 16kg?

19. Those who are admitted to that exalted group of being immunized from the law, can look forward to a blissful life where they can plunder, be as corrupt as they wish, abuse their positions and so on. Hidup UMNO!

20. Justice for UMNO is just a concept created by jurisprudence idealists. Justice for UMNO , is justice only iff it favours them. Hence justice for Najib is justice, iff he gets full pardon and is set free. To do more plunder . Justice for Ismail if found guilty, is justice iff he's held blameless and sacrosanct. Hebat UMNO!

21. Don't you think that believing itself as untouchable by law and justice, brings shame to the malays? They are now described as legal untouchables or legal outsiders. This, alongside other derisory terms used to describe the. Malays. The sad race, the Peter pan race and now the latest, the yat yat yay race.

22. Not for UMNO, the rule of law as in one common law for all. For UMNO there must be one set of law on them and common law for the plebeians. Forgetting and blithely ignoring the oft repeated phrase, be ye ever so high, the law is above you.

23. It irks and upsets me to know of many people rising to defend Ismail and be hailed as heroes. They use some artful arguments and fanciful legal argle bargle.

24. It remains, for us to just ask- on whose side are you on? On the side of the crooks? Or on

the side of the law abiding people?

25. For UMNO, if it's leaders do not get full pardon, they are entitled to partial pardon. Further, they are entitled to home arrest. The housewives and the wretched pakciks languished in jail, waiting( like waiting for Godot)for pardon and just hoping, there is a hidden addendum somewhere granting them UMNO privileges.

26. For the plebeians, as TS Elliot says, don't hope. For hope is to hope for the wrong thing.

27. Special privileges only for UMNO people because they are malays, what,? They have hak istimewa orang melayu dan bumiputera.

28 . If the litigants were named Mr poh Kee mak or Mr tong Sam pah, mampus lagi baik .

29. I am not making the names up, ya. They were characters created by that literary giant, Pak Sako. I wonder if the x sekolahkan y crowd ever heard of Pak Sako?

30. We are greatly annoyed at the simplistic but populist narratives about the case involving Ismail and his minions .

31. That it was nothing more than a clumsy attempt at selective persecution against pure and saintly UMNO people.

32. Evidences were planted by devious nana non to incriminate UMNO people .

33. Conspiracy theories abound when UMNO people are involved .

34. That good people like Najib, Ismail and other UMNO people are the subjects of some dark conspiracies. Najib for example is the subject of conspiracy of Chinese, political enemies funded by George Soros's son . Ismail too is the subject of his political and perhaps some GROs scorned.

35. These simplistic narratives are an insult of our intelligence. Our capacity for critical thinking is always underestimated by these 'high' people. They are in for a surprise.

36. The verbal vomit, done by a few disgruntled UMNO foot soldiers, by way of berating UMNO pahang has only exposed the true character of UMNO. They have opened a can of worms.

37. The characteristics showed by UMNO , are that of a party with fascist tendencies.

38. Malays and Malaysians should ask themselves, do they ever want a party with fascist tendencies to rule over them again? Perhaps, some uncle Tom characters do. For many of us, it's a resounding NO.

39. Malaysians, especially malays must get rid of the Nietzsche slave morality. We must not be burdened and held back by racial, cultural and religious affinities. We must transcend all these artificial constraints. Every narratives must be examined carefully and every propositions be evaluated on their merits. The simplistic story telling around the Ismail issue must be examined on its merits lest we be slaves to lies. As the great Zaaba says, we must be awaken from our slumber, get up, work and be vigilant and earnest always . Be vigilant because the UMNO 5th columnists are always lying.

UMNO shoots itself in the foot. Part 1. Tales by an unknown blogger no 63.

1. After Ismail sabri was questioned by sprm and his gang of 4 remanded by sprm, a group of UMNO foot soldiers held a PC and stated arrogantly .

2. They said the pahang UMNO did nothing after what happened to Najib and Ismail. UMNO pahang sat idle, it's people scratched their balls and became open mouthed spectators.

3. How not to be opened mouth, the pahang UMNO people were shocked that so forgettable Ismail and his gang of 4 looted 177m and yet to be valued jewelry.

4. We don't want to know the beef these UMNO soldiers have with pahang UMNO or its MB. We don't give a damn.

5. But we are certainly interested to expose the true character of UMNO, arising from the conduct of these UMNO foot soldiers

6. The 1st thing UMNO will do, is to project Najib and Ismail as victims of evil persecution by the PH government and some repugnant machinations by Anwar.

7. Some malays, notably UMNO people resistant to critical thinking, of course got sucked into collective stupidity, believed in the false narratives. They blamed the government of Nana Non for the persecution.

8. Against overwhelming evidence and proof( everyone in the world saw stacks of money, gold bars and jewelry) the adamant Stupids still want to spin the reveal

9. That's a typical UMNO response- deny and dispute the facts. They are just truth deniers , just as they deny UMNO lost badly in the 15th GE.

10. Justice maybe blind in the courts but in the streets, justice has eyes, ears and mouths .

11. It's aware of what's happening - the people know that Ismail sabri and his gang looted the country.

12. With the information gathered thus far and the outburst of UMNO foot soldiers, I will show the following:-

  • UMNO cannot accept it lost in the 15th GE
  • UMNO believes its still the government. It's delusional.
  • UMNO thinks it's above the law.
  • UMNO has no respect for the rule of law.
  • UMNO believes its entitled to break the law, loot corrupt and abuse their positions to make money
  • Believes if it breaks the law, it can be excused and exonerated.
  • Believes that if it does not get full full pardon, UMNO people are entitled to partial pardon.
  • UMNO crooks are entitled to house arrest. * Justice for UMNO , only if it favours them.

13. If the UMNO foot soldiers who decried umno pahang for doing nothing, they had another thing coming. They just opened a can of worms.

14. The story will continue in part 2. I accede to the staying power of readers. Mustn't torture them with heavy reading .

Some irritating thoughts on EPF. Tales by an unknown blogger, no. 62

1. Just a short one. Can't help but be an irritant and a nuisance. What to do? A Dr Mahathir would say , I am a congenital cynic.

2. The EPF has announced a dividend of 6. 3%. the bestest thus far. Hurrah! Life is a scream , yeah?

3. But I just want to ask. 6.3% against whose percentage?

4. If it's against its own previous %age points, then EFF is behaving like a JCB excavator. Scratching its own candy ass.

5. How does EPF compare with dividends of other fund managers. Have the form 5 school reporters asked this irritating question?

6. Didn't it occur to anyone, that the figures may have been doctored or massaged? Massaged is more likely because we all know EFF officers like to visit 'massat' centres. Saya mahu number lucky 47.

47 is the number of charges against wak jahid. Ask nga kor Meng to pronounce Zahid. He will say Jahid.

7. This feel good figure is giving politicians opportunities to weaponise it. It's needed after the 'good ' performance the EPF recorded after being bashed by uncle Wee Kah Siong. Haiyya!

7(b). Even the PM used the 6.3% dividend declared to be sign of investors's confidence of EPF managing funds. Why don't we ask EPF how much stock is bought by these foreign investors?

8. Then it's reported that analysts are impressed by this figure.

9. Who reported? Form 5 graduates? Can they understand the sophisticated arguments of the analysts? More so , if the analysts used some technical tools of technical analysis? Time series analyses or econometrics?

10. Who are the analysts? Very often when they say many analysts, there are in fact none. It's just fabricated. Okk la, just name one.

11. My idea, is let the government set up a 2nd independent EPF with a separate CEO.

12. The EPF A will compete against EPF B to produce better dividends.

13. They will compete in terms of who can manage funds better, compete in terms of honesty and other measures.

14. Oh, let the employment of staff be multiracial and employment based on merits.

Seeing the forest from the trees. Tales by an unknown blogger. No 61

1. When I was studying at UM in the late 70s, when naughty boys see girls wearing provocative attires, they would term the girls as'c*ck teasers'.

2. Girls and ladies in general are still c*ck teasers. But the latest c*ck teaser on the block is SPRM.

3. It teases us provocatively about the money looted and plundered by Ismail sabris gang of robbers.

3(b). First, it was reported that 50m was found. Later it was 100m plus and assets . Latest it says, it's indeterminate. It's money plus assets .

4. It's typical of sprm. Never forthright and direct. If not precise, how to prosecute? The charge papers will be said to be defective.

5. Why not say the name of the culprits clearly and list down the assets and beg borrow or steal an electronic counter to count the money . Boleh?

6. By stating the names clearly and stating the amount and assets, the public can form an opinion as to the character of the culprits.

7. Right now, people are already saying Ismail sabri and his gang of bandits are looters and robbers.

8. Nevermind the oft repeated phrase of innocent before proven guilty, in the court of public opinion, these people are scoundrels.

9. When news of the arrest of a number of people broke out, sure enough, the right wingers, the Malay supremacists, the KKK minded people, decried the speed by which sprm arrested these people. Woa, so fast eh?

10. Hello stupidos- surveillance on these people was already done for a few months. The arrest made as soon as sprm obtained the remand order from a magistrate.

11. Decry the substance, not the form.arrest is the form. The substance is looking and robbing of money and assets. Condemn the looting, not the manner the arrest is implemented.

12. Of course, to the Malay supremacists, because the looters are malays, they should be given much leeway and tolerance because as malays, they have hak istimewa orang melayu dan bumiPUTRA kan?

13. Of course UMNO people feigned stoicism. Wak Zahid saying he has confidence in the professionalism of SPRM blah blah. A spokesman of UMNO when asked by UMNO fifth column reporters said UMNO knew about the activities of Ismail and gang.

14. What? Knew of it a long time? That was a slip of the tongue made loose by a fluid brain.

15. If UMNO knew about it, why didn't it inform SPRM or the government? If not caught by SPRM, would that mean UMNO would continue to keep quiet?

16. If it had kept mum, wouldn't that mean UMNO is complicit in the looting and robbing?

17. Now we all know- not only is UMNO synonymous with corruption, it will hide about it. UMNO is therefore assessory to the fact.

18. Now you also know why you must reject UMNO. Its synonymous with corruption. It's also a law breaker believing itself as immuned to legal actions.

19. UMNO is inherently untrustworthy. UMNO, it's leaders and people are congenital liars. UMNO, not Anwar is the congenital liar'. You can never ever believe in anything UMNO says. You can never believe in UMNO, it's leaders and people. By extension, you can never ever believe in whatever the embezzler in chief says.

20. Save Malaysia from the likes of UMNO!

21. Friends, Malaysians and countrymen, lend me your ears. The bigger picture is the corruption, looting and plundering that UMNO is complicit of..if it were the government, all hell breaks loose!

The Pahang Bermunajat - anticlimax for most. Tales by an unknown blogger. No 60

1. I didn't want to write about the pahang bermunajat dan raja berdaulat thing. Until some people insisted that the addendum was hidden by someone.

2. The sultan mentioned that the issue of the addendum is under the jurisdiction of the responsible parties-the courts and government.

3. The addendum, if it exists, is subjected to the process of the law.

4. Let's not read what the sultan mentioned , as meaning that someone hid the addendum. That what remains is it's implementation

5. Implement what? We don't know the contents. How sure are we that the contents say, felon Najib can be given house arrest?

6. Why is that some people are eager to exonerate Najib from the heinous crime? His guilt was established by all 3 levels of our court .

7. The fact that tuan Ibrahim left the event or that some people talked to akmal and some politicians are not an argument la tuan.they are just 'condiments' to the principal subject matter. They are not material to the 'addendum' issue.

8. Tuan Ibrahim may have left because he was disappointed that his politics were not discussed. Akmal and some UMNO people were around , proved that UMNO had its dirty hands behind the event.

9. Anwar must always be conscious that UMNO is always plotting to cause his downfall. The enemy never sleeps.

10. The UMNO people in the cabinet may conduct themselves with a poker face, but be sure that they have given instructions to their ground troops to find every opportunity to discredit the PM.

11. Such as spinning the pahang bermunajat event.

12. That's where the danger is when readers listen to impassioned pleas on utube. The presenter can sigh, can cry, laugh , show sadness can exploit your emotions to the extent you'd think they are speaking the truth. In fact they are just playacting. You know these UMNO jokers- they are manipulative actors and actresses.

12. By right, you should discount off 50% of what they say as BS, realizing what they say is only half true. Especially when they leverage what they are presenting, using race, religion and in this case, literally the king.

13. You are influenced by all the gimmicky stuff- the facial gestures, the body language etc, when they appear on YouTube. Don't be suckered - apply your critical thinking.

14. The sultan said the(legality,) status of the addendum is up the relevant (legal) institutions. Once the legality status is cleared, it's subject to the process of the law.

15. If the pro Najib house arrest addendum interpreted the addendum to their advantage, a contrary interpretation must also be accommodated.

16. The bermunajat event must be a huge disappointment to the right wingers and Malay supremacist groups.

17. For the special interest groups hoping to weaponise the addendum issue, that issue became a limp one.

18. The sultan did not say explicitly YES the addendum does exist and YES, it provides for house arrest for the convict in chief .

19. Instead the sultan said, the legality of the addendum must first be established and once positively established, it is subjected to the process of the law . Ada esok maka pasti ada suria Aku akan pergi dengan seribu jebat si anak tani Kian lama kita mati dalam setia, kali ini kita hidup dalam duhaka

20. To the UMNO ' hang tuah' we no longer want to be totally subservient and obedient to YOUR version of bangsa agama dan raja

21. You don't define things for us. We have independent minds!

22. To pas, which had hoped that the munajat event can be made political capital, to say that day by day, Malay interests are eroded, the event did nothing of that .

23. Instead, the sultan said quite early, don't politicize his presence at the event.

24. Instead, the sultan said, his presence was to pray together with the rakyat. Solat maghrib, baca Yasin and tahlil, solat hajat and solat isyaq. That's all folks!

25. So, do your worse, we will do our best to debunk you.

Thus spoke cip nazri Aziz. Tales by an unknown blogger. No. 59

1. When nazri Aziz, says he's living in fear as who will succeed anvar ebraheem as PM, many scoffed and pooh poohed his opinion.

2. We can only infer what he means by what he said and not try to second guess what his heart actually said. Here is my take.

3. Of course, physically Anvar Ebraheem is not indispensable. I am sure that is not an intelligent rottweiler like nazri meant.

4. Any Malay Tom Dick or Harry can replace Anvar. Akmal himler salleh, wak jahid, sanusi, the court jesterly mat shabu2 or scrape the bottom Dr shamsuri can replace Anvar.

5. Two things which ' chip' nazri said is of interest. Nazri was UMNO youth chip once right?

6. It's difficult to find a person with the right acumen, temperament and values to replace nana Anvar. A person not constrained by racial biases, religious intolerance and biases in general. A person with these qualities are hard to come by.

7. The other thing which cip nazri said, was our educational and our political system( my addition) are not conducive for finding the ideal fit. And I want to add, much of the deficiencies in our educational or political system is the result of UMNOs melayu Uber alles or Malay supremacist mentality.

8. The extreme right wingers and the Malay supremacist groups are seething with anger and pulling their hair at nazri's opinion. It's expected of them.

9. Now, let's amplify the things which cip nazri said.

10. In our frenzied environment of racial, morality and religious supremacy, it's extremely difficult to find a person ' wide chested' or berlapang dada as Anvar.

11. Yes,Anvar has his foibles - the vacillating and wavering aspects of his endearing character, but these shortcomings can be compensated if he has good people around him. That is another matter deserving a separate article. Not necessarily by a person such as I .

12. The people mentioned in point number 4 above do not fit the bill. Hence the necessity of defending Anvar.

13. We may not like him for 1001 irrational reasons, but Anvar is our best bet

14. Just think of the alternatives. Najib wannabe? We will have a string of the mother of all heists in the form of other 1MDBs. Abah moo? Parliament will be suspended sine die and a thousand janawibawa will bloom. Akmal himler salleh? Racial strife will be the order of the day. Shamsuri? Religious 1984 and fire and brimstone will be the main features.

15. The 2nd part of nazris opinion is a terrible indictment of our educational, read political system. That system is not capable of nurturing the leader that is most suitable for Malaysia.

16. That educational/political system is produced by UMNO and pas.

17. UMNO is responsible for it's xenophobic nationalism while pas is responsible for religious nationalism. Both are grounded on Malay supremacy.

18. That Malay supremacy and melayu Uber alles mentality, can only survive on antagonistic ethnic relations .

19. The system produced by these far right parties and parties of the same kind, can only produced leaders steeped in their traditions. By necessity, the leaders can only subsist in a system based on hostilities, strife and antagonistic values.

20. A leader produced by such a system can only be a constraint on a people who just want to be enabled to pursue the good life. That is, to pursue social, political and economic objectives of their own choice .

21. The even bigger damning indictment is that , such a leader for the benefit of the majority , cannot be produced by either UMNO or pas .

22. Now we see the logic as to why finding others to replace Anvar is fearful. That's why not only cip nazri has to defend Anvar but we too must. Save Malaysia from the KKK minded .

23. Some people think the defects of their regressive system can be overcome if we have technocrats leading us

24. The records of being led by technocrats is by far very dismal. Just look at the outfits run by technocrats. They are plagued by corrupt, inefficiency and failure. Thus having a technocrat leading the country is no guarantee of success. Malaysia will not necessarily succeed on technocracy .

25. The opinions of cip nazri Aziz are not personal, nonsensical and empty talk after all.
