2. Some people see him as duplicitous, never one to speak direct and true, vacillating.
3. Always one to speak as though he is suffering from perpetual constipation and covering up any issues with the Salman Rushdie raised eyebrows. Which makes him looked a devilish entity.
4. These people see him as underhanded, sly and not dependable.
5. These 'some people ' are the usual suspects. The entitled UMNO degenerates unable to come to terms that the majority of Malaysians and in particular, the malays who rejected UMNO. People who are addicted to power, deprived and turned into lorong hj. Taib junkies.
6. They lose whatever self respect they have, looses their armor propre- they prostitute themselves to ph to stay relevant. But never losing vengeful outpourings towards ph . But scared to get out knowing UMNO will be put to pasture.
7. Then there are the bersatu functionaries who seem to see everything wrong with nana tambun.
8. The ecclesiastical dictators of the ecclesiastical party wear a perpetually frowning face unable to understand why God hasn't blessed them. Lately they have become a party that supports naked lies, libel and slander. They now endorse robbery, pillage and plunder. It's a party that goes by the motto, WA haramun kalau makan sorang, WA halalun kalau bagi dua. Don't be fooled by these ecclesiastical dictators.
9. Dr Mahathir gives a most acerbic of description. Mahathir likens Anwar to the many headed hindu God turned bad. I forgot the name by which the God goes.
10. Being a political hydra, Anwar speaks one thing to the malays, another thing to a Chinese yet a another thing to Indiana. Different things to different people. None of which is true.
11. These are some of the uncomplimentary descriptions of Nana tambun aka nana non aka sungai Long Bolshevik. For the majority of us, stay calm. We must'nt think of Anwar as sly, underhanded, duplicitous or ' as a congenital liar'. The question is can he be an effective leader and thereby arrests the downside in approval ratings?
12. We are not in a male beauty contest,good behavior contest or a good Muslim contest. As a politician, is he an effective leader?
13. He can be an effective leader if he prevents anyone ,group or party from assaulting the supremacy of the law and the sovereignty of the constitution.
14. Charge those phalanx of idiots and dumbasses with their false pantheons of leaders from UMNO, bersatu or pas who orchestrated the solidarity with Najib gathering
15. Aren't these people using extra judicial means to subvert the supremacy of the law and undermine our constitution? They are insurgents, that's who they are!
16. Use the big stick on them. Believe you me, you will get approbation from the majority of law abiding citizens. You will only be despised by the insignificant number of solidarity with Najib crowd.
17. Supporting and manipulating the addendum issue means some degenerates support theft, corruption and pillage. Have we forgotten the man in the Kajang Hilton stole billions from us? Are the malays in that gathering suffering from temporary insanity?
18. The gathering or the solidarity gathering has brought immense shame and odium on the Malay race.
19. It makes it seem that the Malay race as a whole, is a lost and sad tribe . Lost because it doesn't have the universal value of distinguishing right from wrong . Isn't supporting a man who makan duit haram is haram itself?
20. Or a big sin? And they call then pious Muslims?
21. They are the sad race requiring to be pitied always. They are like small children. They suffer from the Peter pan syndrome, refusing to grow up and be accountable. If Najib doesn't want to be accountable for his theft and pillage, let he alone suffer the consequences. Other malays , ignore him.
22. Hey, what about a sense of loyalty, espirit de corps, camaraderie, not abandoning the great leader when he is down?
23. To which I answer, understand the verse Al maidah 2. Didn't God asks us to help others, to enjoin them, honour espirit de corps when they do good or enjoin us to elevate our taqwa?
24. Solidarity with Najib means you are supporting theft, plunder, abuse of power, unbridled corruption etc
25. What's scarry is, the charlatans, demagogues and the false pantheons are inviting the people gullible enough to gather at the solidarity gathering not only to endorse the heinous crimes Najib did but to use extrajudicial means to sanitize him.
26. That is an invitation we ALL must resolutely refuse. If that's the kind of malays defined by the Malay supremacist parties, we must reject them .
27. The malays at the gathering of imbeciles showed they were the opposite as what the malays are as described by tingkat warrant or Usman awang.
28. Are the malays gentle,wise, refined in manners, malu or humble or shameful when they are right, bold and aggressive when they are in the wrong etc. see Usman awang: melayu.
29. They were certainly more aggressive, hostile, temperamental and bold at the gathering. Because they know they were inherently in the wrong!
30. Instead their behavior then were more Machiavellian in character.
31. They were fickle minded, farcical, hypocritical, sanctimonious, pietistic etc. they were and are a tricky lot, sly and underhanded. Trusting and dependable are certainly not their automatic characteristics
32. They easily switched allegiance and loyalty when given freebies. Who do you think gave them free transport, packed food , free t shirts and pocket money? UMNO la!
33. When you see pakciks and makciks shouting themselves coarse ' hidup, hidup and bebas bebas' Najib were they not being farcical? They were certainly useful village idiots.
34. Weren't they comical in trying extrajudicial means to free a convicted felon, put in jail by all 3 levels of the court?
35. Aren't they are being hypocritical when they could have lived up to higher levels of moral conduct such as being true and honest?
36. Yet at that gathering, they were willing to stoop low living out the big lie and being plainly dishonest .
37. Yet they claimed they are the master race and the race par excellence? Bull!
38. Nana non must have the iron to deal with these attacks. These internal contradictions, as it were are more dangerous than external contradictions.
39. Use any means necessary to deal with these attacks. Deal decisively with those who attack the supremacy of the law. "kill ' all those who want to subvert the sovereignty of the constitution. Deal harshly with insurrectionist elements.
40. Yes! By any means necessary. It's better to be feared than to be loved. They hate you, but more loved you!

A case of bad law. Why it's not a formality. Tales by an unknown blogger. No 35

1. I intercept my installment on 'By Any Means Necessary ' because I hear of some disturbing statements on royal pardon. Although the issue of pardon is over. We are facing the issue of addendum now. Not the same.

2. These prominent lawyers say the right to pardon is a formality. But does the claim of formality extends to the addendum, if it ever exists at all?

3. No one has yet establish it's existence. The subject matter of the addendum is house arrest. Which is not provided for in the constitution.

4. Unlike lord Denning who is a mathematician first before reading law , most lawyers are illiterate in mathematics.

5. Let us assume, improbably Najib is granted a house arrest. The UMNO people are jumping joyously.

6. But what if he's found guilty of the charges made out against him in the 1MDB case? 7. Will he then be snatched from his langgak duta mansion to serve time in Kajang Hilton?

8. Therefore I think the biggest stumbling block for Najib getting the subject matter of the addendum, the wine chalice as it were, is the yet to be finished 1MDB case.

9. So Mr lawyers sirs, let's be clear about what we are discussing. The issue of pardon is over. Now we are discussing the subject matter of the addendum. Does the formality also extends over the addendum?

10. In the opinion of an idiot non lawyer, until the 1MDB case is finished, the issue of the addendum cannot be deliberated by the pardons board.

11. If I am not mistaken, Najibs lead counsel said this 1MDB case will take years to complete. Thus in the words of a late judge, the issue of the addendum is, ' irrelevant '

12. Then we have to explain whether the addendum is part of the pardon or a separate matter to discuss on its own .

13. In the meantime, lawyers will continue with their legal argle bargle .we have only heard narratives supporting the convicted felon. It's not possible to reach a conclusion yet .

14. Lawyers with differing outlooks will argue their positions till the cows come home. Listening to either perspectives, without interceding them with our own judgements and information, will lead the world becoming a maddening place.

15. Listening to lawyers giving us their unfettered opinions which is reciprocated by absolute deference can lead this world becoming an asylum as it were. Because of the potential mess and havoc lawyers can create, we immediately recall 2 popular quotes about lawyers.

16. One, came from the character in 1 of Shakespeare's play, when Dick the butcher says, the 1st thing we do is to kill all the lawyers.

17. The other came from Mr Dimble, a character from Dickens book who says , 'the law is a(n) ass, a(n) idiot'

18. The object lesson or morale of these quotes, is never accept unquestioningly the narratives of lawyers. Treat them with a pinch of salt, a dose of cynicism and circumspection or if you prefer, circumcision.

19. Analyse and think about what they say. Perhaps not everything is true. Apply the thing between your ears. And I don't mean the nose.

20. We will notice that lawyers like to quote this and that clause. To justify their arguments. We have no quarrel over this. That is their stock in trade.

21. Perhaps also to prevent us laymen from intruding into their turf. Their province. Which they jealously guard.

22. But that won't stop us laymen from saying this or that law is bad law. In our opinion that is .

23. One assertion that I take exception with is saying the king's prerogative to pardon is a formality. And that prerogative extends to the business of the pardons board.

24. That in my opinion, as a layman, is bad law. No disrespect to the king. Here are my reasons why .

25. The king does not sit in solus. As in some celebratory occasions or during his birthday.

26. On these occasions the King enjoys unfettered and absolute prerogative to pardon. As in the case of the sultan of Selangor. On the sultans birthday, he pardoned a convict who obtained a doctorate during his uninterrupted sojourn in his cell.

27. But the king does not sit in solus in the pardons board. As a member of the pardons board he loses his absolute prerogative to pardon. Sitting alone , he is X. As a member of the pardons board, he is X -1. Is X the same as X - 1?

28. It's a bad law that results in the king losing his estimation and majesty. The Malay says mencemar dulu .

29. Let's use the language of an accountant. If one side suffers a debit(losing estimation) another side gets the credit. When the king suffers a debit, the pardons board gets the credit. Ok so far?

30. The pardons board secures a credit through the operations of a bad law. The pardons board 'steals' a credit from the king and confers the stolen credit upon itself. Stealing is a crime right? How can a law condones a crime. Hence a law giving prerogative or formality is a bad law.

31. Also, such a law flies in the face of the sovereignty of our constitution. Isn't our country a constitutional monarchy?

32. The constitution is the guard rails, the constraints that prevent the king to behave accordingly.

33. The constitution provides the king unfettered prerogative to pardon when he sits in solus. That prerogative does not extend when he sits as part of the pardons board.

34. On a number of cases, decisions of the pardons board have been considered amenable to a review by the courts. Why can't the courts now review the pardons board decision involving Najib?

35. As I said, no disrespects to the king. I have given my reasoned arguments thereof. If you don't agree, please come out with your reasoned arguments.

36. In the next article I will give my views on the addendum issue. I shall write on the politics behind the solidarity with Najib issue.

1. The sungai Long Bolshevik must do something radical. Something which shocks the system . To restore public faith , belief and confidence in him. God knows, he has lost substantial of that precious commodity

2. This is the alienation of credibility not very much different from the alienation of labour brought about by industrial capitalism.

3. The loss of credibility brought about by the edifying effects of being in unchallenged power. Made worse by the absence of ballsy reminders from ball licking people around the supreme leader. Wasn't it uncle nick who says that the 1st test of a leader's intelligence is to see the people around him?

4. Wasn't it the same uncle nick who says that the pm must say unequivocally, that he is not interested in retaining the status quo but interested in overthrowing it?

5 . Again, do something radical. Out of the box. Not imagined by the dullards ride-alongs with you ,sir!

6. Start by ending the addendum charlatans and their charade. Charge those who organized solidarity with the convicted felon for essentially, a rebellion.

7. The existence of an addendum may just be a bloody hoax issue. Think about it. If wak47 and the MB of Pahang cited the addendum they would have caused it to be published in the sosmed? Wouldn't they?

8. Even more compelling, the son of Najib said he actually has a copy of the addendum. If so, why not have it plastered all over the smarmy sosmed?

9. They can't because there was no addendum. Instead all of them did a CNN narrative i.e. spin and spin and repeat the lie over and over again.

10. Until the deceived and idiotic people start believing that there is an addendum, where actually none existed. Then they all start making braying noises that became louder and louder.

11. I think it was Joseph Goebbels who said if a lie is repeated numerous times, the lie becomes the truth

12. Not only the uninitiated start believing an addendum exists but red lips Najib, instead of becoming the perpetrator and author of an heinous crime costing the nation 40b over, becomes the persecuted victim. Isn't he a Malay and bumiputera, entitled to special treatment?

13. Nana tambun must say clearly he is not interested in preserving the status quo but is interested in overthrowing it!

14. It's not a question of following the process, manual or technicalities of the law. It is doing what is right.

15. If you were to ask 10 right thinking people, 11 would say Najib deserves his proper comeuppance.

16. I am not going to argue about some people saying it's a formality that the king has the right to pardon a convict. It will be argued in another article.

17. Anwar thinks he is being virtuous by citing due process . You can't stay virtuous if you are surrounded by un- virtuous UMNO people.

18. Ending the melodrama of the robber-in- chief is the epitome of doing something radical. Say it loud and clear, the pm is not interested in preserving the status quo but is interested in overthrowing it!

19. So no more BS around , no more verbal diarrhea, verbal semantics and acrobatics and no more artful rhetorics .

20. No more pious reference to due process. It was lord Denning who said that my brother judges are interested (in the technicalities of) the law, I am interested in justice. Please stop being virtuous when you are surrounded by un-virtuous people.

1. The ink has not proverbially dried up over my article on political longevity, the polls on the PM's approval ratings came out.

2. The surveys have as the PM's personal approval and approval over his administration as over 50% but less than 55%. 3. I can't remember the exact details, but I hope Nana tambun is not too mesmerised over the results of the surveys. He should be circumspect and not err ( circumcised over the results for a number of reasons.

4. A sample size of 100+ is questionable. As a gauge to represent the views of a majority of 34 million . The small size appears chosen, to yield desired results. To please pm and his supporters .

5. A sample size of 3000 would be more appropriate. Though more complex as such a sample size would attract stochastic and other disturbances coefficients, the results yielded would be realistic.

6. The spread between approval and disapproval is small. Like the English weather, it can change in an instant.

7. Approval ratings from their previous ratings percentage points increase marginally. 8. If the approval rating figures are less that 55%, wouldn't that mean, the disapproval rating is 45,%? I certainly would worry about this figure than the approval rating figures.

9. Therefore my first order of business is to find out the causes why is that so.

10. By the way isn't the spread between the approval ratings and the increase in approval ratings from the previous year meagre, reflects those responsible for propping up the pm, not doing their jobs properly?

11. The PKR information chief and his team( if he has one hasn't been doing a good job of eadearing nana tambun to the people. Perhaps they are busy a Mrs palmer and her 5 daughters.

12. The communications minister, who is a PKR man is doing a half past six job at saving nana tambun. Perhaps he is busy ensuring his hair is in place, or riding a basikal tua or making sure his dick as like the cap kicing battery, ie is 'Eveready '.

13. Sorry boys- I love u all. But when I criticized, I do so honestly. So be ready for my in your face criticisms

14. These fuckers must believe in these 2 principles:- the leader who is highly esteemed will be extremely difficult to conspire against and the best fortress a leader can have is affection of the people. So direct your brains to achieving these instead of shouting yahoo in 'kalaoke' joints or riding a basikal tua.

15. Isn't the best test to estimate the intelligence of a leader is to see the people he surrounds himself with?

16. I have already mentioned what the 2 factors leading to political longevity are; now let's put some meat on the bone.

17. In a way, Anwar Ibrahim is hoist by his own petard as it were . He's trapped by the incessant sloganeering of Reformasi everywhere and anywhere. That prevents him from acting decisively and with surgical precision.

18. You know the reformasi way- doing things ever so politely and leisurely. Like doing a painting, making embroidery, eating pasembok nasi kandaq beratok or eating kepala ikan jenahak in balik pulau.

19. Unable to see that he must carry out radical changes. It must be a violent overthrow of the previous decadent regime. Violent in the sense of dismantling all the superstructures of the previous UMNO regime.

20. If faith and belief in are eroded he must reverse the slide immediately.

21. Nana tambun must declare unequivocally, that he is not interested in preserving the status quo which ironically what reformasi is achieving. He is interested in overthrowing it.

22. If he were to continue cultivating faithh and belief in him thereby ensuring his political longevity, he must adapt with the times.

23. The zeitgeist of the times, demand nana tambun enforces the rule of law strictly, dismantles weed out the cancer of corruption, dismantle the monopolies and monopolistic practices, eliminate the deep state in the ministries, dismantle the licensed potentates and so on .

24. See how confidence, faith and belief of the people are restored if Nana tambun were to do these:-

25. Resume proceedings against wak47, judicially revokes the DNAAS given to Najib and irwan siregar, revises judicially the acquittal of rosmah and reappraises the appointment of Musa aman and so on .

1. One of the memorable slogans coined by James Carville, the Clinton strategist, was change or more of the same. That apart from it's the economy stupid!

2. Then,there's a statement made by one of the greatest economists and one with a rapier sharp mind. Milton Friedman.

3. He said, almost always , good intentions produce directly opposite results .

4. Meritocracy, rule of law, eradicating corruption, abuse of power, dismantling the deep state , advancing competence etc are obviously, good intentions.

5. But you have dismal results .you have open rejection of the rule of law, kakistocracy instead of meritocracy, more corruption instead of checking it, rampant abuse of power, celebration of mediocrity, etc.

6. The less corrupt for now, accuses the already and more corrupt of corruption. The less corrupt for now investigates the more corrupt and eventually absolves the already corrupt for blatant pillage.

7. You gave them DNAAs, you gave them pardons, propose house arrest and finally acquits them. So these people can 2 finger the people and say, qui'ls mangent de la brioche. Let them eat cake or kropok lekor.

8. If you have time, read Friedmans ' Bright promises, dismal performances. If u see it, buy.

9. The supreme leader aka the sungai Long Bolshevik, on stage here and there speaks animatedly about the rule of law is negara hukunm, good governance, anti corruption slogans etc, but the talks are not followed by the walks .

10. They are just cheruk tokkuns Boria renditions danced awkwardly, full of missteps.

11. How do we reconcile these diatribes and vehement rhetorics against corruption, rejection of the rule law, good governance etc against what is happening on the ground? They could be tips of the iceberg indicating the rot is more severe.

12. The main problem is while the luminaries of reformasi talked about grandiose and attention grabbing slogans, they actually are in the dark about what's going on. They are bamboozled by the deep state and the apparatuses left before by the decadent UMNO government.

13. So you actually perpetuate the same as usual business without effecting the changes you shout. It's more of the same , not change, stupid!

14. A few cases come to mind. How do you explain the overnight emergence of of Malaysia,s Salvador Dali as a novue rich?

15. This chap probably earned his biggest salary when he served as Anwars political secretary. His ordinary parents certainly did not bequeath him any windfall. His sister was an ex stewardess. They all had to work to earn a living. So when people asked where he got the money to buy into a company that later got a very lucrative contract from the good governanced government, tounges start wagging.

16. It's worse if he says he's only fronting for some parties. That means he's leveraging on his relationship with pmx to capture government businesses. Horrors!

17. He's a well rewarded tool used by behind the scenes business potentates to fleece the government. That's treasonous.

18. Hey, I must speak about this case. Who are the idiot economists who said it's good economics for the government to lease or rent 28 helicopters from weststar over a period of 15 years for 16 billion? Where as a comparison, the Philippines government Bought 32 Blackhawk helis for only 2.6 billion?

19. For your information, wesstar is the company that supplied helis for nana non to campaign here and there. For free then . The company collects now.

20. I hope the advisors and dumbass economists do not include the Tom Selleck wannabe 2nd finance minister. His statements regarding fashion valet show his a not so smart fellow. Perhaps the utility of his moustache lies in fact that it can tickle the female anatomy at strategic parts.

21. Finally theres this strange case of Musa amans appointment as Sabahs tyt. A man who has a closet full of corruption cases is suddenly sanitized and appointed as Sabah tyt?

22. Just what has he done to get rehabilitated? Did he promise to bank roll Sabah elections?

23. It's the hypocrisy that pollutes the air which suffocates us. There's a divergence


between what is said and actually done.

26. It proves my point that often those who speak of lofty ideals are often those who first renege against them.

27. I begun my article by quoting Carville and Friedman. I shall end it by quoting a practitioner of realpolitik- the great Lee kuan Yew.

28. During 1 political rally lky said. Those who govern Singapore must have that iron in him. Although spoken in a specific context, the statement has general applications.

29. Which can mean for Malaysia, whoever governs her, must have the iron in him. If Nana tambun, has not the iron in him , he must surround himself with those who do

30. Correspondingly it means Nana tambun will have to get rid of the deadwood and those whose blood are deficient in iron. Nana tambun would know who they are. But I suspect high on the list of the excess baggage would be wak47, ayam den lapeh man and zamri the black .

31. In an interview, lky told viewers what are the principal determinants of political longevity. Its not the hindustàni looks of Nana tambun.

32. The 2 determinants of political longevity are never break faith or belief of the people in you and promises made are promises kept .

33. Nana tambun makes himself out as the chief/chip change agent . He talks of lofty ideals. Rule of law, good governance, ridding of corruption, collusion and nepotism, a harmonious and caring society through the nebulous madanism etc.

34. Faith and belief, refer to these higher ideals. But if Nana tambun regularly denigrates and trivializes them , allowing them to be corroded by reactionaries, they will shorten his political longevity.

35. While faith and belief refer to lofty ideals, promises are specific commitment to carry out some specific tasks.

36. Things like reducing the price of fuels , no matter when you said it, removal of Azam Baki, removal of tolls, ptptn,reduction in cost of living, cheaper groceries, better housing and health care, security and so on.

37. I must mention electricity tariff. The public is faced with the grim prospects of increasing electricity tariff while TNB is making abnormal and indecent profits .

38. These 2 things combined will greatly shortened pms political longevity. Not to mention UMNO continuously sabotaging PH. Remember what Machiavelli said, the most fatal mistake is to invite your enemy to share power

39. I say all these out of love for Nana tambun. I want him to stay as pm for as long as possible. I would be remiss in my duty if I don't speak candidly and with candour. Even at the expense of being marginalized by pm. The prospects of right wing parties especially UMNO returning to power is abhorrent.

40. It's change or more of the same. A revolution is the violent overthrow of a corrupt regime. Remove all vestiges of UMNO legacy. Abandon wak47 with earnest!

Aspects of an uncommon law. The acquittal of Malaysia's Marie Antoinette. Tales by an unknown blogger. No 31

2. My own solo sojourn was rudely interrupted by the news of rosmahs acquittal. She got acquittal for her 17 charges.

3. it was the principal reason given by the presiding judge which interrupted my solo sojourn.

4. The judge said the charges were defective. I asked my lawyer brother, what the CPC has to say on this?

5. The CPC or criminal procedure code, says under its section 242 something like this.

6. No irregularities or defects in the criminal charges can vitiate them so as to render the criminal charges be quashed or prevent them from being concluded.

7. As far as I know, being not a lawyer, you can quash proceedings of civil but not criminal charges.

8. That would be a moot point for lawyers of persuasions to discuss over drinks at the Selangor club . Untill the cows come home, they can argue about it.

9. Oh, at the same time sing long live the queen and hail Britannica!

10. So on what legal basis did the unlearned judge quash rosmahs criminal proceedings? Did he invent a law where none existed before? Did he get a sudden epiphany?

18. There's a spread of 130 to 170 ringgit. Let's assume 50 ringgit goes to the retailers. Ex kilang and retailers price is 180 ringgit. Correct?

19. There's still a spread of between 80 to 120 ringgit right? Where do you think this spread goes? To the middlemen industrial complex. That's the answer .
